  1. PKI rides? Overrated? Never! They all have their own special qualities and features that some people enjoy. Otherwise, they would be gone now. Altogether *SP?* every ride adds something to KI making it what it is. Special memories and thrills for the kiddies, and occasional thrills for the adults. Sure it's no Cedar Point, it wasn't meant to be. It was meant to be somewhere where everyone can find something they like.
  2. I think it's cool that they have Sundays set aside for families who cannot take their children into the Fear side of FearFest.
  3. Yay! I haven't rode Delirium, because I think it would make my stomach sick. (I get queasy pretty easily...) It's always sad to see a ride sitting there broken though, so yay. Especially you big Delirium fans, have fun riding!
  4. Nice pictures, lots of cool techniques are used.
  5. It was open when I went with my friend on July 24th.
  6. You have a point there TRTR Guy. A new ride has lots of maintence, especially something with that much theming. It takes propane to run the fire, that costs money. It costs money to use the water effects, and using LIMs isn't the cheapest thing ever. They have maintence problems. The crew I think is about the same as the 'Tiques crew in number, but I don't really pay attention. Anyways the 'Tiques and the Flyers were always fun and they're a part of PKI memories. But I've grown fond of IJ. I don't like it as much as the Flyers or the 'Tiques, but at least it's something semi-fun that almost everyone in the family can ride. I would love the 'Tiques back even if they were re-themed as well as the Flyers.
  7. I agree with all of that Kat.
  8. I don't like Yogi's SkyTours. But Vortex is my least favorite. I came off with a killer headache. Then I had Dippin' Dots and ice cream is my pain reliver *sp?* for after 'Tex.
  9. Let's see... 2.5 hours for MF, 1.5 hours for FoF, about 1 hour for DZ, and 2.5 hours for SoB.
  10. Yeah, have fun at Six Flags. As for me KI is my home park and my favorite. It feels like a home away from home for me. And a week or two after the park closes I want to go ride the rides.
  11. Wow. I couldn't imagine that. (Having cannons pointed right at you) I'm goin' with my friend this Sunday and we're riding that.
  12. Umm.... I've never really been stuck on a ride. I've been stapled bad on The Racer and an Op. had come and get it. This also happened on The Beast and SOB. Also once I was riding The Beast with my sis, and our lap bars wouldn't open. They almost sent us around the course twice, which of course it would've been fun, but not right to the people who were in line for our seat. So I flagged down an Op. and he used this tool thing to get us out.
  13. I haven't been able to ride that one this year, but I will this Sunday.
  14. I've never rode SOB in the rain, but I've rode Big Bad Wolf at BGW in it. I had to keep my eyes closed the whole ride. I guess it wouldn't have mattered since it was the night, but still. However on Two for Tuesday once my sister and I rode Drop Zone twice in a row in the rain. We were the only two on the ride at the time. It got our legs soaked.
