Why is the park making something so simple - so difficult?

Never thought it should have closed.

No, it's not a matter of opposing sides. I don't think that anyone is saying that a person smoking is not harmful to them. It just appears that the second hand smoke jury is still out. I tend to look at all the facts before I just to any conclusion.

Yes, I realize the reason being given. I don't hold it to be valid though. Winterfest had never been an added price for season pass holders. In fact, they usually allowed you in if you were a new pass holder buying your pass during Winterfest. Part of the thing that makes Winterfest enjoyable is having it busy. I can tell you that there are going to be week nights that they're only going to get a couple thousand people. You know that even with only part of the park open, a couple thousand make for a very empty park.

That was really just an iPod. He didn't want to tell ya that he was jammin while ya'll were running.

My question is when are they going to come up with little booths for people that wear cologne and perfume that is harsh. That really iritates me some times.

OK, when I used to supervise Ice Cream Shoppe on International Street - the supervisor of Pizza and I used to watch lightning hit the tower and Vortex during storms. Was kinda cool. (Although no one was hurt.)

I don't think anyone is disputing that these may be irritants to you. I can certainly sympatise with you. But being someone that is so hyper-sensitive to allergens, how do you walk from the parking lot with the emitions? Never met one that had refused. And yes, I have asked someone to refrain from doing so. No, I just find it to be a non issue. As I have said, yes, I think that it should not be allowed in que lines and such, but I do not see any logical reason to restrict it in the open.

Season Pass Holder's don't get free admission to Winterfest? WOW! That's Harsh!

In the past, I remember only two or three times that the park was at capacity for Winterfest. I think it's going to be busy, but I don't think it'll sell out. But all the more important - do ya think that FOF will be open? <G>

Yup, the only thing that I would agree on is not smoking in the que lines or the lines for food. It's too cramped and uncomfortable. Otherwise, I think that it really is a non issue.

Personally, I'm not excited about people walking around and smoking cigarettes at the park or out doors. But honestly, it's out doors, and it's never been much of a problem. Pleople just need to suck some things up and not be such wusses. <G>

What ever happened to the tower cam. How come it was taken down?

Ya really need to make a trip to Kennywood. I've been to the park several times. The first time I went I was not expecting much as I had never heard a lot about it. I was absolutely floored by the maintenance, the creativity and cleanliness and calibre' of rides that they have. Top off that the do have great attractions and coasters, they also have some very old traditional rides that are higher maintenance than many of the newer ones.

Have you been to Kennywood recently?

They could call it "Mother of Beast!" I can see it now - the promotions: Only One Lady Can Lift You Up Like This One Can. Only One Lady Can Take You This Low and Make You Groan. Only One Lady Can Make You Scream With Fear and Excitement. And She's a B tch! Mother of Beast - Only at Paramount's Kings Island.
