Right now it's not as much the track as it is the economy. Even if Six is on the right track and even if CF gets back on the right track, the economy may not be so forgiving.

No one could seriously suggest that Cedar Fair would leave the Paramount logo in place. However the new sign should have been something other than regular block lettering whose font hardly matches the rest of the theater's design. Why not include a Kings Island or Cedar Fair logo in some way? If any thought or budget had gone into the project other than a reflexive "remove all the Paramount stuff" they would have taken the time to remove all of the Toyota logos, too. Looks to me like they used Neon Lettering in the new sign. If they were trying to get by cheaply they certainly would not have made them Neon.

Do you know how much it cost to get that graffiti done. They got 2 or 3 pros to do it. It wont come down. Why don't you enlighten us then? Most cities can tell you how much it costs to fix the vandalism that "Graffiti Artists" do.

I don't get what Karen was getting at in this quote. Did she mean that she's afraid that KI won't cater towards families, or that she's afraid that she'll loose the family-style fraternization that she had with the employees? Seems that she's saying that she's not certain she's going to like it but that she's going to presume that she will not? Certainly not the way to go into the season if she thinks so dearly about the park. Is that coasterwmn?

They're putting in some type of new attraction. It's not been announced yet. Stay tuned for further details.

Maybe it's because people on these forums expect not to be fed spin and hype. Most are adults and expect the facts. I don't think that the park or the marketing director earn a lot of respect by showing a decal/logo and billing it as the second, or third coming.

Do you know how much it cost to get that graffiti done. They got 2 or 3 pros to do it. It wont come down. How much it costs? Someone in the sign shop painting the side of the building. Cost = Nothing. I'm certain it will be painted and then repainted.

Well, if we are to believe that there really is a concentration on Nostalgia (as we've been fed/told) we may see a return to more specific theming.
