  1. No doubt just think a big park between Louisville, and Nashville could do a new Kingdom, where they own the land, they the investors private or public make it happen. If KK does not make it hopefully Kings Island could buy back the shoe ride!
  2. Its sad to say about Kentucky Kingdom, but I also must say a lot of their failures is the land they sit on, between Nashville / Louisville there seems to be a great need for a Park. Dealing with the KY State Fair Board has to be hard indeed. To the hopes of continued building, operating, or a new buyer that maybe just gets to buy the land and build their own parking lot?
  3. Great TR thanks. to many more enjoyable years at Camden.
  4. Seems to me days are numbered for Cedar Fair to have Stand Ups almost like Six's removal of traditional classic wooden wonders of a coaster. What I do think is interesting is the true and great possibility of a simple principle of the three R's reuse, recycle, and re-purpose.
  5. Interesting thought could they add a launch to it, re-profile some of the ride, and add a dark element to it for thrill seekers, where, you go through a slow dark ride, and then get blasted through a tunnel to the outside, a human can dream, the new guy in charge is a Disney guy! Plus Cedar Point is the Flagship the mother load of all that is Cedar Fair, the #1 park in America...
  6. Interesting thoughts? Poll of questions ? Future of Wooden Coasters?
  7. For the Island seemed to remember a Sponge Bob Car wash/ tique type ride, and the other thoughts above were awesome of what could have been. I know right now Disney is trying to get Marvel, and Star Wars in the parks, so awesome! But yes this over Son of Beast would rocked:
  8. Something to Ponder is this the future of WOOD coasters, could The Beast, could The Racer get this Iron Horse treatment, just think Holiday World? Will we still have classic wooden coasters, the Iron Horse treatment has to be better for maintenance and upkeep. https://www.sixflags.com/magicmountain/attractions/twisted-colossus/classic-colossus
  9. https://www.sixflags.com/magicmountain/attractions/twisted-colossus/facts Its interesting at Magic Mountain:
  10. Loving the thoughts on Coney Mall:
  11. Love the amount of rides, and some what theme they are adding, love the two justice league rides for sure.
  12. The rides/ attractions that never showed up at Disney World, even an East Coast Matterhorn, which today is only at the Anaheim park. Made me think of all the parks out there that had dreamed up attractions that never came to be built. http://www.themeparktourist.com/features/20140520/18103/15-incredible-walt-disney-world-attractions-youll-never-get-ride-any-why?page=2
  13. Hopefully a coaster one of these years!
  14. But a well ran well dedicated themed area of the park, would rock. Imagine taking Star Trek Land, Hunger games? Well known, themed land. Now my opinion it would not happen at Kings Island. I feel Kings Island is serving its purpose, of good clean fun to the Greater Cincinnati area and beyond. As did Coney Island up to 1971.
