Yes I liked the one at Union Terminal, but I hear the one at the Junction is so much more detailed. Also who knows in 50 to 100 years what today's Coney will look like? A blast from the past I can only hope:

Interesting about Elitch Gardens read up on it. I have to agree most parks are not right in downtown areas/ or busy parts. They have to make the new kingdom family friendly. Did not know about the capital investments either hope those rise as how can any park survive unless it will be lots of flat/ water park slide additions.

Could you imagine with this type of dark ride, a very easy way to change up the park, and add the whole family of fun in the process. Like summer with family dark ride to a Halloween horror at night during the Haunt:

So the lost river would totally rock indeed at Coney mall. Anybody that did get the chance to ride the original was the inside full of characters and such and was the lift hill at the end? etc. But would be a great ride to add indeed.

I just don't see the beach doing this anytime soon, My opinion is that Kings Island/ Cedar Fair has a better chance. Plus Cedar Fair thanks to Knotts knows some what how to get it back on track for WINTERFEST:

My opinion this is in fact the last chance for the Kingdom. Of course that is just my two cents worth of the day: Plus dealing with the fair board all the time could be the final nail in the coffin if the Kingdom don't get back up its numbers. My hope is it will be one of the best parks in the Mid west.

Great organizational idea, but it seems maybe the park could come up with a unique way to make this happen, especially for a repainting that for sure is needed, and maybe for a refurbished Coney Mall.

Incredible, additions plus they will make camp snoopy incredible, more in tune like Kings Island. Hopefully KI could add a 2nd dark ride keep one shootem up and a nice slow relaxing dark ride addition. Knotts and all the Cedar Fair parks seem to be doing incredible strides in rides, renovations, additions. Good for knotts being so close to disneyland.

Good for KY kingdom the parks website looks great, the new coaster is great, it will be a great year in the Midwest: With the point, the island, and the kingdom plus a true tested ride at the world for a pirate ship. I also like that the eagles have landed at the Kingdom for 2013 and the tallest water slide! good for them!

I just eventually see somewhere near the Coney/Belterra (i still want to say River Downs) complex a hotel of some sort maybe even part family resort? It could work so well.

I do wish Vegas had a Kings Island nearby but there is only 1 and love that park. However we are fortunate to be 4 hrs (drive time away from the west coast incredible parks including Knotts).
