How About: the Farenheith Ride from Hershey Park Kings Island needs something like that:
-
What Vegas Needs is a real true amusement park 4 hrs to La? thats not bad of a drive I guess thats why Vegas Cannot get a true pay one price park. Yep What I understand is most of the coasters are on the way out at Vega$ they were kind of the fad of 80's early 90's family fun Vegas . About Caesars wow Indiana it would be great to have a mall etc. around Caesars Caesars vegas is great!!!! No coaster will happen though!!! Also Ky Could Get Casinos??? or Racinos:

What is Kings Island REALLY going to get?
westcoaster replied to familyguyfun1's topic in Coming Attractions
Sit down restraunt ? Where did that come from and an add on of Boomerang Bay already?? -
If they would have kept some of these around for future generations with rights to use them: that would have been great

westcoaster replied to AintNutinElse2Do's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Country Music Capital of the world Deserves a great park, it was still wrong to knock down Opryland, but Nashville will get something!! -
great ride it was , and Kings Island needs a nother great family Water Ride:
-
I'm saying similar to maverick , but its own elements and much smoother: Also getting back on track No one will build a looping woody again, also we should look to past success of coasters gone by to build the next great wooden coaster:
-
Agreed no one including Cedar Fair will ever build a looping woody. I also feel that future wooden coasters will be more like voyage, and be steel super structures with wood running on top of it. Also the best thing Cedar Fair could do for Kings Island is buy all the blue prints for the Shooting Star and build it it was the best coaster in cincinnati, and people still say even better than The Beast. buy a copy of coney island the dvd at Coney and look at that coaster wow. Its a great dvd indeed: but Kings Islands next coaster will be like maverick maybe longer and very gentle: steel coaster;

Theres no Way Guega Lake is losing another coaster to Kings Island. And if Kings Island keeps building , maybe we'll become a resort, with our own hotel and all. I would love to see a new coaster, but wow a coaster a year incredible? The sad thing though is this the end for Guega Lake???

Knights inn was cheap clean even transports to Cedar Point very good breakfast even waffles! And Ride Maverick first (longest line), for sure it was a great coaster. Enjoy the trip

Great day at stricker grove. The corn and the food Was Excellent as always. The rides were all going great, I rode the COASTERS quite a bit they rocked as always. The electric rainbow ( Think from lesourdsville) Was running great, and so joyful to ride. And i did'nt have to go to Carolina, to get in the flying scooter IT was great!!! Also 2 bad notes the train and the dumbo ride was down. And tragic While at the park they had to set up in the parking lot air care landing spots for a big wreck on the main roadway (more on the news at 11 all the news stations were out in full force out that way for the tragic injuries. But Back on good notes a well kept classic midway with a great big Coaster and a remake of Teddy Bear from Coney Island hey dey. They have a great carousel , with a great drum and organ set. Great classic kiddy rides. Its such a nice place to go If you ever get a chance the food is great the rides are good , try it out: Great day at the Grove:

This ride sounds great, Sounds like a great new water ride, and very interactive. Way to go Dolly wood: So now the question is ? Dollywood the Water ride capital of the world??? Jul. 19th, 2007 -- Via Press Release - A battle is brewing in Dollywood’s Timber Canyon area as work begins on River Battle, the theme park’s new water adventure ride set to open in 2008. The $5 million River Battle is a themed water raft ride equipped with powerful soaker guns. Nine rafts, each with room for eight passengers, follow a 500-foot channel. As the rafts navigate the waters, the battle begins as passengers, each armed with a soaker gun, take aim at each other and more than 100 targets along the way, including large-scale “talking animals”—beavers, skunks, otters, bears and more. Some of the targets shoot back while others display a variety of special effects, creating surprises at every turn and ensuring that no two rides are ever exactly the same. River Battle also engages park guests along the ride’s banks. While rafters are soaking each other in raft-to-raft sparring, they also can “shoot” observers along the way in “raft-to-shore” fun. In the park’s ongoing effort to provide opportunities to bring families closer, River Battle is yet another ride addition that allows parents and children to ride together. “When I was a kid, me and my brothers and sisters used to sneak away and start up a river battle of our own, but I never dreamed that kind of childhood fun would end up creating a great ride like my new River Battle,” Dolly Parton said. With an hourly ride capacity of 800 passengers, River Battle will be located just beyond Dollywood’s Mystery Mine steel coaster, which was just named 2007 Best New Attraction by www.themeparkinsider.com. The project also includes a new 750-foot walkway that provides a direct route to the park’s Craftsman’s Valley area from Timber Canyon. The new connector represents the largest earthworks project since the Dollywood Express train’s track bed was completed in 1960. The connector project entails moving 170,000 cubic yards of soil and rocks—the equivalent of 8,500 truck loads. “The addition of River Battle continues to expand on the award-winning attractions we offer in the Timber Canyon area,” said Ken Bell, Senior Vice-President. “In addition to creating a fun new ride for our guests, we will improve the flow of traffic as guests will be able to access two vital areas of our park via the new connector.” Dollywood is a 130-acre family adventure park in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Open nine months a year (March 31-Dec. 30), Dollywood offers more than 40 rides and attractions; award-winning live entertainment featuring country, bluegrass, gospel and mountain music; and a dozen crafters authentic to the East Tennessee region. For more information, call 1-800-DOLLYWOOD or visit www.dollywood.com. Operating days and hours vary.

Columbus Zoo Names Water Park
westcoaster replied to CoasterXtreme's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
It sounds like a trip up North is in order next year!! YEH!! Sounds like the park will be so much fun: -
It could be the best marriage in years. Disney owning Kings Island and they would really have a great deal of the amusement industry: It makes sense if they did it:
-
I've heard he's building a camp ground: and keeping the eagle, the log flume(that rocks) and the carousel and the whip . Everything else is for sale or will be scrapped:

Cedar Fair looking for buyer
westcoaster replied to PhantomTheater's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Crazy Maybe it will remain Cedar Fair and just be bought out to a private firm. That seems like today's thing to do private equity firms buying up public companies: We' shall see , Hopefully we just see Kings Island grow and grow either way: -
Krazy City Theme Park Coming To Cincinnati Early 2008
westcoaster replied to Airromeo4Ever's topic in KI Polls
I'm for one Excited about the new park at the old Penney's building the website is great. Also about americana some of you talked to Jerry , is there a chance he could let people ride the best two rides around the coaster the screechin eagle and the best log flume ever!! That log flume had a tunnel and even rapids and everything: But I thought now he was keeping the big rides and the land and going back to making it a camp ground(look at history of the park that's how it all started....) Oh well I know it was'nt his fault for the loss of the park that was for sure: And just to think Cincinnati is becoming a hot bed for family fun the sharonville indoor water park will be open soon too! This is great stuff; and coney island cincinnati opened my favorite ride this year the ROCKO PLANE love those things; -
WORST RIDE: Kings Island: Hands down is the action theatre:
