Before or after your stay? Terp, who just HAD to (and who recommends the Roof in Sharonville or Blue Ash (but not the Beechmont one...)...either of those two are much quieter than the one in Mason... Terpy is right on this, the one on Beechmont is a place to go if you have a crack addiction. ha... I stayed there once and it was horrible! My experience is the front seat of any coaster is the smoothest. And the older I get all woodies are rough...lol

Paramount was not that bad as has been portrayed in threads on this issue. Now compare it to the other owners then maybe so but it was not the pig sty everyone says it was. there was a trash can last night across from the potato works that was over flowing pretty bad.

Everyone is not. I get accused of being gay because of my entertainment background and the fact I am a hair dresser however I am not, when I made that comment in the beginning of this thread about seeing two men making out on red shirt day as it was called back then is because it was weird. My oldest son is gay and I am very proud of him. And it isn't the norm around here. As time passes it will be more acceptable.

I agree brown it was an awesome sight to see, I miss those days also, I usually just go back to Paramount days for the fact a lot of members were not even born back in those days...lol

Even though that picture is unsettling I still miss Paramount and so wish it was still in their hands.

I have good intentions of looking at this fountain every time I go, but it slips my mind. Will make a better effort next time.

The single pouches you can get anywhere. And small so you can shove a few in your pocket

I just spoke with Kaitlyn from PR just a few minutes ago and you can bring food into the park if you have specific dietary needs but that has to be approved by GR. But the powdered drink pouches are allowed to be brought into the park.

I believe mine was the The Jumbo Jet at CP, or was it named the Corkscrew? I do not remember.

A good thing to get is those little drink mix pouches. They take up little to no space and you just add to water and instant drink. They have them in all flavors.

Yes most venues charge outlandish prices on food and drink for sure. I suppose no matter how much they charge they will always sell drinks at KI. Maybe that is the thought behind the pricing strategy. I spend a lot of money at the park through out any given season I would spend more if the drinks were 2 bucks a sale instead of 4.

Yes smaller business owners have a hard time with this. Back in the day they used to load cups by hand with ice and soft drinks.

Exactly shark, there is no effort to get soda to the customers. Ice machines do break down but even when they do there are alternatives. I was an officer for a McDonald's chain where I ran four out of 10 stores. Ice machines always went down but other strategies would take over as a back up. Of course KI is a business and it is their right to charge whatever however it shows how they put the screws to their customers. Takes a lot of money to run a park but I think 4 bucks for a soda is pushing it a bit. That was my question, what is so hard about getting drinks to customers? maybe cause they have to lift a box up onto a rack? maybe cause you have to change over CO2 or pressure hoses? Just do not understand this.

If it is geared towards kids that would be wonderful. I will be there tomorrow evening and I will check these out. I love a good mystery.
