if you could have anything you wanted added to the park, what would it be? It's actually something that I am having trouble deciding on. I would really like a Millenium Force style coaster, but I think some new rides to the waterpark could be cool as well. some big uphill water slides could help bring more interest to Boomerang Bay. I was curious on any ideas you guys (or girls!) had.

I agree! I always enjoyed the intensity. but I did have some friends who didn't enjoy it as well. hopefully they can do something to keep it up to keep the skyline too, SOB is a staple of KI if it can be running well

It may just be my personal opinion, but I ride The Beast about once a week, and I don't think it is anything painful. Has always felt about the same, even better when they redid some parts of the track over the past few years. Don't get me wrong, still an overall shaky ride, but thats what I expect out of The Beast and its nothing to the point of being bad

there is the Kings Island Resort, not sure if that is the same thing. It's located right next to the movie theater across the street and is still open. lol they had a "Reptile Show" this weekend

agreed! I feel like it was a great ride back then, but a lot of people still did not respect it. sadly I know exactly what you mean pretty interesting ideas. and I guess it the only option would be to change/remove what is there, if goodyellowkorn is right that they are doing all they can to prevent problems

I rode The Crypt yesterday while in the park, and while I love how they have the themeing, I feel like the ride is pretty lame and not as intense as it was/could be. It rotates slowly and isn't very fast overall (besides the ride time ) Couldn't they reprogram something better? I know I am not the only one who thinks this and it has been this way for a while.

Just wanted to share a picture from Sunday. I think they should re-route the line back through there for some more effect. even if it would be more walking distance. This is a good step, although I find it to be barely much. I guess I will always miss the good old days of walking through the Top Gun pictures and whatnot

ended up just heading to the park to buy my season pass today. total was $130. ($100 for the season pass + $30 for parking) parking was originally $40, but they took $10 off when I showed them my receipt for paying $10 parking today.

I am wanting to buy a season pass soon. are their any deals out there besides the ones listed on the KI site? I know Meijer used to sell passes. Also, does anyone know when they begin to do the deal where you can buy next years season pass, but use it this season too?

I dont think it was the exact theme from 2001 A Space Odyssey but it was something close. I agree though it was pretty BA. unfortunately I did not get to ride as it was closed due to "weather" at about 10PM when I was in line. it never even rained! but they let everyone in line ride either The Beast or Firehawk. just had to tell the guy at the line that you were from WindSeeker. cant go wrong with The Beast in the dark

yea i was working ActionBlast today, and saw SoB test run for a while, the trains were red...looked pretty good, hopefully this means it will open soon!

yea, i go to ki alot, and if u had to wait at least a half hour for a ride, the park was pretty crowded compared to normal im glad to see that though, id hope Firehawk boosts the park up in the world

It is usualy made of some sort of cloth and can come in a variaty of colors and designs on the front or back. baseball all day sat, but I am planning to make a run to it after my early shift on sunday!

will Firehawk be open on friday, saturday or sunday?? i keep hearing "memorial day weekend" but i havent heard the exact day.....and i also heard SOB will open with Firehawk this weekend....that would be nice!

i think they should somehow make it a cool place with like a restraunt....something that would be cool at night for teens and adults.
