  1. ^^Umm..looks like a foot or so away from the track to me. And no worries, RR, like I said, your track record has been excellent in my book!
  2. What are you doing to lose the weight?? It sounds like you're moving right along smoothly! The only advice I could offer is the common sense stuff of making the work out's a little harder if you're working out, or cutting back a little more on the sweets and junk food. But FYI, you're more than fine to fit D-back, and any ride at CP even if you ask me. Though, El Toro and Bizzaro (aka S:ROS) might still be tough.
  3. I'm not quite sure I'm buying those dimensions that you're selling, but alright...assuming we are talking about the same fence here, and acknowledging that RR is a learned individual when it comes to coasters.
  4. ^^In all seriousness, the D-back trim status remains up in the air. B-moth and D-back were designed a wee differently than any other B&M hyper! While many reported some trimming on B-moth, I experienced very little in many rides and it was nothing like Goliath or Raging Bull. I'm optimistic in cooler weather (like April) the impact will be minor. But time will tell.
  5. The fence is just another deterent to keep wandering park guests off the track. Hopefully if someone does wander out that way, the multiple fences give the ride opps enough time to notice a park guest and to shut the ride down. Well, at such a tiny height, that fence isn't deterring anyone!
  6. Speak for yourself...yesterday at work flew by, then last night I spent 3 hours figuring out corp. tax stuff (including a major break-through, thankfully!), and my little Excel To-Do list for work has 18 "Do Now" items...these next 19 days will be going by ridiculously fast!!
  7. Thanks fellow CP/MF fanatic. I am exhausted from work and appreciate someone thinking for me. And besides, Giga, if you get right back in line after the First Ride auction you'll undoubtedly still be under a 10,000th rider!! I can't confirm sizes, but even for a 3 hour wait they'd still have 5,000+ shirts left. And besides all of that, I would think an auction First Rider will get a shirt anyway. Also, looking at the Blog, I finally now know what Erin looks like!!
  8. ^^To each their own, but I find boomerangs decently fun. It was the 2nd most ridden coaster by me and my g/f at Darien Lake last summer (other than of course Superman), and it was a legitimate blast!! Surprisingly smooth, comfy, no wait, no headbanging issues for us, and doing the loop and cobra roll in reverse is pretty fun! Mind you, after doing Hersheypark's boomer I got off it thinking, "F*ck that ride!" It was a rough, POS, headbanging mess and nothing like DL. But if they're smooth, they can be a lot of fun, particular if there's no waiting to ride.
  9. ^^Headbanging is not my prob on Vortex, as RR said, it's the 'throwing your body around inside the car' part! Removing or keeping the OTSR's wouldn't do a whole lot for me.
  10. Yeah, I agree...I dunno who this Allen guy is, but as George from Seinfeld would say, "You wanna get nuts?! Let's get nuts!!" I mean, this is approaching owning your own Chick-fil-a franchise money now!! And btw, if they're still around and reading this, GoldenPalace.com (online casino) if you bid me the very front seat on the 1st train, I'm willing to sport the GP.com tat as the rider!!
  11. ^^Haha...awesome!! But time is always a weird thing when you try to quantify it, you know?!
  12. Time is passing now crazy fast!! And between finishing my tax filings (owning an LLC is fun, kids!), work being crazy busy (thanks crappy economy for laying off half my d*mn dept!), and family coming in for Easter...before I even blink next I'll be in KI's parking lot April 18th! If I could seriously put the brakes on time now I would!! But wow...550+ days just like that gone by!! (since the 07 land clearing and First Drop article) That's some crazy sh#@!!
  13. ^^Hopefully the weather is better for D-back!! My cosmic hunch is feeling positive, fortunately, right now!
  14. ^^Yes, but as Terpy has pointed out, all the merch in the world means nothing if popular sizes aren't available and the designs suck! I saw some pretty good stuff for Behemoth, so I remain hopeful! However, other than that first D-back shirt last year, I thought the others after that were meh in design...
  15. ^^True...their Superman goes down for at least an hour on most days from what I've heard.
  16. Been away from KIC a few days, but good thing this promise was made post-Two Face!!
  17. From reading an article during when it was filming...the feel of the flick screamed Direct-to-DVD to me!!
  18. My only dilemma with this trip is...the prior two weekends I'll be at KI (weather permitting), and then the next weekend I'll be at KI as well (RWW)...translation...a break will likely need to be in order!!
  19. ^^Ouch...sorry to hear that. Thankfully all my KK rides have been via FP. As I've told Terpy, I don't even know how to get in KK's regular queue?! And btw, if memory serves, TTD usually has a lot of lights on the drop where as KK had few.
  20. ^^I was thinking Ka as well...a lot darker than TTD.
  21. ^^Are you going to the private event? If so, stuff me in a duffle bag, please!! OR you can stand on my shoulders, and we'll wear one big trench coat!
  22. ^^Yeah, you're probably right...I mean, if we can't change SOB's wait time sign, then why bother with anything else!?
