^^Yeah, last year Behemoth frequently ran in the rain if it was light and there was no lightning threat. I asked a CW ride op about this, and he claimed CW wasn't as strict that season as they were the year prior. However, riding Behemoth in the rain was NOT fun! It felt like legitimate tiny ice daggers! Interestingly how the flat Sledgehammer ran even when the rain was pouring!! As Terpy has pointed out before, CF's knee-jerking ride closing due to rain was not nearly as strict in 08 as it was in 07 post-Magnum's accident, generally speaking.

^^Haven't the science geeks been claiming that the on-board audio is what's killing that coaster's smoothness?? I never made it to HRP last year, but I know on many a TR the claim was LZ was unusually rough for a Beemer.

^^I believe on the Rex and The Beast podcast with Don, which was very First Ride Auction-centric, Don was claiming that if you were getting into the park that day with other means (i.e. a "Season's Pass") that you could save the ticket for a future visit and give it to someone else. However, better clarity as always would be appreciated on this issue!

If I hit the powerball this weekend, I will rent the park out for a day and you are all invited....LOL! As will I if I win! And CP too!!

Renewed yes, processed, no. I apologize, but I'm still a little confused...I was under the impression last year Giga had a Platinum Pass, correct? So last fall starting at like the beginning of Oct the claim was that if you had an 08 PP and wanted to renew that for 09 that no processing was necessary, and that your processing for an 08-to-09 PP renewal was the renewal purchase itself, which I believe Giga did this like the 1st or 3rd week of October. So this is why I am confused since if Giga renewed her 08 PP last Oct. 18th there shouldn't have been an 09 PP processing necessary? I mean, I know at least Jackson, Terpy, and Avatar are all in this same boat here.

I believe Tape worms or the other kinds of IB worms all come will bad stomach pain, which I don't have. I mean, as someone who knew a friend of a friend who had one, the girl did lose weight, but also needed intestinal surgery afterwards...not worth the trade-off in my book!! The people with the genetically gifted fast metabolism (like gigacoaster!) and some of my other friends are a lucky breed, indeed!! I mean, eating what you want, not working out, and still staying thin!? Wowza!! (that still doesn't protect you from high cholestorol or clogged arteries, btw)

The three biggest highlights I heard: 1. Rivertown has some big makeovers (no surprise), BUT there are some details KI is keeping under wraps and has thus far successfully managed to keep secret! (as someone who's rarely intrigued, this intrigues me!) 2. You can BUY season passes in addition to processing them in the days the SP center is open pre-4/18...not breaking news, but still newer news. 3. Big emphasis on how good the most recently announced country show in Festhaus is supposed to be.

I hope you're not talking about the 19th!? Assuming not, you could process a little before the park opens so long as the parking tolls are open and you're on the KI grounds with peeps waiting to still get in.

No SF parks for me yet, unfortunately! Work's been too busy, plus, with KI trips the weekends of the 17th, 24th, and May 8th (with some CP'ing the weekends following that), as crazy as this sounds, that's just too much coastering!! I need a little more "real life" stuff too...oh yeah, as the cynic and skeptic that I am, usually the park's beginning of the season operations suck! But for KI I'll make an exception!

What's crazy about your post, Pike, is that I can commonly lose 10-15 lbs. in one week with heavy working out each day!! Though, as a heavy water drinker, I think part of that is usually water weight. What's interesting is due to being busy I haven't hit up the Mason Lifetime Fitness in a while, yet my metabolism has fortunately been crazy fast the past few weeks. I hope that continues!! (or it's not some tape worm! )
