Note to The Vortex, Flight Deck, Beast, and Racer crews (FoF don't count cause he's right about the bad capacity)....tigellinus just called you guys out! On the contrary!! I said *averse* meaning it's almost not possible to have bad operations due to the capacity and ride operation design. SoB just has bad capacity, Firehawk is Firehawk, but Invertigo, Delirium, BLSC (and even Crypt while I'm at it) sometimes have operations that are less than desired.

^^Yeah, I knew about that. What's funny is I've *only* ridden KK via Flash Pass, and honestly, I don't even know how to get to the entrance queue?? In fact, at the exit, I've only turned right and I'm guessing the entrance is to the left of the exit/Kodak booth. However, on my most recent KK ride I looked to the right on the ascent (my favorite thing to do on TTD now), and I saw what looked like some adjacent (but not directly attached) queue "hut" of dozens of rails together, but covered by a roof, and I'm guessing that was Ka's queue?! The scary part was, it wasn't that busy that day, yet that "hut" looked entirely full!! -
^^The only point he has is that lines for most other coasters will be shorter...however, it's mostly the coasters with bad capacity and operations that will improve. I see lines for Vortex, Flight Deck, Beast, Racer, and maybe FoF (all coasters that are mostly bad operations/bad capacity averse) as staying similar to your normal, not crazy busy days nowadays. But Invertigo, Delirium, SOB, Firehawk, and BLSC all having shorter lines next year! (at least that was the trend I noticed at Canada's Wonderland).

Wow!! RailRider dropping some pretty insightful knowledge today!! (and I'm completely genuine when I say that! ) And btw, as for the size perspective, for me the litmus test is more at a distance...I mean, personally, standing on Perimeter Road and looking up, I don't even think that Millennium Force looks that tall!! BUT...the further out you go (like even the queue) the more you start to appreciate the size. The only coaster that legitimately has looked massively tall to me standing beneath it is TTD!! (or Kingda Ka, but you can't get as intimate with KK save for barely with the parking lot). -

^^Just to confirm, Maverick never had a pine tree, correct?? Also, does this mean Behemoth had a Canadian flag when it was topped off?? Hopefully the lack of pine tree isn't any sort of insult to the coaster Gods, but I don't think it will be a big deal... -

Fellow Landen Falls resident?? -
^^I'd say go for it then! Just don't skimp on the pictures!!
-
^^Probably true that 2005 was ages ago for comparison purposes...either way, that was the only baseline I had.
-
^^Ouch.... Bitter, party of one, your table's now ready...

^^Without question I think it will be the 2nd best flyer out there...but similarly to The Beast's layout hidden in the woods being it's special touch, Tatsu's special touch of it's layout hugging the mountain and going up and down it just cannot be beat! -
^^Do you mean, like, the first post with trip details/commentary, and then the subsequent post (in the same TR thread) containing the pics??
-
^^Completely agree about Maverick's first drop!! Not necessarily. I'd say Phantom's Revenge at Kennywood is the best steel I've ever ridden... totally beats out Millennium and Dragster. Never say "Ever", Diamondback looks pretty sweet. Maybe I need some 'Media Day convincing'!?!
-
^^Completely agreed!!! BUT...taller and steeper does mean more thrilling, and thus more apt for "challenging" one's self.

Ummmm....NO!!!!!!!!!!! Agreed...that plus Rip Rocket will make for some good coaster riding in O-town next year! -
^^And to think...even LESS can fit on El Toro AND Superman: Ride of Steel!!! Now that is a travesty!!
-
^^Likely...I'm getting quickly burned out of the Intamin rockets and Euro-fighters!! My point of contention is the "challenge yourself" part...maybe if D-back was taller and steeper, but otherwise D-back should mostly be a great fun ride that puts a huge smile on your face! Nothing like MF or TTD...

^^Ooooo....good point!! Too bad I need to head back early for the Colts-Patriots game!!

"Rather quickly"="Lift hill almost complete" from a couple weeks ago?!? -
And btw, closing day on Sunday, Nov. 6th 2005 was not very busy AND with weather better than this upcoming Sunday, so who knows??
-
^^Actually, you'd be an hour early, right?! If you never changed your clock, then 11:00 am (open time) on Sunday for you would actually be 10:00 am for the rest of the world!! So that's showing up an hour early, which would be a good thing!!

All I know is NOW first drop degree angle should be legitimately confirmed!!! Again...not that I'm doubting it.
