Power Tower

I always thought Diamondback never had the B&M roar, even when it opened. The only time it roars is when it flies down the first drop over the midway.

MONTU! My number 1 inverted! This is probably how the lift on Banshee will look. They will not leave a gap where someone could fall during an evacuation. That depends on who "they" is. B&M may not do that, but Cedar Fair might. See Flight Deck at Canada's Wonderland.I understand that it is a Paramount era ride, but had Cedar Fair been concerned about a platform being present under the lift, I'm sure one would have been added somehow. But that Flight Deck is a Vekoma not B&M.

I see three cranes and a boom lift. The orange and tan one is the boom lift. It can have a basket( for a person to stand in) or forks (to lift heavy equipment/parts) attached to it. Boom lifts scare the crap out of me when they sway a little (use to work in construction for a while).

That's how Patriot's lift hill at Worlds of Fun was built. See picture:

In order to build the loop around the lift , do you think they'll build the bottom half of the vertical loop first? Then attach the lift hill track, and followed up by topping off the loop?

It's probably hidden behind the trees behind Slingshot.

I'm glad the park is going to add the graveyard and fog (at night) throughout the course. Can't wait to see what that'll look like next year.

Just checked the webcam, and looks like Banshee has arrived at the park. Wahoo!!!

My favorites are Diamondback and The Beast. I have a feeling Banshee will join those 2 next year as well.

This should be played for those on Facebook that don't like the whole "evil" persona of the name.

According to Cedar Point's Twitter page the park is working on improving Gatekeeper's restraints. So maybe we'll get a better upgrade improvement for ours.

I hope the park stands their ground and keeps the name. This world is so politically correct, that it's getting annoying.

The thing that gets me, is that there are people on the park's Facebook page complaining about the name again, because of the rumors with the whole Mantis name change. To me I like the name, logo, and the theme to this awesome new B&M inverted coaster.

Anything by Midnight Syndicate. We used their music when my brothers and I did a haunted house for the trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood during Halloween.

Personally I don't like the way things are going. Seems so much like paramount IMO. I don't see his plans for anything thrilling and exciting. So what are Banshee and Gatekeeper, kiddie rides? Those are not "thrilling" to him since they're not Intamin coasters. Did you forget about that, SonofBaconator?
