I'm not worried about the renderings not being 100% accurate; I actually love the way they are. I was just hoping to figure out exactly how the triangular footers would be used, as well as the large square footers. I read pretty much every page of the "Decoding 2014" thread and have always been intrigued with how these footers would be used. I do hope though the maintenance building next to the AZ restrooms will be hidden somehow though. Seems like an eyesore for those riding Banshee. Maybe it won't be so bad since it will be on the other side of the station. Edit. I'm not whining or complaining, by the way, regarding anything Banshee related. The hiding of the maintenance shed simply appears to me as a potential area of improvement. I apologize for the reaction I gave. It's just a pet peeve I have. Anyways here's where the triangular and rectangular footings should be. The easiest way, I think, to compare the large footings on the webcam to the renderings, is by seeing where the bottom of the supports are grouped in those renderings. Does that make some sense?... I hope. I also realize that the web cam is at a different angle than on the rendering above. So it might be a little difficult to see where everything is.

Because the renderings are focusing on the layout of the ride and not going to be that detailed. Why is everyone so worried about the renderings not being accurate? They are FOCUSING ON THE RIDE! Sheesh!
-
The videos/renderings are focusing on Banshee not the rides the park already have. That's why some of the rides are not in the renderings or videos.

Nothing special (other than the word "fly" maybe?) but this is from King Island twitter account. Bats fly (They better call it The Bat) So do Banshees (well ghosts in movies).
-
They're covering up The Bat cages that they're going to release when they announce " The Bat, 2014!" jk Or maybe they're going to have a UFC match. Looks like a boxing or MMA ring. Banshee Vs. The Bat! The winner takes over this area!
-
I saw this on the webcam today. What is that blue square shaped object that I have circled? I'm assuming it's for the announcement.

I guess you don't like Dorney Park since they have three inverted coasters. And that's one less person for me to stand behind in the line. Also where in the rulebook of amusement park operation does it say a park has to have one inverted coaster?
-
The only problem, the park already has a flying coaster behind The Racer called Firehawk. By the way, welcome to KICentral! Hope you enjoy it here!

You forgot Snickers on there.

That's cool you're doing that for those that can't make it, Dane. I'll be at the park for the announcement too, along with my cousin. -
What Wooden coaster is or was your favorite?

I voted the Voyage. Love the fact that you never slow down until you hit the final brakes, the 90 degree banking turns, and the airtime through the woods... Oh and the tunnels too. -
Just checked on Internet Explorer, and did see it. I thought I was falling for a prank or something. lol!
-
No my pop up blocker is unchecked. I'm using Mozilla, should I try Internet Explorer?
-
I still don't see anything. I did close my browser as well or I'm just gullible...

^ ^I don't see anything too. I see the Brady Bunch, the t-shirts and Rock 'n' Roll Never Forgets ads.

And I just want to add to this that Maverick and Disaster Transport are/were the only 2 Intamin coasters can I ride/have rode. But due to being a big guy as in proportion, I have trouble getting the the seat belts on. The lap bars or over the shoulder harnesses (on the impulse coaster only) were ok, it's just that the seat belts are too short. I liked Maverick's shoulder restraints because I had no problem with the belt buckles on the harnesses. I just wish I could have been able to ride Millennium Force TTD, and Wicked Twister.
-
Just so everyone knows my top 2 steel coasters are a B&M and an Intamin. Diamondback being first and Maverick in second.

That was her fault for eating while riding the ride. Doesn't say that the ride malfunctioned though. http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=125186&page=1 ^ Crypt, I have a link to an article as well.

Not going to happen. The park just announced what the 3 new haunts are and Banshee isn't one of them. They are Bloodbath Bayou, Delta Delta Die, and Board to Death.
-
If you go to the park's main page, the countdown is still orange instead of blue.
-
I want to believe it, but I just can't right now.

I had said this about a month ago as to why maybe Cedar Fair dropped the name Banshee and went with Mantis back in 1996: Here's the link: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/27275-starting-to-decode-2014/?p=525780

Good luck trying to ride a ride that isn't built yet. You'll have to wait until next year.
-
Wow. It's gonna go at least 150 mph, huh? Well the news said its gonna break the world record. That also means any kind of record (ex. tallest, fastest, longest, most inversions etc.) for any type of roller coaster.

A local news station also had a copy of the blueprints from the city of Mason. Any building blueprints and permits are available to the public I think.
