  1. Like Terp I been many times as well. Most of the theming though Cedar Fair had very little, if at all to do with. (if its Ghost Town and rides like Jaguar you are referring to). At one time there was a lot more to it prior to CF taking over it seems as I wanna say I remember the jaguar statues at Jaguar used to breathe smoke . The recent work done on Log Ride is splendid though.
  2. ^was it taken apart last year? I feel like it was actually running but I don't remember now.
  3. Following the 2010 attack at SeaWorld Orlando they started installing glass around the Dine with Shamu pools at the parks. I keep thinking plexi glass but I am not exactly sure if it is, just know that it is nowhere near flimsy and seems to be a pain in the rear to clean.
  4. While on the topic of viewing glass/windows (and this post is purely for fun) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_IxcqLyDnk "Today is the day", affirmed Puffles the polar bear. The temptation of the little hot dog cart across from his pool had taken its toll. After several months, Puffles could no longer endure the torment. "Buns, wieners, buns, wieners EVERYWHERE. FOR EVERYONE BUT ME! I shall procure mountains of those juicy, beefy treats! A bear can only take so much!" The plan was simple. Simple but quite effective. "I'm gonna take this big ugly rock and smash that stupid glass. I'll ride the wave like a boss face first into the bun warmer. I'm going to eat the **** out of those hot dogs! Chili, cheese, relish, onions, tomato, ketchup...IT'S GOIN' ON!"
  5. ^I've seen similar at the Cincy Zoo with those gators too. It often bugs me how a lot of people go to zoos thinking the animals are cute cuddly teddy bears that won't bite. I kept my distance from this one mostly because I know they are wild animals they all have instincts they follow but I do feel for the mom.
  6. I want to see the Eiffel Tower's antenna back to how it used to be before Drop Tower came around, lol... btw XGatorHead 8904 I feel flattered you using that pic I took of you at Haunt last year as your avi now XD
  7. Just this one and my own (which is largely SeaWorld based).
  8. I dunno if I really have a favorite at KI. I guess its a tie between Diamondback and Vortex. At Knott's...Silver Bullet without a doubt. SeaWorld? lol...not coasters.
  9. I loved the improvements at Knott's and CP's look like it'll be similar by the illustrations, hope it turns out awesome.
  10. Ok I remember greying out there as well >_>
  11. I grey out on Silver Bullet mostly and occasionally on Vortex either during or just after the corkscrews..
  12. I don't believe they are selling any decals (yet). Perhaps next season I wouldn't be shocked. Right now its mostly just cups and shirts.
  13. Roller Coaster/Manhattan Express at New York New York Casino in Vegas. Most uncomfortable I ever encountered. I don't recall my rides on King Cobra being great either. Mantis... Following those I'll go with SOB and Gwazi off the top of my head. I only did Gwazi once, but did Sonny many, many times before and after loop removal.
  14. I like both so I'm not gonna vote (I would if "both" was an option). Iron Dragon is one of those rides I grew up with and it will always hold that special spot with me. I could ride it all day no problem xp but I do love Flight Deck's speed though.
  15. I was raised around coasters from when I was an infant so they seem to be a permanent fixture... (despite the fact I'm not as crazy into them as I was once was). I guess when I was in 8th grade...I was still highly into coasters. 8th grade.....so long ago now.
  16. Better than nothing at all. I'm personally happy it is not a massive thrilling coaster. Wild Eagle just opened...like last year did it not?
  17. The picture I posted is Peters Cartridge for those who are not caught up. It was taken last year, me and my dad were there for a reason. I don't go out of my way to trespass :b
  18. Peters Cartridge, right? I'm always fascinated with it. Even always look at it quickly from the top of Flight Deck's lift hill. Such a shame its in such poor condition though :/ I noticed the bridge to nowhere is officially no more. (was there in 2009 but was gone by last spring). Its covered in stress cracks _1018965 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr Yeah, not a good idea to go wandering around the facility.
  19. At this point I'll be spending more time at Knott's Haunt than I will be KI's....woohoo working evening shifts. I still plan on visiting KI when I am able to though.
  20. Cedar Point: Mantis Millennium Force Wicked Twister Power Tower (I was so nervous) Kings Island: WindSeeker Diamondback Firehawk Delirium During the 90s I was at CP for really just about every major addition on their first day opening (Snake River Falls, Raptor, Mean Streak) but didn't ride due to my height, lol. >_>
  21. This is a little different. Just across the river from the old plant is a bar I think it's called the whistle stop now. They had a cage that hung out the front of the building and a monkey would sit there and people would give it cigarettes to smoke. haha, I figured it was completely different XD ...........and I think I posted too much today, normally I'm not chatty at all. See ya'll tomorrow. lol
  22. I remember playing on monkey bars as a kid in my school play ground.
