Pride night was always among one of my fave nights to work when I work during the summer. I might just go just to go this year.
-
I got one ride right before it closed. Liked it alot. The Beast however... I was in first aid.
-
I grew up on Mean Streak and I think that squeaker is worse than Sonny..
-
Tennesse Tornado, Mystery Mine, Blazing Fury, and Thunder.... I enjoyed them all. Tennessee Tornado is by far the smoothest Arrow I been on. The scenery and Smokey mountain view is beautiful! They also had some very good shows too.

Well only "idiots" make posts like that. "Double Post" and "Triple Post" More work for the mods... Just sayin'.... -
Take the time to try the Haunt attractions some of them look really good but the ones I tried last year was just plain stupid.(Urgent Scare and Cornstalkers) I know. Urgent Scare was not scary at all. It was just really gory. Kind of like that one movie... "Haunting in Connecticut". All it pretty much was a bunch of infected doctors working on infected patients which are screaming.... very scary. NOT! So what doesn't scare you or another person on this board may be the very thing that drops someone else.

I think the constant polls and the general attitude to be extremely childish. The general attitude as in the whole "zOMG Son of Beast IS THE WORST ROUGHEST COASTER ON THIS PLANET!!!!!!11111" type posts. (Or how my mind interprets them as). I like coming on, but seeing a thread where "Son of Beast" is the title is a real turnoff and I usually try to avoid it. I know some people are going to think "wtf" at my post and those who know me personally are gonna have their jaws drop to the floor. This is how I feel and it is a forum so... There are some suitable topics and make more sense as polls like "most overrated major ride" or "underrated" at least its about the whole park, not just biased singling out one lone ride. And the amount always seems to increase whenever the ride is shutdown? I'm NOT a major fan of Son of Beast but I am not a hater either. I really despised it my first ride in 2000 but still tolerated it clear till its accident, and after it reopened I was a semi regular. I believe it probably would have been better if the ride was never introduced in the first place. But then again, how far could have these parks gone? (if it were possible, the country's economy began sliding then, along with that the coaster wars was as well have ended) Way I look at it design wise, that thing is a nightmare and shouldn't be standing and never should have stood. But it is here, and I don't blame Cedar Fair for wanting to take a shot at it, being the tallest wooden coaster in the world, ya know. If your someone like me who handles 65 pound bobcats every day know I deal with far greater pain than what most people get from this ride (for most a headache). Besides those, I've handled kangaroos, a cougar, my aunt's alligators and couple other things that could otherwise kill me if startled/angered/provoked in any way. Maybe that's just me. People are entitled to their opinion, there's mine. I like reading through KIC, not active I know, but it's still interesting read through. Poor Son of Beast always seems to get the beaten path. It's not smoothest wooden coaster and it is certainly isn't the roughest either. But for some if they never had the pleasure of leaving Ohio (or the midwest for that matter) there are some woodies that make Sonny look like a teddy bear. For me the smoothest is Thunderhead at Dollywood and the roughest is a tie between Colossus and Mean Streak (Six Flags Magic Mountain and Cedar Point) Ok I'm done >_> I had an emotional day I need sleep. EDIT: fixed grammar errors... I typed this thing up real fast.

For this reason, I felt Invertigo should have just been called the ADD Coaster in the beginning. (sit and think why yourself, I'm not typing it out) I say Diamondback, The Beast and Crypt. Crypt was overrated even as Tomb Raider... Diamondback is awesome, but its not the greattest thing ever invented either. The Beast gets the same reason as Diamondback.

Just saying "no thanks"...

I bent my thumbnail backwards on Drop Tower at Kings Island last Tuesday, do I count? I blame myself, not the ride tho... -
What I was trying to compare was the friendliness around the park of Disney. CF should look at that. People often tend to go back to a park that was really nice, epically if employees go out of there way to do something for a guest. Disney? lol Thats not always true for them either. I've had my fair share, probably the dumbest thing happened several years ago in Fort Wilderness. I wont go into detail on what happened (a group of select few here know the story so they can sit and chuckle or shake their heads with arms crossed over their chests). Its amazing what a pet cat and a first aid kit offered to the associate (whos eyes were so wide my grandpa thought his eyeballs were gonna just pop out of his head) can do. Just weeks after we left and told them we're taking our business to Cedar Point, Disney changed that policy. I know we were not alone but still funny how after we there....Just sayin' carry on.

I think the Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain is worse than Son of Beast before and after the loop, and then theres the Mean Streak..

Wow the monorail. That shouldn't have happened. I feel for the drivers family =( -
Theres grass under Diamondback.... and a sandal..
-
oh, haha. I saw D'back's TVs. Then I saw how shiny the track was and forgot about them. XD
-
^was that about the TV's? lol I honestly never paid attention to them, my racing or weird thoughts often tune them out (as well as everything and everyone else around me... =\) but I know they were there. I noticed it in Delirium's line
-
A guy running on stilts. I saw him again later which confirmed for me that I was in fact not seeing things (like I originally thought I was..) and even better.. a friend of mine. oh and the QueTvs are gone. saweet...

^I was very much addicted to the "night" version of that flash thingy. I don't know what it was about the PKI site. But when something makes my internet crash or kick me out and finally disappears like a bad dream, I don't miss it lol!

The PKI website made my internet crash, I don't miss that lol

The music on International street.

They can get rid of it. I hated Tomb raider and I hate the ride now. It was great last year.

I just want to clarify on the Knott's bit. Knott's began as a road side food stand owned by Walter Knott who specialized in what is known as boysenberry indeed it was a farm long ago. -
It makes a good starter coaster for those who feel they aren't ready for SOB or Vortex... it certainly was one of my firsts along with Adventure Express when I first began riding KI's coasters after being raised at CP
