  1. What exactly do you mean by Dilirium?

    Web Cam

This is the first I've heard of this web cam. Perfect North has similar thing. I would love to see it back up. It would be awsome if it were up during the winter, so you can see the park with snow on it. I'd like to see more than the 3 or 4 pictures we got last winter.
  3. Yes, the northern part of Ohio. Areas like Toledo and Cleveland. So, were CP and SFWOA affected? What happend over at those places, maby we'll see it on the news sometime soon? I wouldn't doubt it. There hasn't been anything on the news about it or anything as far as I know.

  5. Ok, it's time to find out what YOU think is in store for the future of what we now know as Water Works. Oh yeah, and wasn't someone dropping clues about a bridge and Star Trek? Perhaps that could tie in.... oh well, what do you think??
  6. I think they should have the option to buy waterworks only 1 day passes at a low cost, but still include it in general park admission.
  7. I agree with most of you, Water Works won't die. They're going to retheme it and stuff. Personally, I don't know how entirely much I like the themeing. I kind of like having rides with origional names and stuff, it kind of takes me back to the classic American theme park. -Ryan
  8. I bet if they uses them, they won't be working. They're run by a computer and it takes a lot to set them up and reprogram them. I would love to see them again though. I really doubt they'd sell them because probably there's something with them that they don't want the public to know, like how they work or whatever. I'm sure it's pretty obvious to figure it out, but I'm sure they don't want Disney buying all of them to compare designs.
  9. hmmm...I wonder what they're doing with the props, does anyone know?
  10. I agree with you trespassing is harsh. Then again, I'm sure they don't really want to charge people with it, they just need to set an example to show that they're serious.
  11. Yeah, when we did the TR:TR filmings in June, we were in the park around 7:30 or so. There were semi-trucks pulling up to the resteraunts. Now, I know those driver's can't see much, plus I was impressed by the fact that they could even get the trucks back there. I remember thinking that it was thunder every time the truck would hit the bridge in Rivertown. So anyway, if you're behind the ropes, and a truck comes, a lot of times there's nowhere to go.
  12. Care to Share? I had the same speil. Basically the trick is to have the center of gravity always the same. So instead of climbing the ladder like you normally would, you do something like: Right hand, Right food, Left Hand, Left foot. If you switch back and forth, it screws up the center of gravity and makes it flip over.
  13. Do you guys strictly patrol the park during the regular season, or do you hold down the fort during the off season too?
  14. Ha, you heartless punks. As you read Dane's post, actually Shaggy's post, you were probably hoping that PKI didn't get sued. You muggles... Yeah, but that is sad that two men who went to rescue the guy in the fountain died or any of the victims. I don't mean to be heartless. In the business that PKI is in, they have to be a little on the apathetic side sometimes.
  15. Oh, I agree with you totally. Hypothetically speaking, it's much nicer to think that an accident occured at the park as opposed to a death, which occured elsewhere as a result of the accident.
  16. I assumed that there was something that they could advertise to the general public. Not everyone has kids. The kiddy attractions have to be a big draw. I mean, look at how they're advertising Scooby Doo when they got an awsome ride like Delirium.
  17. Awsome use of the dictionary, Crispy! Thanks for the post, Dane. Oh yeah, and death can be determined on the scene, at least in KY. A paramedic can determine a DOA in this state, I'm not sure about Ohio though.
  18. This question isn't intended in bad taste at all, but was anyone in the park the fateful day when 3 people lost their lives? A friend of mine was there, but all he remembers is that it was kind of chaotic. I'm just curious as to how the park would handle a situation like that. -Ryan
  19. Does anyone know what they advertised as the big attraction in 2001? According to the history on this web page, it quotes: "2001 -- Kings Mill Log Flume returns completely overhauled and re-themed as a Nickelodeon adventure. Flight of Fear receives new lapbar restraints, replacing the old OTSRs making the ride more enjoyable." I don't remember the Wild Thornberry's ride being advertised on TV. Was there a big attraction that year? I had a season pass in 2001, but I'm totally experienceing a 'brain fart'. Thanks, Ryan
  20. What kind of training do they give you to be security at PKI?
  21. What the heck, I'll do it. I'm 20. BoddaH1994@aol.com PM me for my home address. --Ryan
  22. I'm sure he'd appreciate it if you didn't e-mail him with questions like that. He's a very busy man. When they're ready, they'll tell you.
  23. awww, come on! I like this game. Give me another clue.
  24. Oh, I totally agree that it should be done. Just make sure that it's got more of a "We're here to have fun, this is how we make sure everyone has fun" theme to it as opposed to a "While you're here, you WILL obey OUR rules" theme. They both get at the same points, but why have such a downer to start such a great day?
  25. "Water water everywhere but not a drop to drink." -'Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner' Samuel Taylor Coleridge So this water, will someone be submerged in it, or will they be floating on it in some sort of craft?
