Awww but ICPcreeper you are NOT scaring ME??? I thought I was your target practice??? As often as I see you in person I would think that those "practices" would be visible? HMMMMMM?? Honestly I have not seen the practices and yea not getting the fear of fear fest out of old ICP here but trust me Dane and others of the Fear Fest addictions - like myself - have continued to keep the spirit of the holiday quite active!!. Ohhh and got to finally meet Funky Uncle Henry in person!!! We had an awesome time chatting of past PKISurvival challenges, Kings Island in general and just the wonderful holiday of Halloween - yea he is going to be participating in Fear Fest this year - WE HOPE!! He got a good start at our meeting. I turn to get my camera and he got me!! Did not even expect it - yea I see a future in fear fest for this guy!!. Just hope they do not "KILL KENNY". You have to check out the pictures on that website to understand this particular joke. If you visit the fear fest pictures I have posted - you might find some interesting changes. I do update this website with each new "reunion". Now I do not post all of the pictures! Some can be embarassing huh ICP?? ICP had a rather interesting surprise at the end of our last visit which was nicely captured on film. Thankfully my most embarassing moment WAS NOT! Honestly with Cedar Fair purchasing Kings Island I do see very positive changes in the Fear Fest event - possibly starting earlier and lasting longer - as in their other parks. They do tend to utilize all areas of their other parks in themed sections and from what I have seen and heard they have a lot more of my favorite element which happens to be the creepers. Duh like no one here knew that one. I was informed that Fear Fest 07 will be a rather interesting year for me. Seems my rather jumpy nature and total enjoyment of being frightened is becoming legendary. Every reunion or new meeting of Kings Island people be they from here at PKI Central or from Fear Fest seem to include a "let's scare Karen" time. Have yet to have a reunion that did not include this!! Heyyyyy I am NOT complaining!! YES ICP this is a Challenge for you if you choose to accept it - you must top the scare I received from FunkyUncleHenry!!! But doubting you can.........................Your honor is at stake!!

Yea I kind of figured out who you were too lol. ICPcreeper is not the only one that wore jeans - I think Cody did too but ICPcreeper is the only one with the MOE hair cut ha ha.

Yea I have not heard anything from the "undertaker" in a few months now - think the guy forgot me. Have a friend that is in touch and keeps me informed about his whereabouts. He is an awesome guy as the Undertaker and personally. Very very nice man and that VOICE IS REALLY HIS!!! That IS how he sounds. Had the opportunity to chat with him briefly before he officially started his "act". Honestly Kings Island would be stupid if they did not really try hard to lure this guy back again. If not in the front then put him somewhere else but allow him to use that voice of his!!! If you all check out PKI Survivor game forum - there is a great location for the Undertaker - Our Kinza Tribe thought of it and won that particular week (3) - fear fest new attraction for the Action Zone area - Paramount's idea was great too - hope CF decides to use one of them!! Yea they had a little extra help with a real fear fest fan on the kinza tribe but I had help from one of the best creepers at the park and the one that trains such creepers as ICPcreeper to do their jobs well. Ohhh hmmmm ICPcreeper has slacked off on his off season training. Either slacked off or just losing his touch lol.

Actually Cornstalkers was pretty good - just one of the times I went through there was not much but the other time I had a blast so again with everything else I guess it was pretty much when you went to it.

Hey Hidden - trust me they were never "NICE" to me either ha ha but I liked it when they were mean so that worked for me. You know they are good guys. Every one of them has a heart of gold!

Fear Fest '07
Hey everyone here knows my feelings about the creepers. From what I learned about the other CF parks they really are into the creepers but kind of turn them into a lot of warewolves in some of their other parks. I love the creepers at Kings Island. Some of them are my friends now and we have an awesome time together - ICPcreeper is one of my best buddies so I know where he is coming from here. The guys that were creepers this year really do enjoy scaring people and it showed all season in their talent at doing so. I not only got frightened by them but had a blast watching them go after others. The guys they had this year were better than any other year! Every year they have had a few good ones but this year they had a full team!! Every single creeper did a fantastic job! Yes ICPcreeper was one of the best ones at Coney Maul and at the front of the park toward closing time. I am one that never thought any of them got the credit they deserved because when you watch them for hours chasing people and seeing entire groups running for a long time BEFORE looking back that should tell CF that this is a GOOD thing here. I think some are using me for target practice over the offseason times - ok with me - lot of fun - but honestly if CF is smart they will increase the amount of those creeping around the park and put them in other places - not just Coney Maul. Action Zone needs an attraction with a few creepers wondering around that area - there are several pathways that I could see awesome places to put creepers - the ones over hung with trees and hidden areas. The area by the train station is another place full of hiding places for the creepers and in bad need of some. Why should creepers only be around the entrance and coney maul? CF had the park for Fear Fest this year and if anyone really noticed it did improve on this event. Cornstalkers went from a small pathway for a different variety of walking creepers to an attraction. The Workzone was near Action Zone and was lame at best. It was revamped and moved to the area by Coney Maul and improved somewhat. They needed more improvement but it did get a bit better than that lame excuse they had by Action Zone. The Undertaker was awesome this year - I agree but let's not forget either that often he had help. The chainsaw guy was working with him as were other creepers to increase his scare value. He was not always alone! Trust me in this as I spent many hours watching them in their process and endured some of that teaming up action many many times myself. Headless Hallow was good this year if you went at the right time. I went through it when the group was done well and it was great! Another time the lines were running into each other and naturally the scare value decreased plus the actors were either tired or just not into it and not a lot of action was seen - kind of thought maybe too many called in sick that night. The one I would kill is that joke Holiday area. But that is my opinion.

Any fear fest person that wants to go hun. It is not private by any means. I can even pick you up if you want a ride! Going to pick up Jon on my way and have plenty of room for you too! Mike will be there for sure and we are trying to get some of the other creepers as well. It is a reunion and to keep in touch because we all made friends and none of us want to lose that. This little tavern is public and all are welcome. I am not a park employee but they adopted me and made me the official fear fest mascot so that qualifies lolol

is fearfest scary?
ok got me blushing here!!! OOPS Dane please forgive me for that one you know I love you to death!!! Do not know anything about any poles other than the VOTING one ha ha. But if I can say it - Dane was considered a fox by most of the people I brought with me. Some comments were made that I can not post here but apprently he is a "hottie". Some of the girls he chased out thought he had a nice bod but then he chased them out of the park!! Sorry Dane I just had to do that. You know I love ya. I really do not know what he looks like without make up YET but hope he considers gathering with us weekly or at least monthly to keep our fear fest buddy ring going!! We all want him there!! Is fear fest scary? Of course it is and I certainly hope the new owners of Kings Island choose to enlarge it for the next season as it is an awesome way of ending the year since they did not do winterfest. Had tickets for that as well but then cancelled it. Miss PKI!!! At least we have PKI Central

You might be a KI addict if you...
ok bodda i think you win this one -except the fear fest - that one is MINE!!

naw that one picture is suppose to be the Undertaker's bat. He roams around the undertaker and follows his orders. It is awesome to watch him spread his wings and still maintain balance as the actor inside is on stilts plus holding up rather long arms to apear menacing. This thing came and rested right over me once! Actually it was comical watching them try to take that entire thing out of a room. It took them several minutes most times. Hey DANE is a super sweet guy!!! He is the one that started everyone scaring me and started this great group of friends going!! I owe my fear fest fun to Dane!! This guy just has an absolute heart of gold. I did get one over on him!! I usually parked my wheelchair next to a wall that had a fear fest sign next to it. Well Dane came jumping up on that sign and threw that chainsaw over it thinking he had me only to see my daughter sitting in the chair - my legs were stiff and I was trying to walk it off. I saw this look of shock across his face as he saw her and almost fell over laughing!!! I am not totally confined to the "chair" but because of an ailment I have there is a lot of pain in my body. Sometimes it just hurts way too much to walk. The last two weekends I lived on a stead stream of Ibuprofen to be able to walk and enjoy as much as I could of fear fest but as you all know too much aspirin is NOT good on a bad stomach so can not do that alot! We are working on getting all of the guys together at least once a month but preferably once a week. Found a place to meet and just gathering them together now. We are trying to locate the distorted faced guy now - his name is Scott. Think we have everyone else located or in the process of it. Mike - the really tall honey blond haired guy, and Jon the taller guy with what looked like a sack over his head, and I have already met up at least once. Have yet to see Jon without make up and threatening to get him a dress if the next time I see him he is wearing any!! Honestly saw him Sunday night at another haunted house then Tuesday night - Mike, Jon and I met at Annies for a Halloween party they had there. Those of you that saw Mike know he is tall anyway at his regular 6'6" height but at Annies he was wearing these big heels on his shoes and stood 6'9" We got a picture and it is on my own myspace account - I am that little thing somewhere around his waist!! Send me a private message if you want to see it and I will give you the address. OHHH and every time we see each other - they are STILL scaring me and enjoying every minute of it so in a way fear fest is still going on for us! We are twisted halloween lovers!

on limiting fear fest I don't know but some of my buddies there said they were hearing it might be limited but again likely a rumor that is running around - a lot of rumors start when a new company takes over like that. Always talks of cutting back. I already got my season pass and will be highly ticked off if they reduce it at all because the final day of Fear Fest it was so crowded that I would not even bother to attempt any of the attractions which is ok as the scare actors are the best and there is no lines and no waiting!!

Fear Fest Pictures
Just wanted to share some pictures that we took during the Kings Island Fear Fest of the Scare Actors / sliders that wandered Coney Maul and the front of the park including Undertaker and the Chainsaw guy. The third page is dedicated to my favorite guys. The best people any one could ever have the honor of meeting and getting to know!! These guys were not only amazing at scaring people but they were extremely considerate to me and took good care that I had a wonderful time. I have posted all over these forums about how the under rated Sliders, Undertaker and Chainsaw man are - well check this out and you will see why!! Wish I was better at webpage design. People this came from the heart!! Dedicated to my wonderful new friends: Dane, Jon, Scott, Don, Mike, Cody, Josh, Kris, and those that I never found out names on!! You all are fantastic people! Thanks for giving someone like me the best time ever!!! http://doopy1956.com/fearfest/fearfest.html I was able to stay after the park closed to get those final shots - our final group pose. We were unable to get three of our buddies in here as they left early on us!! But their pictures are also through out the site. Each and every one of my favorite guys made sure they did not leave without our final season hug!! Guys I miss you terribly!!! Get those emails going - don't say you don't have my address!!

aww come on folks let's try to keep this all upbeat and fun!!! This is just chat - we state what we think or what someone told us but unless we are engineers we really don't know. It could have been because of the wind as it was really strong that day - could be mechanical or could be mechanical resulting from the wind - does not matter - they did not run - some did run later and some did not. Lighten up and be respectful!! Let's have fun getting to know each other and sharing our opinions in here!!

Hey let's give some time to the great FEAR FEST Finale as well!!! Got there early to try to catch the scare actors before make up!! Been giving a hard time this year so wanted to see who they really were. Missed most of them! Did get to see the distorted faced guy and the very tall blond haired man. Several of the rides were closed due to the high winds but thankfully that did not last long. My daughter and her buddie ran off to explore ride lines - not bad on the waits at all. My daughter and I were sitting in a doorway of a closed shop to avoid the wind when suddenly someone moves my daughters feet with a cane and says next to my head "KARENNNNNNNNNNNNNN I am here for your soul tonightttttttt" None other than the undertaker just before he got fit with his mic!! This man had been threatening my soul all month!! Digging my grave and I think the chain saw man was there to cut off any parts that did not fit! Fear Fest pretty much started on time. The place was very crowded and the lines to each attraction looked like they would take at least two hours to get through. Most were so long that they wrapped in places and it was sometimes hard to figure which lines went with which attractions. My daughter and her buddy chose to ride the rides instead as those lines were not any where near as long. I choose to spend my time at Coney Maul with the "sliders" or as people here call them the SCARE ACTORS. It was really fun and entertaining to watch them scaring people up and down the maul. A few spotted me sitting alone and decided to take it upon themselves to take turns "Waking me up"!! One slider was at the Photo Place, did not recognize him at first so just "drove on" and suddenly he slid up to me - scared me!! They were not in their usual "make up" and most looked like characters in an ICP video. When I found out which one this guy was I nearly fell out of my chair!! Nice to kind of see what he looked like under that burlap sack he used to wear but did miss his AC/DC jacket! I think their make up was much better than the previous masks they wore as they did appear more menacing!! This slider talked me into some pictures in the photo studio and got a few other "sliders" to jump in the picture with us!! Picture was an experience in itself - imagine trying to pose with two laughing in my ears, yes scaring me and the other one very tall and behind me growling!! Not easy!! Where we were standing hid the tall one so we retook the picture to make sure all were easily seen. This was a bit easier as only the one was growling at me!! Picture turned out great!! Others gathered to watch our progress and it sure seemed to sell more as others wanted those sliders in their shots as well! They noticed us having a lot of fun! Gathered my prize possession and took off for the Maul again. Traveled up and down the streets enjoying the various screams of people getting chased by sliders. All in all a great time! The last hour of the park is always spent in the front watching the chain saw man chasing people out of the park!! Awesome to watch and so funny at times. Again the undertaker found a few chances to scare me and threaten my soul with his various zombies, with the chain saw man ready to chop me and others down to size - easier for the undertaker to dig graves - not as large. Once the park closed we got together for one last scare with the sliders, undertaker and chainsaw man. They finally got that out of their systems we got a great group picture!!! Several people were standing around watching them scaring me and it seemed like flashes were everywhere. No one knew where to look as most people in that group were taking pictures! The sliders, undertaker and chain saw man all came up to collect their good bye hugs from their unofficial fear fest mascot with promises to keep in touch. Yes I am particial to the sliders but honestly they were my favorite attraction this year. From various comments made to me by other visitors, security, and park employees we were kind of a hit and fun to watch. They loved to scare me and I loved to be scared!! Miss you Kings Island!!! Please do not limit the fear fest fun next year or guess that might be a rumor.

Preview of Fearfest 2006..6..6..
well to throw a little religion on this - first off the mark of The Beast is not any number. In the Bible, if studied correctly, you will note that everything is writen three times to "emphasize" a point. The number 6 always refers to "human imperfection". Soo 666 merely means "human imperfection" emphasized. Put the crosses away - no vampire will chase you other than those at Kings Island - costumed actors only not to take the fun out of it!! LOL Wait I don't remember seeing any Vampires this year?? HMMM Please look at this as what it really is - a holiday where people dress up in costumes to scare those that have fun being scared and end it. At least it is not as fake as other holidays. Superstition really amazes me. How people can get so worked up if there is a cat that crosses your path and just happens to be black - well heck I have had several totally black cats that ignorant neighbors killed because of foolish beliefs. The Boogie man is not going to get you but I am still worried about that strange creature hiding under my bed that likes to steal feet and hands that happen to fall over the sides!!! Someone how he can not get through the sheets!! So as long as I have my sheets and blankets over me I am safe!! Also fear the undertaker that is digging his graves and finding those he can catch and throw in them for his zombies that wonder around in his graveyard. Or even those strange looking creatures that tend to slide across the ground with sparks flying from under them. These creatures come out of no where and are coming for your souls to give to the Undertaker!!! The chainsaw man cuts them down if they are too big for the graves. I think I would rather fear those creatures of the Kings Island night than silly and foolish superstition. Hey there have been a few good songs about it - we can keep them lol

FearFest Ideas
Hauntguy. I am very sorry about you losing your job. I am with you in that family is a lot more important than any amusement park / job ever. They should have understood. After all isn't Kings Island a "family oriented" theme park? You were super nice to me during my two trips to the Cowboy Carnage - I was really hoping to see you this weekend and planned on specifically going up to you and introducing myself. The first time I went through the lines with everyone else and the second a park employee had me come out of the line, gave me a stamp and sent me to you to get the time put on my "yellow sheet". You did not have a pen and just said come back in 30 minutes. I did and you let me, and my family, right in. Don't know if you remember - you did have to fumble with the ropes and another guest got it for you. You were so sweet yet kept in character. Since you already had the night off and planned on a family reunion why can't a family reunion occur at Kings Island?? Companies have picnics there, other families have reunions there as well and I am sure there were park employees at those reuniuns that likely took the day off for them. Does not seem fair. As much dedication as you have for PKI it boggles my mind. By the way I am in Northern Kentucky too. Hope I see you around. I stick pretty much in the Florence area. Best of luck with school!!!

is fearfest scary?
First off Dane can you possibly add an addition to your pole?? Like the scare actors / sliders??? Those are the BEST! Is fear fest scary??? Well coming from a person who has gone every weekend this year.....YES YES YES. I was scared so many times a few times I tried to hide to catch my breath!!! The sliders, chain saw guy, and undertaker are simply awesome!! Every haunted thing I went to had quite a few things that scared me in them!! I am the kind of person that loves to be scared and once they found that out - as I have posted in various other locations - I have been toast!!! Do not go if you do not want to receive scares. This year has been the best year for Fear Fest so far and I have been going for at least 4 years. But that is my opinion!! Of course I think Kings Island is a fantastic place to go any day but Fear Fest is the reason I buy that pass every year!!!
