^^ It's about d@mn time I've wanting to know about the addams family concept for a long time! That survey was a little odd I really to hope to see something themed to the addams family I wonder since and IF paramount parks did get the rights to use the addams family name and image if FearFest would change and make it more of a family type event like disney instead of the sleepy hollow theme. If paramounts Kings Island would build that addams family mansion coaster I would go to pki more often but lately most the newer attractions havent done anything for me thats why I havent been to PKI since may.An Addams Family Attraction would get me into PKI during the spring/summer months and FearFest. PS look at it this way Paramount Parks wouldnt put an Addams Family Diner concept on their survey if they didnt have the rights to it.

Dunno why everyone wants a tall steel coaster if you want to ride one so bad go to CP for crying out loud..the core was awful most people want to forget about it I would like to see more family type stuff.

Plenty of places..behind FOF...In RiverTown...Behind TR:TR..PKI has Plenty of room to add new rides to. PKI has room to expand on so I guess if PKI ever got the ride ( that every PKI fan wants) it would most likely go around FOF or I could be wrong and they would install it in RT.

I have to been many SF parks and PKI has better themes,rides and better food.

So many rides..wow..hope that the rumors of the Nick carwash and Spongebob coaster are true.

Sorry to say this but I also have a funny feeling that IJ:ST is headed PKD's way but I have yet to ride and judge the IJ:ST for myself I have been told it isnt worth the time.

Nope,Saturdays are the worst days you can go to PKI on during the summer.

Is it just me or is Paramount running Tomb Raider into the ground I love the game and the movies,the ride at PKI but Paramount has other great movies to theme there rides to.

I like many of you am holdin out for the addams family it would get to buy me a pass I can say that much.But I HATE ND that was the dumbest movie and a waste of time and seeing kids wearing those stupid ''VOTE FOR PEDRO'' shirts get on my nerves! I think maybe we will see a new paramount movie in action fx theater like *COUGH* Titanic...*COUGH* plus a new stunt show and the return of the NICK parade..2006..

Scooby I loved him as kid and I still watch scooby-doo cartoons to this day with me it's all about Scooby and Smurfs those are the only cartoons I watch maybe spongebob.

There seems to be some confusion going on allow me to clear some of this addams info up The Addams Family is by far my favortie paramount movie so I have learned quite a bit about it. Production on The Addams Family began at the Orion studio, which owned the rights to the Filmways TV library and hence the 1960s TV series. However, during production,Orion's financial troubles, which ultimately led to the studio's demise and purchase by MGM, began. Paramount bought the film rights, finished the production, and even produced a sequel.The only problem and why Paramount hasnt built the attraction we have all seen in the January 2004 Paramount Concept Survey is because when paramount and the main holder of the rights to the addams family were in talks which was Charles Addams ex wife she passed away leaving the project in a current limbo but not to worry paramount is still pursuing on getting an OK so they can greenlight the concept and install it in their parks. And just because I'm bored here is some cool info on Wednesday Addams ever wonder why her name is from a weekday.... The name Wednesday is a reference to the line in the Mother Goose poem which runs, "Wednesday's child is full of woe."Pretty sweet eh?? I have read that some of you would go to PKI or any paramount park more often if an Addams ride was built I highly agree I would go more often as well while I havent been to the park in a while mainly because the IJ:ST doesnt look all that great to me and maybe thats why I havent bought a pass this year but from what I have read about the IJ:ST it is fun but short I keep hearing IJ:ST is short and not all that great.Iam sure if an addams ride was built more pass sales would happen... I also keep hearing that a Nick Central expansion is gonna happen in 2006 with a Coney Mall attraction I guess we will have to wait and see I hate to see HB go but I guess it's costing PKI money.

Many people know its a paramount movie but so is Indy jones and Disney has exclusive rights to Indy as for right now scooby_doo is right amblin is giving the rights to Universal it may be a paramount movie but amblin holds the rights to WOTHW just look at the backlot studio tour....

I can see that adams family ride going in PKI in 2007. I can also see a Flying Super Saturator goin in where slime zone is now but that mean SDGC would have to be removed.

I was at the tour I couldnt hear jeff talk because of all the people mumbling behind me!

I heard something like that but I read that PCW wanted to put it near the parks landmark mountain and have some of the coaster inside that mountain but plans were halted due to issues and thats why PKI and PCW went with IJ:ST because they were working on getting the rights to the addams... I guess paramount only had the rights to use the name and didnt have any rights to make a theme park attraction BUT I hear now paramount has gotten ahold of the rights and now are able to have theme park attractions featuring the addams family and someone told me that PKD's big attraction coaster will be The Addams Family I hear the attraction is in the design phase and will be a one of a kind ride.

Having worked at the park for 5 seasons I can say it has it's ups and downs just dont think it's all play and no work.

Seeing this in PKI would be great FearFest wise and Spring/Summer wise I would try to go to PKI everyday just to see it standing and see all the happy faces on the PKI guests I have always really liked the Addams Family and I love the Munsters so if PKI put this ride it would be a dream come true.

If paramount parks are sold I hope it's not to CF because then I WOULD have to plan those trips to orlando

Cedar Fair I never liked anything Cedar Fair owned because they arent for the family they target the thrill seekers so I would want Six Flags or Universal.

Iam so happy to hear PKI banning smoking I never liked people smoking in Hanna-Barbera land or Nick Central where kids breath it in Iam so happy paramount is going the family route.
