I thought the Crypt name was used for a Haunt before.

Not much to say other than it will open in 2013. I be in the park in March and try to find something out.

I hope they he changes Fast Lane a little. During the Haunt it got out of hand.

Wonder if they will have 25th anniversary shirts?

Hope this works out very well for the people of Nashville. I had alot of fun at the old Opryland.

Kings Island could take the building out. Their is alot of room behind it.

The hitchhikers have been changed and are now projected at the end of the ride.

Why is the water park gated off from the rest of the park? If you look at the train tracks are also walled off.

They did investigate the ghost that throws rocks at the wwc tower. Turns out it was a fan blowing on the door.

Very odd they keep showing Son of Beast with the trains and logo. Go to the park and no one will say anything.

Also a splash battle boat ride would look good in Rivertown. Yes I am have been all the wild mouse you listed and had no problem with comfort or fun.

If the Crypt is going do you think Kings Island could get a wild mouse in the building?

I was a major part of getting historic looking signs and poles added to my historic neighborhood but (lock-n-load JD), some of the landscaping in those 74 shots would be so gaudy today. Times change. The Coney Mall in 74 says "beauty and guest experience first" as a means to draw you back for another visit. I know for most its about the rollercoasters and none of this matters, but for some that's not all that matters when they visit. I just worry how much more vegetation will suffer in order to serve the almighty dollar in years to come. In any case, you can see this kind of landscaping (or lack thereof) just about anywhere...boring I would have loved to see the sculpted ginkgo trees return to this part of the park during this last seasons revamp, but more-so I hope the landscaping will be highly regarded in the future! bold added for emphasis I like the point you make. However, I go to parks to ride rides (in a beautiful environment), not the other way around. In 74' it was the other way around (for other guests, I wash't born yet). I'm glad KI management noticed that change in park-goers or KI may not be as successful as it is today. That said, KI has lost a tone of atmosphere, probably equal to the positive impact of the recent upgrades to Coney Mall, Planet Snoopy, Rivertown (kinda like that new coaster too-great theming . 3 years ago I would agree completely. Today, I think KI is on the right track and I give them my confidence (based on recent improvements to atmosphere). As far as- How much more vegetation will suffer for the almighty dollar... Come on, Greenhouse grown annuals aren't nearly as good for the environment as all the trees that have filled in- Tress that are still there in the winter and coming years and don't require all the nasty chemicals to keep nice like manicured landscaping. Look at aerial photos and I'll defend KI for keeping vegetation any day! BTW, I've driven a Prius since 06' and worked for a citizen's lobby on environmental issues. If the park still looked like 1974 it would be like Bush Gardens today. Loving all the pictures thank you for posting them.

Well Knott's has been clearing out alot of room around GhostRider, but I could also see the Voyage. The Voyage would not be that hard to change its all most steal already.

Wonder if Cedar Fair and pull a Paramount. Opening day half the coaster is gone with out letting anyone know.

This is the second time the loop on California Screamin' has been removed.

If it was to come down how long would it take? I hate to see the coaster go but you could get a whole new area and a new coaster where SOB was.
