Out of the four suspended coasters left. Top Gun (Flight Deck) and Vortex are the only ones you still get that out of control full speed ride. Ninja and Iron Dragon give a slower ride.

If things work out well in Silver dollar city. I would not mind seeing another looping wooden coaster.

Son of Beast was a head of its time just like The Bat. Next year we might have two wooden coasters that have some kinda loop. If you have anything from the park with Son of Beast on it hold on too it. As time goes on it gets harder to find things.

Can't say I'm too surprised. It would not be that hard to take the ride down and leave the station for Wolf Pack.

I would not go in the some toxic waste was in the area. It was covered up not that long ago.

The best ride of The Beast I had was right after it rained with the old skid breaks. Only thing holding me in was the buzz bar and no head rest.

Rode the Rattler early this year. It was to bad of a ride, but I was sitting by myself.

I do think the announcement will have something to do with SOB. Just the ride is not getting fixed. If that does not happen how about a new water slide.

Good to hear the Voyage is smooth. Went last year it messed my back up.

Sounds like something broke and the part came in to fix the coaster.

If Kings Island would take down Son of Beast for a new coaster they have to start soon. Good thing I waited to go back to the point.

I really do think Son of Beast gave its last ride. Now when will it come down is another story.

I used the free drink coupon today. When you goto pay for your food or drink just hand them the coupon and they give you a drink band. So if you go back in line just show the cashier your band. You get a free 20 Ounce drink.

The Bat was designed with a corkscrew in mind at one time. The corkscrew did not make to Kings Island.

Stitches Great escape is about the same as Alien Encounter. I been on both version of Alien. My dumbest ride is Journey into YOUR imagination.

Some of the must fun I had at Kings Island was waiting in line with friends. I do wonder what the people that like fast line would have done back in the day when Kings Island only had four big coasters and long lines?

Scoobys Ghoster Coaster, frist SOB trains and the frist Flight of Fear trains where very uncomfortable.

The Beast could be operating for a long time if the park takes really good care of it. Look at Kennywood park with the Jack Rabbit and Racer.

I could see Son of Beast starting to come down at the end of the season. It might be a lot cheaper to take it down now than fix it.

Not much could replace it the land geography would have to be filled in.

Already went to Texas for two parks. All that's left is Kings Island.
