  1. Oh it will definitely blow you away. Literally it's worse than Drop Zone when it drops. Also there is no theming, no funny signs, no test seat, but Jeff said that it is a 4 intensity rating, and the entrance sign looks kind of like the old 60's neon lights. There are a few light beacons around the ride taht will be lit and maybe flash. Meeting INraider was odd especially with his PM to me last night that was pretty funny. Overall I thought it was a success and the food was darn good too.
  2. Pretty nice day out with a bad forecast. It only rained for little bits twice I think, one during lunch. Delirium-8 Rides This ride kicks so much unbelievable rear end it isn't even funny. Looking straight down at the ground at 137 feet is insane, and so is looking at Son of Beast almost up-side down. I can't wait to ride again. We did get out early though at 3:30, but Jeff Siebert and Dave Mandt took us past the new Chinese resteraunt which took place of All-Star Cafe and Scooby Doo's Haunted Mansion. I am sad we didn't get to ride it, but the pictures of the castle do it no justice. Delirium does not have lights on the bottom, but has the Drop Zone style spot lights. There were some problems with the drop down floor, but we weren't shooting for capacity today. I met quite a few nice people and don't regret riding Delirium 8 times, although my stomach does. Can't wait for Scooby.
  3. Yep I was there, but there is going to be a topic on the new trip report forum so I will close this for now.
  4. Ok I'm going to close this because everyone is just arguing, bottom line it makes the park safer and will not kill a whole lot of time, look at the airport.
  5. Can you not read, sorry to be rude, but this is what the whole post is about. I really doubt that all 1,000 will go to your ride, one there are kids that are going to want to ride Scooby. Drop Zone typically has a long line. I wouldn't be really worried about 1,000 people walking on to Delirium, I'm sure KI has thought this out and made a plan where only a certain amount can go on per ride, plus Wednesdays aren't busy anyways.
  6. KI will do what they think is good for the park, they know what they are doing. I do enjoy the theming, and I hope they keep it up, KI doesn't need to be like Cedar Point (which is good, but I don't think it's better than KI) and be more like Universal Studios and Disney, but not to that extreme of a level where we only get a ride every few years.
  7. For anyone that says PKI is not a theme park those pics show that PKI really is. I can't believe how much effort they are putting into it
  8. I wouldn't really like that, I would rather have an inverted with some inversions, although no doubt it would be interesting.
  9. Getting off topic again, but I have both systems and I find themt o be equal Back on topic Although I am going to ride Delirium Friday, I still can't wait to ride everything else in 9 days.
  10. It's never really that crowded especially since the people that win tickets don't want to go after work. Tomb Raider was very busy but it never opened. Also, PKI rents out two way radios.
  11. Very interesting, everything that was said is true. Glad we have a subway, still sad we don't have a full service resteraunt, but it seems like it may be in the new area by Flight of Fear.
  12. So what if Mr. Weirdo does sneak in a gun. If that's because we didn't have metal detectors than KI is going to get massively sued and be closed for a while for that. I would rather lose a couple minutes, which I'm sure the park will make up for by opening the gates a couple minutes earlier. With the comment about the super market. How many super markets do you know that even have 500 people in it. How about 5,000. I don't know where you shop, but I've never seen that.
  13. I don't see it happening. It's in a compact spot and is very popular. Super Saturator uses a totally different tracka nd an elevator lift system would slow it down.
  14. Sounds really cool, sad it isn't in color though, but I guess life could be a lot worse.
  15. I hope they get several webcams kinda like CP. Maybe one on top of Drop Zone facing Delirium.
  16. SOme people don't think this is a big deal, but this is an honor to me, getting picked out of a 1000s (ok maybe only a couple hundred), but this will be a lot of fun and we'll be some of the first on Delerium.
  17. This needs to be moved it really doesn't fit in here. Action Zone-Movie themes Oktoberfest-German music International street-Music from all over the world Coney Mall-60's and 70's music Rivertown-Country/Folk HB Land-HB songs Nick-Nick songs Waterworks-Anything
  18. Lucky, mine isn't until the 11th, it's ok it will be well worth the make up work.
  19. Ya, but since my grades are good I can get out for a day.
  20. Ok guys i got an idea let's meet at the pop machine by the public relations office at 9:30. Hope to see you guys there can't wait to get some rides on Delerium.
  21. I am also going, I'm very excited. I'm hoping that Jeff Siebert will be there so I can maybe talk with him about seeing Son of Beasts new restraints. I don't know I'm really excited though.
  22. Don't post useless topics please. I am goign to have to say Potato Works Fries.
  23. A photo release is a form saying that KI can use your name and picture without paying you.
  24. Ya, I didn't get it, but hopefully I'll get selected.
  25. I think we'll probably be waiting to get in at 4:30. I think if you can meet at 4 be there if not, than we'll meet at Scooby at 6:30 how's that sound?
