  1. I actually do like Scooby a little better. The ride definitely does deliver. This is apples and oranges, but I'll let it stay open for now.
  2. Well the day started off at about 9:45 for me. I met a couple people from Coasterbuzz and than FoF. I hung out with him today and we each got quite a few rides on the new ones. Scooby Doo-7 Rides Well the opening cerimony(sp?) was pretty simple. They had the actors from the show last year (Shaggy and Velma) and 2 little kids standing at the entrance and our very own PKI Yogi coming out as Scooby coming out. We had to wait about 20 minutes for the first ride. They explain the lasers and to hit only the lit up targets in line. The ride it self is great. The line on the left is the actual wait line. There are a lot of targets, but some of them are alot harder to hit than others. My hi-score so far on a ride without it stopping is 1650. The line was dark as Tanner said in his TR, but there's not a whole lot to see. They were also giving out free On-Rides. Lunch-2 plates I had an entree and some carrots which was pretty good, not great, but good. They had a Delirium model and a cake along with Scooby Doo cookies. Delirium-5 rides and an embarassing moment Well it all started off with our underwear run. I gotta say the lines on the back were clever "Don't be Scared, Come Prepared.... A Full Load of thrills. It wasn't on the 4 o'clock news, hope it'll be on the 5 o'clock. Delirium was running better today and more efficiently.
  3. It doesn't exactly "blend-in" I would say. I would say it fits the wooded sorroundings. I think we'll have a short steel, but it'll go underground big time.
  4. It will be like that, except for the nes rides they will be about an hour a peice like I said.
  5. Ya but how many will actually go is the question.
  6. I agree with TOM, the ride definitely speaks for itself.
  7. Ya, I'm sure KI fixed the problem about making out on Scooby, I don't know if that is good or bad. You don't have to run in your underwear you have to have underwear on over your pants.
  8. I'm not going to picky. KI has a very good atmosphere and skyline. Driving down I-71 and seeing all of that is great I love it.
  9. Those are new, thank you. I am more exited to ride this tomorrow now, hope they did a great job looks like it's going to be their signature attraction next year.
  10. I don't have a magic ball, but I'm thinking it will be about an hour.
  11. Tanner do you want to meet me there. I'll be at the gates at about 9:45. I also can't wait till tomorrow it looks better than Scooby.
  12. Pass Preview night always has radio stations and family tickets. It's just how it works. The new rides are the only lines crowded and the lines are about 2 hours. So this year I figure an hour a peice.
  13. PKI doesn't feel the need for a steel coaster, we have had higher attendance than CP, and for good reason. FoF is by no means dominate steel, but it is a good ride. I think next year we will see a nice steel.
  14. Do you think it will be the same priced? They have to pay subway for the liscense than make money off the sandwhiches. Although 2.75 is a lot for a 20 oz. drink they have the new sprite so I am interested in trying that.
  15. I'm sure it will be done about 1 or 2. The only thing I could see that would take long is if they show you the other attractions.
  16. Actually they are the same exact seats found on TR:TR.
  17. Well you guys can go a head and meet wherever, maybe we'll be able to get together someother time, I'm sorry.
  18. The only thing that is wrong with Delirium is the construction site in the back, which I think will be for some sort of flat big or small. It could also be a station for a coaster, but god I hope not there anyways. I think KI would have fixed that area back there if they weren't planning on something next year.
  19. Well guys I've got some sad news, work needs me and I have an opportunity to make double overtime since I was supposed to be off, so you guys can go a head and meet by the bathrooms outside of the front gate, but I won't be there.
  20. Probably a peice of Vortex or something, I'm sure they recycled the steel.
  21. Oh it will definitely blow you away. Literally it's worse than Drop Zone when it drops. Also there is no theming, no funny signs, no test seat, but Jeff said that it is a 4 intensity rating, and the entrance sign looks kind of like the old 60's neon lights. There are a few light beacons around the ride taht will be lit and maybe flash. Meeting INraider was odd especially with his PM to me last night that was pretty funny. Overall I thought it was a success and the food was darn good too.
  22. Pretty nice day out with a bad forecast. It only rained for little bits twice I think, one during lunch. Delirium-8 Rides This ride kicks so much unbelievable rear end it isn't even funny. Looking straight down at the ground at 137 feet is insane, and so is looking at Son of Beast almost up-side down. I can't wait to ride again. We did get out early though at 3:30, but Jeff Siebert and Dave Mandt took us past the new Chinese resteraunt which took place of All-Star Cafe and Scooby Doo's Haunted Mansion. I am sad we didn't get to ride it, but the pictures of the castle do it no justice. Delirium does not have lights on the bottom, but has the Drop Zone style spot lights. There were some problems with the drop down floor, but we weren't shooting for capacity today. I met quite a few nice people and don't regret riding Delirium 8 times, although my stomach does. Can't wait for Scooby.
  23. Yep I was there, but there is going to be a topic on the new trip report forum so I will close this for now.
  24. Ok I'm going to close this because everyone is just arguing, bottom line it makes the park safer and will not kill a whole lot of time, look at the airport.
  25. Can you not read, sorry to be rude, but this is what the whole post is about. I really doubt that all 1,000 will go to your ride, one there are kids that are going to want to ride Scooby. Drop Zone typically has a long line. I wouldn't be really worried about 1,000 people walking on to Delirium, I'm sure KI has thought this out and made a plan where only a certain amount can go on per ride, plus Wednesdays aren't busy anyways.
