Look at Cedar Points new ride, they used to strive for quality, but two launches in a row. They are now going for quantity now. PKI goes for quality and I'm glad. The Hunted would be a good theme just have it go flying through the woods have the line all camoflauged with army things and some cool knife FX.

You can try to get it back, but it isn't going to work, the film tape is probably destroyed by now. James Bond was horrible. Meteor Attack could have been done better by a 3 year old. 7th Portal was really good. I think Sponge Bob will be ok.

Yea those foot boards make the ride a little more uncomfortable for me. The first year they did not have them, and people were riding with loose laps. I'm thinking they should get the Y shaped restraints that they planned at first.

Thanks PIcard. That's a great pic probably the finest you can see.

New Delirium and Scooby-Doo pictures!
teenageninja replied to Rollercoast18's topic in Coming Attractions
I doubt it's an on-ride. That would be a waste of money, and if you walked over slow it would miss your pic. -
Just working on track and stuff, getting it ready for opening day.

New Delirium and Scooby-Doo pictures!

That pic with the book case is indeed the Piano room when you first entered Phantom Theatre. I think that the Delerium shots show where the entrance is going to be, or where the fence is. That steel work looks a lot like a fence and/or a sign. And Yes the castle is huge. Looks like they have a lot of work/cleaning to do on Scooby in 4 weeks. -
I think they just put in a new sign. I think it is time for a change though. I think a colored board is a good idea, and I hope it will have the new logo on it.
-
Backwards Racer is smooth everywhere you go. SOB is just as rough everywhere. From what I hear they are getting work done on the trains/track. That's not official, but just gossip.

Son of Beasts UNSUPPORTED structure blew over during construction.
-
I don't know why you devided by 2pi, but when I did it I got approximately 39 feet.
-
I doubt it would be hard on the knees at all they have very VERY thick knee pads.
-
I hope this FearFest is a lot more scary and actually brings out Fears. I wasn't actually scared this year it just made me jump. I wish they would have the hay path, but it was really messy and it smelled HORRIBLE. The stench ruined just a normal day at the park. I just hope they theme the coasters. I think adding fog to The Beast and maybe some noises in the woods lights and such.
-
Have you watched any of the movies of it? It doesn't really spin to fast about 1 spin for every full swing. I think that is a good speed and hopefully shouldn't make anyone sick.
-
Yea it doesn't NECESSARILY mean we'll lose it, but the more good attractions we add the more likely we are to get it. I don't think that changing all of HBLand would be a bad idea either. Sure it's only about 6 years old, but just think how much more revenue the park could make off of theming off of Nickelodeon. You could advertise all of the HBL rides as new and people would believe it just to a simple name change. I do think Scooby would be a little tacky in the middle of Nick Central though.
-
They might be working on land clearing for 2004, but I doubt it's a coaster this year. One they would advertise a coaster to gain an increase in profits. Also, they probably wouldn't want to pay that kind of overtime for that early. SOB work is likely, but I think it was something not that big.
-
Your right it's 50 I am sorry.
-
It was open 2 weeks before last year, I had mine done well in advance and I plan on getting it done the same way this year.
-
I'm sure we will not just see an adult coaster next year. We will see at least a second coaster or some sort of children flat expansion. KI is not going to let thier children's area award go away.
-
52 can get on it at once. The capacity is lower than TR:TRs, but a lot of people will be freaked out by it.
-
KI has a lot of lights on. It may have just seemed brighter. I'm sure it was no big deal you are just going nuts from the offseason j/k. I have no clue what it is, but I really dont' thing it's a big deal.
-
A thousand people spread through out the park. I'm sure i will be on ridesthat are generally walk ons already.
-
Now we know where most of the queue is going to be now. Hopefully it won't just be sitting by the path, that's asking for line jumping.
-
Well they have been updating the site, but now it looks like it will get a major overhaul. That's a good thing.
