fan of beast

Scary????? entertaining, but far from scary. we need paramount back to show how it's done.

i went with a giga, though it will never happen. under Cedar Fair and being in Ohio, we will always be the red-headed step child. our new rides will always fall short of CP. i like wooden coasters and i believe that SOB will re-open. Beast had better get some tlc before it becomes the next target of a lawsuit crazed rider. it is past the point of unbearable.

i made my 20th trip to ki for 2010 this morning. i have not noticed any increase in downtime. it seems to be the same as any other year. my only complaint is that beast is getting rougher than ever.

the pretzels on i-street were a waste of money. the out-of-the-box-microwave-whatever are better. when are we going to get the pretzels like the ones at Cedar Point. now those are awesome.

i rode it a couple of hours ago. it does appear to swing higher than i remember. i noticed the little "hitch" you used to feel is gone. there are 2 large slewing bearings on a pallet just on the other side of the fence behind the ride.

some of the "guns" still don't work.

8 miles. about a 12 minute drive. the best part is we drive by, if the parking lot is too full, we drive right back home. if we get an evening rain, we jump in the car and head over. we catch the empty rides after most of the people in the park bail.

i enjoy the front on all coasters but, i prefer the back on Vortex and Diamondback.

Currently, hip replacements last only about 15 years, Paley said, testifying that Wright possibly could be a candidate for two or three such surgeries." as a hip replacement patient myself at 42 years old, these statements are no longer valid. surgeons now recommend replacement as soon as possible to prevent years of suffering. the new joints that are being used will outlast the patient. mine is now 4 years old. a friend of mine is going on 18 years since his replacement.

at my age, average would be racer, thunderbolt, big dipper, etc... i would guess that a lot of our younger crowd on here would see magnum, Diamondback, millenium, Vortex, and flight deck as average, as this is what they have grown up with.

i have been riding SOB for years with 2 herniated discs in my neck. it never gave me any problems. after the last "overhaul", i felt it was smoother than The Beast. The Beast is extremely rough, but no one complains. the only thing wrong with SOB is that it has become a frivilous lawsuit target. i say we change the name and watch it's reputation change. "if you can't run with the big dogs, stay in Planet Snoopy."

i don't remember the lights going out at all. i've been riding FoF since '03

some say sell, others say buy, and some say hold. proof of how unstable the market is and nobody really knows which way to go.

*sigh* the UK is not near as bad as the rest of europe... they also have dentists.... besides I don't know what their issue is, temps don't get nearly as high as they do around ohio in the summer. stoopid ppl.... Stalker, who spent quite a few months living in the UK to know the stereotypes there... russia was the worst. thankfully, i only spent a month there.

spend some time in europe and you will be enlightened to the problem. they don't use deodorant and don't bathe near as often as americans.

i am a few years beyond 30 and i can relate to not functioning well in the morning. beast was open this morning during ert's, but it looked like a train load of people were halfway out of the station and stopped as i flew by on DB. i know 2 weeks ago it was down for ert's, but that was the first i had seen it down.

The Racers vary from time to time as to which one is better. i rode blue streak once. it did have a lot of airtime, but i found it to be one of the most uncomfortable coasters i have ever ridden.

so you're saying they would have to speed up to stop.

Vidampark, Budapest, Hungary Hullámvasút, Família Expressz, Looping Star Canada is not another country, it's the 51st state up north.

if you can't handle those, you don't have a chance on this thing. it's the closest i ever came to losing it on a ride. i thought my head was going to explode. check out the ride time on this thing. i don't know who makes it, but we need one. and one of these, too.
