How about something cheap and retro like a Whip? It would be nice to have a new relaxing ride, I love coasters as much as anyone, but after a while it's like riding the same ride all day.

Kennywood is my favorite park! It's like going to a major amusement park 40 years ago, all the rides I loved when I first went to parks. I am disappointed that Garfield's Nightmare hasn't been re-themed back to an Old-Mill type ride as was rumored, but I'm holding out hope for next year.

A couple years ago I made the drive all the way up there and the cornball express was closed all day and the paratroopers were closed almost the whole day, it is a neat park though.

May can be a dangerous time at the point, Field Trips make it unbearable, I've been there on a Saturday with field trips going on and I waited over an hour to ride the Witches Wheel (Skylab) usually a 10 minute or less wait. Sunday however was great, They are open weekdays starting May 16, but only till 8 O'clock, but as I said when I ran into field trips in may it was worse than Math & Science days at KI and they didn't leave that early, but perhaps I just had bad luck, I find early June after school is out, during the weekdays to be the best.

Someone else who took pictures and posted elsewhere said that East of Chicago is going to be replaced by a dairy queen, hate to hear that, one of my favorite places to eat, but I do like the one in Upper Sandusky better.

Just read about this park possibly closing on Wikipedia, I was considering this park for my next big amusement park trip probably in 2012, I hope this doesn't happen because I think it looks like a neat old park with a few indoor rides/attractions.

Actually Cedar Fair has done a good job I think, the Snoopy that replaced the Elephant I have found to be no big deal, so far Snoopy has only given my a little sprinkle, so I rode it much more this year

I certainly was not tempted to ride it this year, as much as I used to love water rides, there is nothing desirable about riding through a water fall.

Records are made to be broken. The Beast much like the Force set the standard, in the end the ride that sets a standard is much more important than someone who breaks the record

Never been a big fan of themeing myself, landscaping and decor yes, but themeing not so much, I would be so very happy if they could get rid of them annoying tv's in Flight of Fears que with that terrible video the play over and over.

I wish they would've taken 5 minutes to check restraints on cornball express the day I went there 2 years ago, the ride was closed

How crowded has it generally been this year on Friday Nights?

I think Cedar Point has gotten to hung up on coasters and thrill rides, as much as I like them, I would love to see them go retro every now and then and add something adult yet mild, with more of a classic feel, they have a bit of this already, but a new peaceful ride once in awhile would be nice, but I know the return is probably higher on the thrill ride.
