Whats that image for?

Did Coney Mall used to go farther then it currently does? I know a drawling isn't a very good representation, but it makes it look like Coney Malls goes a good distance beyond The Racer.

Two people in this thread (before me) have admitted to called and complaining. It was more then clear that I was more then the 3rd person to call (to that operator). It more so seems like it's the enthusiast who are for the change.

Here's a picture of it. I took your advice Gordon, and I have to say, I think we're making a bit of headway. I called, and here is what they told me. If you do indeed call, I cannot stress the importance of being polite. I work customer service at work, and I know how much more I actually want to help the polite people, compared to the ones who start yelling right away. It was clear I wasn't the first caller who had this question. Vortex/WindSeeker ONLY On SELECT days, they will open other SELECT rides for ERT (Days/Rides to be announced.) He or she (I don't want to get anyone in trouble) said that they would make a note of my concern, and pass it on. As long as the days are frequent enough (and the rides actually are Diamondback/Beast), I'll be satisfied with Kings Island's solution.

Some people really are acting crazy... there was a study somewhere about people on the internet, (link here) about people acting different because they have a feeling that things can't be traced back to them. It can be. If this is how you guys would talk to people in a group conversation, face to face, I feel bad for you. It won't get you far in life. If KIC ever host another "event", I would seriously look at the entry list before I consider going. There's a few people who I would love to meet, but I've learned a few people who I hope to avoid. I can't agree with Avatar more. Both sides have more then a right to voice their opinion, but they should be able to voice it without being ridiculed. There are a few of you who have an opinion, and I enjoy reading it, even if it's against my opinion. But, for others, you should not insult other people, call them names, or mock them for what they believe. Back on to subject, I think I would've been okay if the park had added almost any other coasters to the ERT. But, WindSeeker, to me, really doesn't sound that fun. I mean, all you really do is spin in circles high up in the air. And Vortex actually makes me sick. I can ride that coaster once, but either I have a headache after I get off that ride, or I feel sick. (Too many inversions I suppose.) I feel like that's a bad combination, for me, to start the day.

You pay for benefits by purchasing the gold pass. If you don't want them, that's why they have the regular pass.

While that is true, if the fans make enough noise, you never know. Plus, we already talked about the list of rides Cedar Point has open.

I'm nearly certain at this point WindSeeker and Vortex are staying. The real question is if we can show the park our opinion, in the hopes they would add Beast/Diamondback. As for AZ Kinda Guy, we basically already know what the park is going to say. But, it's still important to make our voices heard.

You can always convince her to get a pass. It's what I did.

Not directly on that page. Either way, it's still false advertising. You bought the pass being lead to believe one thing, and then they change it on you.

never mentioning specific rides But the blog post did, and the blog is the "Official Kings Island Blog". When you do that, it becomes advertised.

They've kept every other blog post besides the one with Beast/Diamondback. There is no reason to remove it besides the fact it contains some information that is no longer valid.

Does not hint at another ride being open for ERT. They changed the FAQ about Diamondback/Beast, and they removed the blog entry related to Beast/Diamondback being on the ERT. (Which was the only blog entry they removed.) Kings Island is watching this topic (they keep removing things as we point them out). There still is a chance. But right now, Beast/DB has been removed. I know some people don't view this as a big change. But, for some of us, it really is. We each have our own opinion. Some of us, the ERT on Diamondback/Beast was very important, especially seeing how it was advertised on their website. Just understand that as you read this topic.

You know, although it may not be the only reason, it was very high on the list, I'm not going to lie. I've never been a season pass holder before. This is my first year. I've always been once a year park visitor. And then last year, standing there and watching all those people go through the gates to get on Beast and Diamondback early, it gave it some real strong consideration. I simply feel like the park advertised ERT on Beast/Diamondback (I posted the link on the first page), and then took it away. I know the pass may say subject to change, but it doesn't make it hurt any less. EDIT: Funny how that link is no longer active. (KI seemed to have taken down the blog post.) So, if there was any doubt by anyone that these two rides were removed from the ERT, I think this is proof.

But you have to understand, a few of us became pass holders because we want to ride Diamondback and Beast multiple times. If I lived in Cincinnati, it'd be one thing. But when I have to drive for a few hours, I want to be able to get the most rides in on my favorite ride. I think it's as simple as that.

I don't want to become a broken record, but if you want to see this change, you have to let the park know your opinion.

Any idea on the area code? I'm really not excited for WindSeeker like the park seems to think everyone should be. And after loosing Beast and Diamondback, it seems like Vortex is a consolation" prize. Maybe I'd go early to ride Vortex once, but nothing like I would of if it was Beast and Diamondback.

Did you read that online somewhere? Ever been to Cedar Point during there ERT they do it every morning for 1 hour. Raptor is in the front of the park and Maverick is in the Back and its at least a 10 min walk from Raptor to Mav. If I do ERT at CP I do 2 rides on Mav and 2 on MF and get in line for Dragster before the GP lets in I still get one of the first trains of the day on Dragster. You guys should see how Kings Dominion does there walk back to I305 and I mean they WALK YOU BACK. The Security Officer clearly says for those of you wanting to go ride Volcano Cypt and Flight of Fear may do so any one wanting to ride I305 Please Folllow me if any one tries to attempt to run or pass me I will turn this group around and we will start over. You dont get to ride but they will walk you back to be one of the first in line. Each Park has its own thing as I see it. Carowinds handled there opening day Last year Perfect even the Parking was handled the right way. Now as far as Season passes scaning I hope that prop was fixed. Diamondback/Beast are close, and WindSeeker/Vortex are close. I'm just not sure they want guest walking between the two before the park opens. Did you read that online somewhere?

By the way, I have to agree with CoasterFreak45, I could of sworn it was advertised as Beast/Diamondback. Anyways, I did find this still, under the season pass FAQ (no promise this simply isn't updated from 2011.) Source Edit: Found it! Source I sure hope Kings Island stays true to their word.

Very disappointed if Beast and Diamondback were removed! Not a smart decision.
