I'll take you up on that... The Beast... Racer... Firehawk... Adventure Express... Flight of Fear... Vortex... Son of Beast. Plus all the flats... I do agree with you though... majority of the movie name coasters will be renamed... 6 of them by my count. (Including LBGC.)

You stated the reason yourself why it would never happen... I do agree though, it would be pretty cool.

But aren't they also known for telling people that next year they are going to turn one of the trains around backwards? And I believe it was some ride op that told me within a week of the SOB accident that it was going to be torn down.

Apparently you never ride RACER? That is my favourite coaster in the park. No matter how many times i ride it, it still packs a punch. Unless I ride in a certain seat on The Racer, it's been one of the roughest coasters in the park this year, in my opinion. I'm not saying anything about tearing it down, I'm just making a point. Back up here bud. Who ever said anything about taking The Racer out? Although it might be one of my least favorite coasters in the park, I still would hate to see it go. There is plenty of land in the park, you don't have to remove Sonny just to make room for a new coaster. Even before the re-tracking, SOB was my favorite coaster in the park. No matter how rough it is, a hyper wooden coaster just sounds cool, and that has to bring a few people in. Cedar Point really started to take off when they started to go for some records. However, all were steal. That is why I prefer Kings Island, not because it's a half hour closer, but because it has wooden coasters, they type I prefer.

I assume though you try to avoid the park on Saturdays, right? From what I have heard, the lines on SOB during Saturdays are crazy. But I'm like you, and I try to avoid Saturdays as much as possible. But what I have to say is how would the third train hurt? I highly doubt that KI and CF will just give up on the ride. I see some, although slightly, but some improvements to the ride in the next few years. This year, the accident is still in the publics mind. It's front and center. And with the unfortunate accident at SFKK, it brought the SOB accident back to the front of the publics mind. Give it a few years, when the accident slowly is forgotten. And as word spreads, to farther away markets like here in Columbus, (I know people that still think SOB has a loop, not to mention the painful ride they last experienced), I think you'll slowly, but surly see an increase in popularity. The Tallest, Fastest, and now smoother then ever, Son of Beast.

Once again though, thats only what I have seen/heard.

How do you know it wouldn't increase capacity? First of all, there has been days this year with only one train, the addition of this possibly new train would mean it has three trains, in case the one fails. Second, that statistic was taken with longer trains, which would mean longer load/unload times. With shorter trains, in theory, the load times are shorter, so it is more likely that at times, SOB will sit without any train in the station, for however long that may be.

By killing the ride, I was thinking that stopping on the MCB, and possibly waiting for 5 minutes, would take out a lot of excitement for the rest of the ride. And it wouldn't require any re-building of the ride at all. Just a re-work in electrical system. Raging Wolf Bobs had a train identical, or nearly, to those that are on SOB. If that is in fact at KI, (I have yet to see any pictures), it could be used for one of two things. Parts, or a spare train. Only time will tell.

The problem with that is the block before that is the MCB. Being stuck there would kill the ride, if there were any issues in the station.

That doesn't mean that it can't be modified. How about that U turn right before the station? Couldn't that me modified to be a block?

They wont get it, there getting thunderhawk this year. No way they will get 2 coasters in one year especially in a small park like that Geauga Lake had 4 in one year when Six Flags took over. (Or maybe it was 3. Regardless, at least 4 in 2 years.) It's been about 5 years since I road the Villain, but it was fun then. Extremely smooth. Now I know that isn't the case anymore, but with some track work, it could be smooth again.

Did you see them today? And how many of Raging Wolf Bob trains are there?

I never said that. I just said if the Villain cars are indeed at KI, (which we still don't know 100%), in my opinion, there would be a better chance of The Villain then new SOB trains.

Why on earth would SOB be getting new trains again? These trains are fine... so far. I'm more so thinking Villain for 08.

I saw a picture of Congo Falls this year... it doesn't look the best. I don't expect it to be there in another 5 years, maximum. And I heard this rumor before here on KIC. Didn't take off though.

You forgot Idora Park. I guess the Wildcat was ranked as one of the top wooden coasters before the fire. (Thats just what I heard though.)
