I would agree with you had this still been Paramounts, or anyone else except Mr. Kinzel that is in charge. He loves Kings Island, and I truly believe that this was one of the few reasons he purchased the Paramount Parks. Plus, look at Firehawk. It may be a "used" ride, but people still love it. People are waiting 5 hours for it. It's bringing in people. Its working. Its going to bring in money. And the coaster didn't break one record. Imagine if they put in a record breaking coaster. People would go crazy.

There is so much room on that ride. The only way I could see someone not being allowed to ride is if the ride ops themselves tell them they can't ride. (At least from what I remember from X-Flight. I haven't been on FH yet.)

It all depends where at the lower leg restraint is. If it hits in the wrong spot, it hurts a little bit. The thing that makes the FH OTSR better is that they are more around you neck, and not all around your head.

If I may ask, what, specifically was the reason? It was really painful with the OTSR. You hit your head pretty hard on the restraints. It stopped a lot of people from riding the ride.

May I ask where the on ride photo was? I see the photo booth, but where is your picture taken? Also, when the seats lowered. Did they lower in the station or going up the hill?

I would like to say that you werent the only one to visit www.pki.com yesterday and check out the ride info. Atleast now that it was pointed out here, people will see it. I know, I'm just saying. They litterally mount the camera on the train. Sometimes people don't (it's illegal, don't try it yourself. It could really hurt someone), and they are pretty bad.

I agree with you there, but when you think about it. Tear the ride down, or slow it down. The choice is clear.

I love the SOB too. Sure it's a little rough, but for an amazing coaster, I'm willing to give up a little. So, there still is no official word on the exact trains? We all know their G trains, but nothing else?

I love those Paw Prints! I wish they would have brought them back. When your a kid, those little things are the things your remember for the longest time.

No, I mean, where at on the ride is the photo station? ex: Beast is at the bottom of the hill, SOB before the hill (horrible spot,) Vortex on the Boomerang, ect.. Should have worded that more clearly.

Once upon a time it was sold, along with other headache remedies, at the exit to Flight of Fear. Rather odd, that. I remember that now. Never rode it with the OTSR though. Pretty happy I didn't.

If thats the case, they could make a lot if they would locate one right outside of SOB. (SOB is my favorite ride, it is just a little rough.)

Thanks for the pictures of FH. So, the track itself. Is it all in place? Or is there some left. Hard to tell what they have/don't have done on the far end of the ride.

Thanks for posting the park map. I would really love to see rest of it if you could scan it. 10 years is too long. I really want The Fairly Odd Coaster to be renamed back to The Beastie.

I'm sorry for being a little confused with this... So, the OFTS has a buckle on the end of it. The belt comes up from between the leg area, correct?

So... Theres a seatbelt that goes over the lap, and another one similar to the Corkscrew seat belt?
