  1. I was at KI when they filmed The Beast segment in the station. What time can I find that on TV?
  2. How do Christians force their beliefs on other people? As a Christian, I can't even pray in school, at least out loud. And no, not all Christians hate the (being politically correct) homosexual community. Sure, God says marriage is between a man and a women. But he also says to love your neighbor like yourself. All rumor shasher wanted to know was when that date was. He didn't asked to be attacked by some people. I personally feel this topic should be left at that. And going to Rumor Smashers last point, about just wanting to live life. For me, which is one of the things that lead my to be a Christian, just living life from day to day, at least for me, is pointless. I work my whole life, but for what? When I die, I loose all of my possessions. Being a Christian gives me a purpose, to wake up everyday.
  3. I haven't been able to ride as many coasters as I would. But from POV's, and reviews... I'd go for the Voyage at Holiday World. Second would be El Toro from Six Flags Great Adventure.
  4. Firehawk was Cedar Fair. I have thought about this too. Paramount did add a whole bunch to the park. But who's to say that had Taft still owned the park, the same wouldn't have happened? And under Paramount, Flight of Fear would have been closed all this year, and would be removed during the off-season.
  5. I've never been on either, but how did TTD beat out Kingda Ka? At least Kingda Ka has the records. Personally, I would rather have a hyper coaster like Magnum or MF compared to TTD or KK.
  6. Ya, that would be pretty cool. AFX defiantly needs work, whether that be a new film, or a totally new ride in that area.
  7. If you want the smoothest seat then you want in one of the last two cars IMO but either way it would be a lot smoother then the front and you may feel like you are going a little bit faster also. If you only got one ride though, how do we know that the front isn't smoother then it was last week?
  8. The Beast crew has been the best while I was at the park. Very, very little stacking, if none at all.
  9. He didn't by chance mention why it went down, did he?
  10. I was eating dinner when I saw that it was stuck. For about 5 minutes, the people were stuck up on one of the hills. Then it appeared they got the train free, and it slowly started to go down the track. Then it looked liked they changed their mind, and decided to raise it again, so they could drop it. That would make sense if it was stuck up on the second hill, so it had speed. Anyways, when it got all the way up to the top, it got stuck again. We saw it stuck for about 10 minutes total, and we headed back towards The Beast. At around 8, we saw the train in the exact position as it was when it was stuck. Except this time, no one was in the train.
  11. I'm next to positive it's the worlds largest structure. And I think what PKIVortex was saying is that since it is 208 feet tall, it uses a lot of wood, making it the largest wooden structure.
  12. If Son of Beast gets torn down, don't expect a new coaster in that area any time soon. The price for tearing down the largest wooden structure in the world could easily equal the price of a new coaster.
  13. The Zoo will rebuild the Wyandot Lake. They are separating it into a wet and a dry park. Sea Dragon is staying, and I heard someone say that they may build another small coaster. It should be ready for next summer.

I know. Just the point was that a coaster could be converted.

Sure and in theory Face off could be converted to a suspended coaster and racer could be converted to a steel coaster. To answer your question, no they're not. I dont believe any standup coasters have ever made in which the side wheels ran on the inside of the track. http://www.rcdb.com/id125.htm Started out as a mine ride. It was then converted to a stand up. Now it is back to a mine ride again. But it was converted.
  16. I hope I'm not on your car then.
  17. Raging Wolf Bobs or Big Dipper?
  18. There are so many people who have said they have. You doubt all of them? And yes, there are laws. But back in 1979, there weren't.
  19. So pretty much a better question would then be whats your friends pant size.
  20. Wouldn't your waste size be a better measurement? Everyone is different, and so is weight. Sometimes it's more in the face or upper body, which honestly wouldn't effect your ability to ride coasters. Your waste is where the lap bar is, which would be the preventing factor on coasters.
  21. How come the poll options changed? I already voted, and then they changed. Now I can't vote. Anyways, I'm thrilled to death that it opened up again. That sound of that chain makes Action Zone in my opinion. So I would have voted: "Hooray! I am so happy! I missed SOB very much."
  22. Did the ride appear to be faster? Did the ride open at park opening time? Did it shut down at all during the time? Were both trains running? Any pain? Lastly, how did the restraints feel? Sorry for all the questions.
  23. Wow! That is GREAT news. Hope to see pictures from someone here soon.
  24. The websites title also says Paramounts Kings Island still too though. The website isn't always the most up to date.
  25. As long as it opens, I couldn't really care how it is.
