  1. If the seat belts go from the restraints down to the seat, I believe people who are bigger will be absolutely fine. However, it's when you go from left side to right side, (or vice versa) is when you will have a bit of an issue on certain rides.
  2. I haven't heard about the trains being confirmed as used. We'll, if you can't get anyone to make trains, guess used is the way to go.
  3. What were all the rides that had seat belts for the 2006 season?
  4. I don't mind that theming, but no breath smell...
  5. I'm sorry, I read that wrong. I could have sworn I read week. Probably me just wishing it more than anything...
  6. Ya, I like the idea a lot. Can't wait to see it. And can't wait to see next weeks Firehawk update!
  7. Most historically significant is debatable... Not everyone will eventually agree on one, but look at The Beast. It set the standard for wooden coasters. But then even look at the coaster that lead to The Beast... The Racer. The Racer showed that the public still enjoyed wooden coasters, and it defiantly lead to multiple coasters being built.
  8. I never said I was the one who filmed or posted that on Youtube. I just simply found the link and posted it. Yes, I had read that whole 3 pages on that... But back on topic though. Has anyone heard anything else?
  9. My parents rode The Wildcat at Idora... To bad it burned down before I had a chance to ride it. It looked really fun.
  10. What was that supposed to do though? If anything, I would think it would speed up, with less weight to drag it down.
  11. However, I'm sure KI got these trains at a really good price. So, maybe next season we could see better trains?
  12. Did you really just say that The Beast is smooth as glass? It has its moments, but it is regarded as great ride that is unforgiving to some who ride it! I noticed a big change in beast after the month of september. When they redid some of the track in the helix, it really improved it. Compared to other woodies, this one is great-and most coasters bother me to some degree, but beast doesn't. I can't say it enough-it is an absolute gem. They retracked it in September? Thats good news. If anywhere, it needed it the most. The next place that needs retracked (not saying it needs it, but within the next 10 years, hopefully it will be redone), is the last turn before the second hill.
  13. Could KI maybe use part of the trains to fit the SOB Track gauge?
  14. Did you really just say that The Beast is smooth as glass? It has its moments, but it is regarded as great ride that is unforgiving to some who ride it! You have to admit for a nearly 30 year old wooden coaster, it is extremely smooth. Just look at The Racer, or some of them at CP. Or the Villain at GL, or Ragin Wolf Bobs before it was totally retracked. You will understand what I mean then. And TOPGUN1993 has an extremely good point. How about The Beastie. There are only two trains on that.
  15. I highly doubt that they will go on at least The Beast. Those trains are perfectly fine, and I honestly don't see how they could edit the trains to make a better ride... it's as smooth as glass, especially for it's age. However... The Racer is another story. But I still doubt that they will change the trains on it. So, with that being said, they could go on The Son of Beast. But I hope not. That would kill. But the spare parts may be a great reason. I'm sure KI probably bought them for an extremely cheap price. On Gerstauler website, there is nothing said about a project for KI. However, they do have a lot of other projects posted there.
  16. Personal opinion. I don't see why the train manufacture would force KI to modify them, and not do it themselves. If no one believes him, why doesn't someone else try to contact them, and see what they say.
  17. The Beast for me is a special coaster. It was one of my first coasters (3rd to be exact, the other two were in Disney in Florida, so we'll just say it was my first), and it was the first real coaster that I liked. I just opened my eyes on part of the ride, and I have been a coaster fan ever since. Those are amazing pictures. Thanks for posting them.
  18. If Son of Beast gets anywhere near the word smooth, I garentee it will be in the top 10 wooden coasters in the world...
  19. First, Go Bucks! Next year all depends on our quarter back. But we're fine in the running game. SOB is a great coaster. Your going to have people who hate it... but your going to have people who hate every ride. They won't tear it down unless there is another problem with it. But with Cedar Fair, I think their going to be patient, and make sure that they get it working. Their going to do it right on their first time.
  20. King Cobra is too big. It wouldn't fit in that land. Plus, KI has 700 acres of land. They have only used around 384. Why take something out when you don't have too?
  21. Your not crazy at all. I love coasters, yet I height heights. The first ride when I'm at the park, I think to myself "I can't believe I'm about to do this. Up 100 plus feet on a wooden structure that is over 25 years old..." But, the second we're done with the drop, I'm almost ashamed to think that I was afraid 5 minutes ago. I hate heights, so I hate climbing the hills. I don't mine the drop, I just hate climbing the hill. That's why Flight of Fear is great.... no hill to climb.
  22. Ya, thats the one I was talking about. I didn't take any of the videos I posted. I never edit them either. The only exception to the edits is Batwing, but the video was filmed upsidedown...
  23. I've added a good deal of videos to Youtube.com There is a lot of Cedar Point videos, as well as KI. All of them are mounted POV. I also was able to find a video from Batwing, an identical coaster to X-Flight. Just search xflight pov and you should be able to find it.
  24. That is horrible, how PKI can't run it. I'd just like to add on their forum, theres a little topic called: "Geauga Lake Worker Took Nude Photos Of Co-Workers" Ya, your right. PKI can't run it. http://www.geaugaguide.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1219
  25. You gotta go and get the pics.
