Fire at Cedar Point

Fire can kill smaller parks. See Idora for example. -
Cedar Point Ticket Prices

It may of not been registered, but could have easily been hand punched in. Really good deal Mejer offers on those tickets though! -
OFFICIAL! Son of Beast Will NOT Operate in 2010
Hendrick replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
I'm the same way. I choose KI over CP simply because SOB. To me, it's by far my favorite coaster. Without it, I minus well spend the extra half hour car ride, and go to CP. -
Confused as to what the App would do/be.

:( CONEY ISLAND (NY): What now?
Hendrick replied to The Interpreter's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Up to 10 years. Will be interesting to see what they do with the park. -
Have to be honest, I'm almost in the middle of Cedar Point and Kings Island. If Son of Beast were to be closed forever, I would stop going down to KI, and just go up to CP. I know a good amount of people hate it, but I for one, love it. It's the reason I choose KI over CP.

Spirit Song Thursday, Friday and Saturday at KI
Hendrick replied to The Interpreter's topic in Kings Island
I really wish I could attend. Skillet, Switchfoot, Remedy Drive, they all are on my iPod with whole albums. (And I know songs by 8 other bands). I've always enjoyed Skillets music, especially the Comatose album. However, Awake is shaping up to be a great album, at least, from listening to Hero. Switchfoot might also be playing a few new songs from their upcoming album, Hello Hurricane. -
See: Cache Basically, in an effort to make pages load faster, your web browser downloaded the picture to your computer... in time it'll be updated, or you can clear it yourself.

Make sure you choose the bottom option on the image size on Photobucket, as that'll ensure they are as large as possible.

So, Son of Beast has a wider gauge, simply for the trains? That's the only reason? Also, Hurricane: Category Five did not have the same width as Son of Beast did. The trains were modified, and you can tell if you look close enough.

Cedar Fair looking to layoff spongebob and friends

If this rumor is true, is there any chance of them renaming FOC back to Beastie? -
iChase does have a very good solution there. Mac's solve everything! As for installing XP, Window's installation is pretty hard to mess up... it pretty much walks you through it all. But, the big problem with installing XP is obtaining a license. It'll cost you about a $100 for a copy of XP Home. And if you do decide to purchase XP (don't buy it just for NoLimits... I'm saying this because a lot of people have sworn of Vista after using it for a little while, you may be different, so give it some time), I would hurry out to your store to buy the copy now... it'll soon start to disappear. (End of June...) Who makes your laptop, and what model is it? Maybe there is an update for your video card available.

Nope, theres only one side friction coaster left running in the US (Leap the Dips). The Jackrabbit was not a side friction coaster at all. http://www.rcdb.com/id243.htm

I'll add a few POV to your list. <-- Higher Quality Jack Rabbit <-- Back Wabbit <-- Baby Wildcat When the Wildcat burned down, it was ranked in the top 10 wooden coasters at the time. What a shame. And as for the Jack Rabbit, it doesn't have upstops.

I'm not sure on how you would like to define modern, but the Jack Rabbit at Idora Park, which closed in 1984, I believe didn't have upstops. http://www.idorapark.org/gallery/memorabil...abbit_car_1_002 http://www.idorapark.org/gallery/memorabil...abbit_car_1_001

How will this message be released, do you know? A possible online article, a local news channel, any idea?

You didn't by change get the email yesterday, did you?

But at least that one has a bit of truth to it. I remember someone posting an old picture of a newspaper clipping, about King Cobra having the last car derailed in the helix. But no one died. I also want to say it was opening year for it too.

A park employee tried to convince me that shortly after the accident, they were going to tear down Son of Beast.
