K.I. in 2008
I have to agree with you Teenageninja. I do not want to even compare the Snoopy kids area to Nickolodeon Universe. Both are in my mind great children's areas and nothing more and certainly nothing less. The simple matter is that like yourself, when I have been to Cedar Point I see mostly early teens to adults. However in all the times I go to Kings Island, Avatar and many other attractions in NU have a longer line than half the thrill rides in the park. I would deffinately like to see how the attendence of children under 13 compares between Kings Island and Cedar Point. As Interpreter pointed out in regards to the "Attendee's point of view", It seems that NU at KI is always packed to the gills, and you can see children walking all over the park. I see this activity very little at Cedar Point.

I believe that Kings Island will be turning this equation around by the end of the next decade. Just my opinion.

Hanna Barbera
He is not even capable? Really? No one, no, not one SINGLE person on this board other than you would ever say that Jzarley has ever written a post or stated an opinion that was not coherent, or not capable of debating or understanding the topic at hand. Having a little Ego trip this morning? You ask him to not insult you, yet you insult him in the same sentence? Tell me where did you learn that what you ask for yourself is better than what another person asks for themselves? He didn't attack your "pride" The fact of the matter is your first post was EXTREMELY hard to understand...well, maybe that is why you are an animator and not a story writer. I know you do not want to realize it but I, like Jzarley have attempted reading your first post, and this last post as well, multiple times, and am still having trouble understanding what you are trying to say. Don't start mudslinging on here...Don't insult others, and don't start this egomaniac mantra on the forums and clutter up the informed discussion. If you do, I am quite sure the mods will remind you. Please just take more time to proofread your arguments, they are very hard to understand.

Hanna Barbera
I agree with pretty much everything you said Jzarley. There is simply one film that I do not think would be the same with simple 2-D animation. That film would be Toy Story. I do not know why, I just feel like the story and animation style fit perfectly. Now I am not saying Toy Story would not have been good with out 3-D animation, but I think toys would not look like the physical toys of our youth in 2D, and thus a greater emotional and physical attachment to the film's plot and story line in 3D. I try not to take an angle that Animation or Story is better, as I think both contribute harmoniously to the ultimate product. But if I was being forced to pick one I would definitely agree with Lassiter, a story is timeless, the way that story is told changes with the times. Something has to be awfully important to evade change.

The Original Jurassic Park, blended CGI perfectly...Of course now you can tell that it is obviously green/blue screen. But when it came out, the dino's looked so real.

Dave & Busters Exploring Possible Sale
It would have been, My mom and I are extremely close, she wanted to do something extra special for me. Which I most greatfully appreciated. My mother tried to get a stretch Hummer, but it was like 600 dollars an hour or some other outrageous price so we decided to go against it, we rented a large Chrysler Mini-Van instead

UD is completely technologically learning based now...except for with select teachers. I usually have my laptop on with internet in any class that I have. Mostly taking notes.

Dave & Busters Exploring Possible Sale
I went to Dave and Buster's for my Sweet 16! I obviously thought something of the place to spend the day of my 16th there! My friends and I had power Cards in the 200 dollar range compliments of my mom, and all we could eat...It was AMAZING!

Rare Texas Longhorns Highlight Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede
We definitely did make our concerns known. The GR staff was very helpful. SDC also has the most conservative weather/rides operations procedure I have ever seen. And that is to say a lot, as rain frequents the area. Even many indoor rides were shut down, during a sprinkle, I tried very hard to understand that idea.

Rare Texas Longhorns Highlight Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede
The one property of Herschend's that has not met my expectations however, is Silver Dollar City. It is a nice park, but people wearing 1850's clothes should not be talking on their cell phones while making Lye soap. I saw that all to often...cell phone usage was rampant among many workers. Most workers were helpful. Many were not. Craft demonstrations were top tier. The entertainment department left much to be desired except for the big finale country show at the end of the day in the big outdoor theater that they have. It was a nice park, with a nice atmosphere, it will be a while before I am back however as it still suffered from many other downfalls, which most certainly are extremely fixable. Certainly Dollywood is world class. And Herschend does do many great things. I wish Silver Dollar City could have capitalized on all that Herschend really is. During my visit they did not.

I will be there opening day!

Indiana Beach Sold
You just had to didn't you? lol. I agree with Gordon, I am skeptical when these types of transactions take place based on what I have witnessed in the past. I must admit though, it is not necessarily the buyer that will make the biggest impact on a park, but its management team. In the case of Lesourdsville Lake, had there been a better manager than the Pughes, we may still be riding the SE!

Rare Texas Longhorns Highlight Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede
I must STRONGLY encourage you all to see a Dixie Stampede Dinner show. There are very few things as energetic, wholesome, and entertaining as a Dixie Stampede. The hospitality of the hosts is unmatched. Disney World has some mighty fine hosts, but wow, you get true southern hospitality at Dolly's Dinner Shows. So many majestic animals, and comedy (GREAT family comedy), Some of the best food you will ever eat. I cannot sing enough praises for The Dixie Stampeeeeeeeede! When I was 6 years old, I was lucky enough to be involved in the show and go down to the center of the arena and chase chickens for a chance at James Rogers tickets LIVE at the Music Mansion. I won the tickets, and since then have been absolutely indulged with everything the place has to offer, on nearly every vacation! The Texas Longhorns will be a nice touch. The stampeding American Bison at the other attractions were a great success with the audience when they debuted! 1000 Posts! About time!

(Serpent from Americana) Roller Coaster Coming to Kochville Township, Michigan
Mmmm, fudge...I get fudge usually from every park that I go to (or somewhere around the park if it is a local brand). It is somewhat of a tradition. Really IMO during the mid 90's LL/Americana had some of the best amusement park food I have ever eaten. I remember walking out of a smoothie shop with a strawberry daquarii, and some other fruits under the night sky as the Electric Rainbow spun in front of me with all the lights reflecting off the lake. It was just a beautiful time to be able to experience.

(Serpent from Americana) Roller Coaster Coming to Kochville Township, Michigan
I will ride it again, at that price, if I must. The Serpent was my very first Roller Coaster. I miss LL, I hope that something miraculous would happen with what is left of the park. Sometimes miracles do happen.
