I was speaking in terms of consumer confidence. I do think that while it may not be a direct impact a rising stock price sure won't hurt the company, and perhaps could allow a greater chance of refinancing the debt which they need.

^Though if many, many thousands did invest with hopes of option C, option C could easily be the outcome. Optimism is definitely what people need right now. Stock market has shown slight increases the end of last week and so far this week may be a sign of good things to come. Stay positive and you'll get positive results.

Which is in sharp contrast to other reviews I've seen from this year. I say go for it, it's a great park with great coasters as mentioned earlier. I would however suggest spend a little extra time and go to the GA Aquarium or possibly a side trip to Lake Winnie (though not sure if the Lake is open yet).

You wouldn't get much selling the stock at that price. It's really more like time to buy the stock if you haven't already. In general, consumers will have to start showing more confidence if we are to pull of the recession.

The slides like this are the one's where if it's no too busy I'll go up ride down one. Go back up and ride the next one, then the next til I determine my favorite. Might take a few times each to decide.

I have to say in a world where water parks are getting tornado and bowl slides I'm actually glad to see this installation.

Mindbender for sure, Batman clones are always good. The rapids ride is great, Acrophobia is as good or better than Drop Zone. If they have Monster Mansion open GO! If you want to see how rough SOB could be ride the Georgia Cyclone. If your mad at your head and want to smack it around ride Ninja. Of course hit Goliath and the Wheelie is a great classic.

While I would like to see a larger investment made into the park. I think Herschend may actually turn this park around.

I'm really not wanting to be a party pooper here but here's my concern. Lots of folks on here are saddened by BLSC taking away from the atmosphere of the park. Diamondback while I really can't wait to ride it, the ride has taken away a lot while of course adding itself and what's hopeful to be greatness. Again I think the ride will be great but I don't get why they had to put it as they have. I'm all for a trek into the woods but couldn't you start closer to it?

I would also think that it would be in the renderings too but possible they didn't want to spend the extra man hours to render it. Dunno, I just think it would be a major missed opportunity if they don't put one in. They don't have to take the whole walkway over there but a little offset would work.

Private messages can be a wonderful thing for a few of the last posts. On topic, can't wait to splash down this summer. Will there be any spectator splash area? Or is that still an unknown?

I'm sure many of us like myself have had the opportunity to have ridden both. I am not against SOB I actually love the coaster, but for fun elements and a non stop pace I give the edge to Thunerhead. I do think some of the other ones mentioned sound great too but I can't give a fair opinion on those, quite possible they would knock down my view of Thunderhead. But again, I can't give a fair opinion on it.

SOB is over twice as tall as Thunderhead which would you prefer? So glad to see GCI doing an out n back terrain coaster. While yeah the wording makes it seem very Beast like it moves far differently than The Beast. Besides same parent company, they could call it The Beast if they had wanted just be glad they didn't do that.

The Fly-O-Planes at Lake Winnie. Just because I got the am I gonna die factor. You try squeezing two guys around 200lbs in those things then get it stuck upside down I kept hoping for the ride to end which ended up being a very long cycle. Metal bar across your lap holding you in with 200lbs pressing against you on one side and looking at the little cotter pin keeping the door closed. Definitely not the scariest looking ride but those circumstances freaked me out a bit.

Just a bit of a side note on HRP, with the cafe complaining about how the park tarnished their image you'd think the cafe would be more willing to make it a success. IE: help promote the park, give a few years free of licensing to a new buyer, or since they think they are so great why don't they just operate the park themselves. Now on topic, while it would be great for Cedar Fair or anyone to pick GWL at a bargain price it would be much better for GE to wade the storm out. The American people are very resilient and while we may not have hit the bottom yet, we will come back and we will see growth like never before. I suggest positive thinking in this economic enviroment, if everyone had a positive view and acted as such, we can get ourselves out of this hole much quicker.

hmmm.... I remember years ago going to "Kings & Queens" weekend and staying at the campground very fun times indeed and that was with missing out on the Friday night event. I have been planning a 4 park trip around that time starting on a tuesday with Kings Island and circling my way around to Indiana Beach then Holiday World and ending on a Friday at Kentucky Kingdom. With this event looks like I may just reverse my trip. Thanks for bringing this up it was pure coincidence that I found out about anything the first time this sounds great to me. Now just to see who I can drag with me (no pun intended) from TN.

How did Tomb Raider/Crypt fit into Rivertown, there's always the possibility that there could be a new area of the park with a ride like what I expect this might be. Not saying I like that idea but it's happened many times at other parks..... ie: with Thunderhead came Thunderhead Gap.. come Timber Tower it becomes Timber Canyon.... then Mystery Mine it remains the same but then a small area in between Craftsmen Valley and Timber Canyon becomes Wilderness Pass... and there's more examples even in that one park.

I'm not sure of how Ohio laws work on this but here in Knoxville there have been many homes with an issued "historical" status. Sounds great but what's happened around here time after time is that the developer goes right ahead and takes a wrecking ball to it. Why, because the $5o fine (literally) is chump change compared to what the land is worth.

Disney has wanted to get into the VA market and their a natural fit in Florida and they both like alcahol sales. Herschend has been growing very rapidly and have already began ventures into aquariums and animal theme parks, they bid on the sale of the several six flags park so any possibility Busch Gardens could become a beerless garden?

I'm interested to see ACE's official response to this.
