  1. I'm sure if you started that yourself you'd get tons of emails from enthusiasts giving you their 2 cents about rides/parks. And it's not really that bad of an idea and like I said you really wouldn't have to look too far for votes.
  2. ^ I think it should because I have the same fear.
  3. I'm already ecstatic. Hopefully the plan will come out soon.
  4. Sorry but I didn't realize that it was already posted about because I've been busy for a while.
  5. Well hopefully it'll receive a paint job if they keep it because the slide looks horrible.
  6. What didn't you like about Maverick?
  7. I would definitely like them to add onto X-Base and make it officially it's own area (since on the map technically it's apart of Coney Mall). Oktoberfest is kinda land locked so the only way they could expand it is to probably taken out Adventure Express which won't happen. Expansion will happen sometime (probably not for many years) but the only shaky part is how to work around the rides that are already there to get the land.

    eek! Top gun!

I agree. Iron Dragon may be longer but I like Top Gun a lot more. I would hate to see Top Gun go.
  9. The two of the three times I haven't done this I had LaRosa's so my vote would have to go with that.
  10. Well there's no apparent signs of construction around the park so I doubt there'd be any large coaster being installed. There could be a chance of getting something smaller like a wild mouse but nothing to brag about. So I feel I'd go along with the original post... I was going to say the exact same thing. It is an extremely fun ride and I feel it could go well with X-Base. With many else, I feel that KI needs at least one table service restaurant. The only thing I'm afraid of is what The Interpreter mentioned...

All items that have Paramount on them are 60% off. I have a Scooby-Doo and Spongebob shirt because of this discount.
  12. Wow! That was weird to see the landscape without many of the trees and the double helix without the tunnel and interesting to see the original slide brake in the brake shed with people standing on the side and the old trains making their runs. I also noticed that the train barely made it to the final brake run and there were wheels on the side to propel it into the station.
  13. Yeah, I agree. The turn around after the second drop looked pretty awesome but after that the hills look like hills. Yeah, if you look closely at the renderings you can see that it looks like some of supports for the lift hill will go through IJ. That's very odd for them to build another coaster on top of a themed ride.
  14. Skyline Chili Vision in the queues isn't that bad because it plays such contemporary hits as Huey Lewis and the News "Hip To Be Square." But more seriously I'm usually not in line that long that it would bother me to hear a song over and over but I do every once in a while hear a song I know so that's good. The employees are usually pretty good in being happy and making everyone else's experience likewise but there have been several times when I've tried to give a high five to an employee but they've left me hanging; very demoralizing. My vote was for prices, especially the food.
  15. I think you underestimate the effect of scantily clad women I think both bring interesting features to KI and would've liked both to be able to be somewhere in the park but there was obviously a reason KCKC was taken out.
  16. I'm not sure if you've seen it up at UC, Uncle, but there's a car I've seen parked in University Avenue Garage with the license plate "PWND LOL" I'm starting to think it's yours...
  17. Well the track would have to be made of cheese. That sounds like a bold strategy DeLorean Rider, let's see if it pays off.
  18. Exactly. There are two main types of coasters: wood and steel. It doesn't matter if the supports are made of wood, steel, plastic, or Styrofoam it only matters what the train wheels touch. The Voyage and Cyclone might have steel supports and The Beast and Racer might be have wood supports but they are all wooden coasters because that is the type of track that they ride on.
  19. That's exactly why I didn't vote for it lol The Screamin' Squirrel just looks weird. I was thinking about going Impulse but since there's one at CP and other parks around I went with the Half-Pipe because it looks pretty awesome.
  20. I'm pretty sure I started going to KI with my family back in the early to mid 90's but this is the first year I've had a season pass. I stumbled across KIC earlier this year while I was looking at ScreamScape and they posted some awesome construction photos of a new flying ride for Kings Island. I followed the link with the photos and after reading the forums for a while decided I might as well create an account since I have a season pass.
  21. That many people on a Thursday? I've been multiple times on Thursdays and it's never been overly crowded. I guess it has to deal with school starting soon so people are rushing to the park to get some last minute fun in. I'm sorry to hear you had to leave.

    Take a Ride Out

I don't know if it's considered a ride or not or if it's even open but the building where the laser tag is/was should be taken out. I have yet to see it open on an weekday I've been this year so it's obviously not making enough money to be open everyday even if it's open at all. If this is done, KI could easily have a new area of expansion on the other side of The Racer which could possibly be connected to X-Base. I wouldn't mind Days of Thunder being taken out because I'm never going to pay money to do something I'll be doing on my way to and on my way from KI. I've done it once during P&G Days but it was free and you should've seen the line. I'm pretty sure it was full all day from what I remember. I don't think Action FX Theater should be taken out. I just think it needs to be improved. They could take the route of the moving vehicle motion simulator like Spiderman at IOA or Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom or Indiana Jones at Disneyland. I feel that would attract the crowds but it'd also cost a LOT of money. The least they could do is add a new movie.
