HoliWood Nocturne
Jesse, Another great TR...you keep surprising me. I was impressed with how you came up with photos to match the lyrics! (And you also stumped me on the song that you used.)

Where were you when Diamondback struck?
And I am one of the some...and I prefer to think I do because I know my classic television...not because i'm old.

First Trip Tomorrow, Resort/Lodging Question
The Kings Island Resort does still have a shuttle service... http://www.kingsislandresort.com/information.html ...but to place blame where it belongs, it is Cedar Fair that does not allow them to drop off their guests inside the park any longer. They now drop you off at the public drop-off area by the sign...and I would be willing to bet that if the park could stop that they would!

Awesome New KI Merch
That IS a lot of cool stuff...the towel is great!!! Paul, thanks for posting the pictures...I may have missed the towel if not for you.

Memorial Day Crowd
I'm envisioning a future trip report from your daughter...it would go something like this: I'm glad you had a good time!

Luna Park Opens at Coney Island
That's cool...when I was there around 10 years ago it was pretty depressing. A little story when I rode The Cyclone: My friends and I were the only ones on the train...as we were about to leave the operator noticed that I was holding my old school film camera in my hand. (It wouldn't fit in my pocket.) Anyway he comes up and says "You better let me hold on to that or you'll lose it". I thought to myself "This guy doesn't even know what a REAL coaster is...if I can hold onto stuff on The Beast it will be a piece of cake on this little thing". I must admit that we were all surprised how intense of a ride it gave for it's size...I knew then why it was a classic!

Kings Island's 5@5 Q&A Thread
5@5 is a cool name...but I can see where not only are they too busy during the summer...but people are running out of questions. I think it would be more than enough if they answered 7 questions in one shot a week. I hope this doesn't get discontinued completely...it has been one of the nicest things the park has done in a long time.

PTR: Starlight Spectacular
Zach, Excellent job. (As always) The colors just seem to jump off of the computer screen! It will be a little longer until I make it to the park so this should hold me 'til then. Thanks!!!

Mini TR for 5-23
Nice "mini" trip report! I know that non-enthusiasts probably consider it "nerdy"...but it really is cool to be on the last train of the evening...especially in the front!

KI TR 5/27/2010
I am glad your trip went so well! It was fun to have somebody comparing Planet Snoopy to HB Land...and not NU...it was like a time warp. I loved reading this comment...this is what a trip to the park with little ones should be. You must be great parents. (2 things at the park break my heart...a parent forcing a kid to ride something...and a kid waiting in a "kiddie coral" all by their lonesome.)

Kings Island & Holiday World PTR
Nick, Thanks for the trip report...because of the weather you endured it made for a "different" type of report. As always you take some very good photos...I liked these 3 the best: A nice combination of the fountain & Delirium. A cool effect. That's a lot of water! I love riding coasters in the rain...it seems like more of an adventure! I have 2 things to say about your comment: #1. You seem to hold a grudge as well as I do. #2. I have been holding my tongue for years when I have read your posts in the past...but I can take it no more! It's wOnder...not wAnder!!! Since you are a Hoosier you of all people should know what wander means...you guys had that "Wander Indiana" slogan going for years! So, now I guess i'll wander away wondering if I made a difference today!

Guests Say The Darnest Things
Not that "you kids" will have a clue who he is/was...but Art Linkletter, the host of "Kids Say The Darndest Things" passed away today...age 97. This one's for you Interpreter!

Dancing Kids at the shows
I have found that it is sometimes more entertaining watching the kids dancing rather than what's going on on stage...seriously.

Kudos to KI
^And in the irony department...the store where I work used to be painted a "decent blue"...but we got tired of that a long time ago...so here I sit in a room filled with a ton of that "ugly lime green"!

Kudos to KI
I guess this is this thread's theme song: Monty Python's "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life" I do have a question...if you are not supposed to post anything negative in a positive thread is it considered equally as rude to post something positive in a negative thread?

"Click!" Let's Have Fun & See Those KI 2010 Pictures
The season is just beginning...I am sure that more and more people will show off a photo or two! As for me, I have not made it to the park yet this year...but once I do hopefully I will have something to contribute.

Kings Island's 5@5 Q&A Thread
I also took it that the answerer was making a joke that that's all he watches is ESPN...I thought it was a good line!

Early 1979 Kings Island Color Book.
I don't think I ever saw Dynomutt walking around in the park.

Kings Island's 5@5 Q&A Thread
I think MOST people simply use the usual customer service phone number or e-mail address. I think it is the more dedicated/concerned ones who go to the effort of digging up the GM's e-mail address. (And only the MOST dedicated who dig up his home address! ) If he doesn't want to be "bothered" with e-mails why have an e-mail address that the public has access too? (Just my thoughts though.) I STILL think it is not beneath a GM to take time out of his busy day to answer a few well written e-mails that are not the "Is Son of Beast ever gonna re-open" type.

Kings Island's 5@5 Q&A Thread
I think it is a sad statement that you seem to not only accept but condone that a GM shouldn't bother to actually reply to a question/concern from a paying customer himself. (He is not a God...just the head of an amusement park chain.) P.S. I am not a Platinum Pass holder.
