  1. I thought that was what I was doing?!
  2. As I mentioned, if you "know" him you would know that it was not meant to be mean spirited. Check out some of his older posts and you will find that he is a very valuable member of this site...check out the "KIC What Happened" thread. If a performer is a regular member of this site they know what kind of poster he is.
  3. Oh, who asked you?!
  4. Sarcasm...I love it! Kirk...it's possible that if you don't know BavarianBeatle his post may come off wrong...but I know it was not meant to be mean.
  5. If they could just think of someone else to sue...you know what they say "Third times a charm".
  6. I thought about that while I was typing up my post...but i'm talking about "normal" people!
  7. Personally I have never understood why the park even has them...what is the difference if you know what rides are closed before you go in? Who does it stop from going in? Here is my "logic": People like myself who drive hours to get to the park are not going to drive all that way and turn around if 1 or 2 or even 3 rides are closed. People who live nearby are probably either Season Pass holders...or who have been to the park enough where they can live without a few rides not running...so I think they are also just going to go on in. Am I wrong?
  8. Nice trip report. I am sure that you made someones day in the landscaping department with your kind words! It's hard to believe that this was your first trip of the season...but that's coming from a season pass holder who hasn't made it there yet either...and probably won't until early August.
  9. On the plus side...if those lines fell that chill would come off REAL qiuck!
  10. Tony Soprano comes a callin'!
  11. And in the men's restrooms you just know that the wet floors wouldn't be water! (I know that I wouldn't want to clean up a restroom where the guys are just aiming blindly.)
  12. I like the archway idea. (If nothing else we know we could count on CF hauling out pieces of it during Halloween Haunt. )
  13. I do not have anything to add to the conversation because I was not there...but I would like to thank the mods for leaving this topic up. I would have bet anything that this thread was going to disappear in the "heat of the night" last night.
  14. I wonder if I missed my chance at walking down the steps from the top of the Eiffel Tower observation deck? Anyone know? (Let me rephrase that before The Interpreter does his "yes" answer...did the park have to evacuate the top of tower and walk the customers down the steps to the bottom during this power outage?)
  15. Don't sugar-coat it...how do you REALLY feel about the ride?!
  16. Nice trip report and photos! Thanks for sharing.
  17. Walks of shame at Harry Potter... http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/movie-talk-harry-potter-fans-deemed-too-heavy-for-wizarding-world-ride.html
  18. ^Wow! Not only does your new telephoto lens get really close shots...it goes back in time.
  19. Whenever I see this I feel like I missed something "juicy"!
  20. How did this go from a discussion about a sign and a challenge, to a heated debate over CEO's go back to a discussion about a sign and a challenge?
  21. Age can matter...it just depends on what the person's job is. Sometimes with age a person can grow out of touch with something that they once excelled at. I don't think Alice Cooper could/should write a song like "School's Out" at his current age...for that you have to go to someone younger...so age can play a factor. (And yes I know he is still on the road...but when he sings that song now it does not have the same effect it did when he was younger.)
  22. A fun trip report to read...I ma glad you all had a good time. Which is what the park should be about!
  23. Obviously a certain top ride-op wasn't on duty!
  24. I like how you used a line from "The Godfather"...a Paramount release!
  25. Nice trip report! I commend you for taking the time to write it. I saw what you mean on Facebook...it doesn't look like most of the KIC'ers are thrilled to take the time to write one up...but in their defense I don't really blame them...if you look at how many replies a TR gets as opposed to the views it gets depressing...what is so hard about throwing on a comment after someone writes up a whole report? I try and leave at least some comment on each report I read. Thanks again!
