I think you are right. It might be to add additional stability to the first section of the hill.

Their fish and chips was really good. Saw some big portions coming out for all entrees. The wait time for a table was long, so we ate at the bar. Prices are average, liquor prices were same as throughout the park and just a bit pricey. The artifacts are really interesting to view.

I hate the traditional wheels, but I like the bucket type wheels. Plus any tall attraction is kind of an observation tower view, but it would have some motion to it. I also like the idea of the Disney type wheel/coaster. The one at DA is fun and different.

Two baby cranes are in the diving loop area this morning....yay!

A Power Tower, a western themed Break Dance in Rivertown, a Giant Wheel in Octoberfest . A Space Shuttle in X-Base along with a large version of the Trabant.

I think they are about to begin work on the diving loop. There sure are a lot of pieces around that area....right now they are doing something at the lift motor with a small crane. Edit: Baby crane is on the move and now under the lift headed towards the dive loop. Now Clifford is on the move...today is shaping up to be exciting in the construction phase!

I love all seats, but I like it in the front and the back on all of them. On Diamondback, rows 5,6,7....most airtime.

Attack of the Praying Mantis.....AHHHHHHH! edit: Judging by the angle of ascent, this ride is going to dive right to the ground!..... Woo Hoo!!! can't wait to ride this one! I also think this invert will slam to an upright position at the end....just by virtue of the speed through the valley.

Beautiful landscaping, cleanliness and well kept attractions are theming in my book. Take a look at any themed land at Disneyworld...the outside of a building and what surrounds it, is just as important as what's inside the building.

Believe it or not...there was a section themed around cheese..... When the skyride closed, the Octoberfest station was converted into a cheese and wine tasting attraction..... Actually, if the park would just put back the signs that indicated the beginning of each themed area that would be a start.

I think it was The Asylum. It was pretty cool but short...the best part was with the lights not on at the tower level, you couldn't see the railing and it looked like you were walking on a ledge....plus it was windy and cold..... I only wish they could have used both floors (but then it wouldn't have been ADA approved.... edit: I stand corrected!!!! It was Torture Tower, not Asylum.
