Went to KI today....there is a circle of footers behind the switch back curve of Flight Deck/or Topgun/or Swoops (whichever name you prefer) and the area where several trees were cut down behind AE has footers now.....It almost looks like the ride is kind of following the access road.... Didn't have my camera but it also looks like a line of trees in the forest from the edge of the rosebowl back towards the open field where SOB dropped over the hill into it's loop and parallel to the main park may have been cut through the woods.....(could be an illusion) Someone take pictures please!

It's to be expected.....It's California.... (I'm soooooo glad that KI has a gigantic buffer zone.)

The source of the bone chilling screams are mainly coming from the parking admission booth, admissions ticketing, foodservice registers and the Fastlane ticket booth........or from the speakers behind the fence..... (I'm only joking, so don't get your Underoos in a bunch!)

That's true, but consider that when it comes out of the helix, the supports become single and directly below the track, to support the downward weight of the coaster. Now look at this image of where the footers that can be seen are set up. On an invert there are many more supports...two to one over an above track coaster.

Interestingly, after posting this image..... It reminded me of Friday the 13th..... I believe that years ago, Paramount was pondering converting Rivertown into Camp Crystal Lake. When I heard this I created a background story for what I wished they would do and.....everyone took it seriously and I was flamed off the site as a troll....(I got over it, and everyone else has too I hope ) Anyways, here was my idea in a huge nutshell.... "There is a killer in the woods at (Paramount's) Kings Island. Guests this year will encounter the thrill of their lives as they venture into unknown territory with 'Friday the 13th the ride'. Guests are invited to become camp counselors at Camp Crystal Lake where they will have close encounters with it's infamous denizen Jason Voorhees. After attending counselor orientation (preshow in a camp cabin), guests will be hurried into their vehicle of escape. (B&M invert coaster, indoor loading platform). As the vehicle enters the first dark cabin, Jason suddenly attacks as the vehicle is launched through a series of movie scenes and inversions to the next cabin where it all happens again. But beware....Jason is lurking in many places and he is relentless! Guests won't know what direction he will come from.....ceiling, left, right, up or even from below! Will you be the sole survivor of Jason's attacks? Come spend your summer at Camp Crystal Lake....only at (Paramount's) Kings Island!" So........sound like fun??? Here is hoping to a launching invert!!!

Maybe the whole Banshee name thing is for a motor-cycle conversion of Back Lot Stunt Coaster.

From a tower view, you would think so....but up close, you could fit a dump truck between them.

Yesssss! That's it! There was also a light-up sign at the entrance of the ride that looked similar to this logo.

If they decide to call the new ride/coaster/whatever it is "The Bat", I hope they reuse that super awesome logo!

Hmmmm.....Didn't Mr. Oiumet say in a video that they wanted each park to be unique.....maybe they are going to partner with Paramount on Kings Island for ideas....(running to hide now before the flaming starts...)
