@jdawg Your description sounds like this to me.... I hear this every time I go to KI. It's David Guetta featuring Sia.

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
upstop replied to jcgoble3's topic in Kings Island
I've seen the stage there since opening day, but today there were speakers added. Maybe there is more to 2017 than just the falling tree zone? Maybe Oktoberfest will be getting a "classic ride" makeover for next year in addition to whatever is happening in RiverTown and the stage is there for a future announcement of some kind? -

Anyone have an idea of what the stage near Vikngs Fury is about? Today there were speakers set up on both ends facing the midway. -

Wouldn't a Verbolten type ride thematically fit in that dark forest behind the train station? -

Anyone experience anything new on WWC? I experienced the new entrance, but being soaked from head to toe is not an experience I want at the park, although I do enjoy seeing others have fun getting drenched. I was hoping for new soaking features. It would be cool to have more coin operated soaking features.... I could get into that... -

^^ unless it's something that's really really labor intensive and needs a whole lot of preparation that could take a couple of years to complete. Actually trees began clearing during Halloween Haunt last year... Right behind the train station. -

Yes actually... At the exit to the ride there is a fence that divides the old viewing area on your right. If you peek over the fence to the east by the tree next to the money change machine there is a pink flag. Visually follow the flag into the woods towards the WWC tunnel at the back of the ride and you'll see a couple more flags. Now turn to your left and walk towards the geyser game (TB's favorite game if by chance you know Tb), look down on the ground to your left. There is a stake driven into the the ground and at ground level is an orange marker... This means a dig spot if I am remembering flag colors. Rode the train and it looks as if a coupl more pink flags have popped up to the right of the train near geyser canyon. Lots of digging and clearing to the right of the train near the turntable area on the return trip to RiverTown. Still looking for clues. What if.... And it's a big what if.... What if this attraction is for 2018 and not 2017? -
WDW: Think Twice?

DisneyWorld is usually flooded with Britons this time of year... So if they take heed there might be a bright side to the scare mongering. -
Cinci Zoo Gorilla Death
upstop replied to The Interpreter's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Wow. So incredibly tragic on all sides. I'm curious how the child got through the fencing, Something is strange about that. I haven't been to the gorilla exhibit in years, so I can't remember the compound. In most of the exhibits, a small child would need to be lifted to see inside. The one thing that bothers me about some visitors is the willingness to sit a child on an exhibit fence. I hope that is not the real case in this instance. -
That will also make a great feature for Halloween Haunt!

I wonder if the "overlook" entrance, main entrance and exit are one and the same? So far I am believing they are one and the same.

Welcome BeastlyBanshee! Magenta Lizzard captured a picture of the Tin Man and it's posted about halfway back in the thread some place. Did you happen to see a clearing of trees near the hammerhead of Diamondback while you were riding? I still haven't seen it for myself. Might have to head up to the park and wait an hour to see it.... Tehehe! -

I305 drops 305 ft into a right turn at 90 miles per hour, so all that Gav needs to do to adjust for force is to adjust the pullout approaching the second hill (like I305) and problem solved. I kind of like the layout of his coaster. -
My how times have changed. When I worked food service we stayed open until the last customer was served. Then we broke down all equipment and cleaned the work areas. There were times that I might have left at 2 or 3 in the morning.

Ooo! It's a Bobcat themed coaster! -
I found it interesting that the kiosk in RiverTown closed practically at 6pm on Sunday . The group I was with wanted refills and we went to the Tower. I'm sure if that was closed they would have been p'o'd. And later in Festhouse we were sitting and just as if someone passed gas, the place cleared. I looked up and all of the lights in Panda Express and Larosa's were out.... 7pm on the nose.... So off to I Street Larosa's. ... And like Festhouse the entry doors closed earlier than usual. It's almost as if they are intentionally forcing guests to decide to leave.

No.... But just rode it on You Tube.... Looks rough. But do you have your knees higher than your shoulders and a lap bar from your waist to your sternum on Predator?
