Hmmm. The only remaining asphalt in the park (that I can think of so correct me if I'm wrong) is around the tower, behind the Dogems and around through Rivertown and partially between Dback and the toilets. I wonder why the Rivertown pavers ended where they do?

No I stayed away from the park Friday. But thanks for the info.....I think this Friday will be packed for sure for the Dive-in.....Frozen....yikes!

Compare that to "Nights of Fire" under Paramount. The crowds were so huge they actually placed barricades to prevent crowd movement during the fireworks. After the park sold, the event was scrapped thus taking one of the busiest sales days for the park and apparently scrapping that too. I was at the park Thursday and saw two military vehicles.....no banners, stars or flags (except for the flag pole). I intentionally stayed away because I expected crowds. Too bad for the park if crowds didnt show up...big crowds on the 4th, means mo money for the park!

I wouldn't mind seeing the Attitudes shop relocated, and a Crazy Daisy ride put under the awning of that building....nice place for one, don't you think?

Does anyone currently manufacture the "Tumblebug" type ride? If so, I'd be all for that...simple yet fun. Or heck why not another Keel Boat type ride. Chance Rides seems to have a few interesting flat rides that I wouldn't mind seeing at our park too.

Is tonight's movie still on? And.... does one have to get in the wave pool in order to watch the movie?...also what time is it recommended that one arrive to get in to the event?

Keep in mind that 2017 is KIs 45th anniversary. They might hold out for a major attraction until then. And in only 7 years KI would be 50 years old!!!! Where the heck did time go!!!

The singing busts in the graveyard and the Leota head in thr crystal ball of "the mansions" are direct predecessors of projection mapping. Very effective and eerie!

After perusing Triotech's website, it appears that whatever they create contains a gun or laser. "Pushing the limits of interactive media-based attractions" However, the one unique product that they offer that I thought was extremely exciting, was Illusio http://www.trio-tech.com/ Look under products. The whole idea of projection mapping is intriguing. By making inanimate objects appear alive is a whole other dimension in dark attractions!!!

I rode PT the other day and was approaching hyper blaster status (an unofficial stage above master blaster ) when in the skeletom room, there was a brief blip where all targets and lighting went out.... and my score reset to zero.... I ended the game-ride with less than 200 points and an even lower self esteem.... is it okay to just add the points back in unofficially or is that cheating? Lol

Rule number 1 - always be prepared. 2.layer clothing, its easier to take off rather than put on 3.travel light. 4. expect to store stuff if you have to. 5. there's going to be fog, sorry. 6. Don't want to be scared, buy the flashy thing. (Although I TOTALLY agree about the screaming) 7.Haunt is for Haunt enthusiasts, not coaster enthusiasts, coasters are only an added benefit....as a matter of fact, without Haunt, the season would end after Labor Day....you have all season to ride night rides......also rides were NEVER a part of original Fearfest, they came about as a result of Fearfest overflow the following weekend, and only The Racer, Monster and Scrambler opererated. All ot this is said in good fun, so please don't take it personally. ;-) Viva la Haunt!!!!

I seriously doubt, IMHO, it will be a coaster. I also recall that somewhere it was stated that there would be no dark ride installations in the parks next year.... this leaves Soak City or perhaps another flat ride or two. My guess, in the former pattern of the park (main park, kiddie land, water park installation) something in Soak City. But I've been way off base before, and CF has been full of surprises too....so it's anybody's guess.

Talk about swimming in toilets....yuck!

Just as I was leaving earlier they announced that the park would remain open till 11 tonight....I wonder why?.....lol....I figured it was because of bring a busload night....

Crowd=good for park...yeah.... Crowd=bad for me. Sooo.....seeeee yaaaaa! about 40 minutes....thats a record for me....lol
