  1. at the nascar speed park in sevierville, tn, they have one of the starship 4000's, me and the group i was with rode it four times in a row, lets just say, it's very difficult to drive a go-cart after you're that dizzy. :P

and you're right about that crashing to the floor, not a fun experience.

  2. I agree. Nickelodeon is a modernized tv channel still on air which im sure draws more little kids to the park than a 60 year-old comic strip that was in the newspaper every week. I bet that KI won't get the Golden Ticket for best KId's Area this year.

i don't understand why you all say this, it's the same exact place it was, all they did was replace spongebob and pals with snoopy and friends. it's not like Kings Island went in and removed every ride and replaced it with small rides like what Cedar Point's Planet Snoopy is filled with, all they did was gave rides/buildings much needed paint jobs along with new signs and added some new statues.

if anything, Planet Snoopy deserves the golden ticket award much more than last seasons nick u. did.

  3. yes/no/enterprise

i really want a screamin' swing, but since the other two attractions in x-base have more of a secret government training feel to it, i voted for an enterprise, kind of like the g' force test that astronauts and some pilots go through, making it, in my mind at least, the easiest to tie into the current theme of the area.

  4. Honestly, I don't think any coaster will be built to be taller or faster than Kingda Ka for loooooong time. At least not in this economy...

there are two coasters right now slated to be faster than kingda ka, they just haven't got that fast yet, i don't think.

  5. i was on my way home from Cedar Point the day of the announcement, and i asked my dad if we could stop by Kings Island since we were going to be driving by it, then he informed me of already set in stone plans for that day and took i-75 home instead of i-71 so i couldn't talk him into it. :P i ended up getting a text and then checked it out on my grandma's computer.

  6. Why can't there be a Hyperdive Machine? Just imagine - a first 200+ foot drop, and out-and-back layout of airtime hills, hammerhead turn, a few more hills, a block brake, a second vertical drop, inversion, splashdown, breaks.

you forgot the trims, what Cedar Fair owned ride could possibly be complete without them?

  7. does he get to skip to the front of the lines? if not, he better hope he's there on a dead day.

i don't think it would be that difficult to ride four roller coasters in less than one hour, especially if you didn't have to wait in lines.

just a question, it says four of the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the world, does that mean the four are top thrill, millie, magnum, and wicked twister?

  8. The Beast opened in 1979, with both lift hills in place. Originally quoted as being 7,400 feet long, a more accurate number of its length lists it at 7,359 feet. The only significant change made to the ride (other than the new braking system about five years ago), was the combining of two tunnels after the brake shed.

another significant change was the re-profiling of the left turn coming out of the tunnel after the first drop. if i remember correctly the turn used to have little to no banking, and now you can see where it's degree of banking is larger.

  9. okay, i was going more by the "not a one of which is in the united states of america" where two of the six diving machines are located.

but i think i just read your post completely wrong.
