The zoo also has a Swan Lake. Although there Swan Lake still appears as a lake and not a shallow pool used for a ride`s water effect.
Even Camden Park has a Swan Lake...and pedal boats...shaped like Swans!
lol, when i read that an image of people in swan shaped pedal boats, pedaling around Diamondback's splashdown popped into my head.

i love sky hawk, it's my number one flat ride of all time. , sorry to hear about the not getting to ride it and congrats to a roll back, the closest i've come to one was waiting next to the "grandstands" after one of lake erie's freak rain storms.

maybe they're just trying to create an excuse to remove that said coaster in Action Zone.
-
^i agree, lol. if you do another fly over Kings Island, would you please take some photos of Son of Beast's structure, like the rosebowl.
-
so i just found this video of the crypt from when it had it's most amazing program ever:
compare it to now, it's not as intense, but i'll still go out of my way to ride it:

Yesterday in Gym, I heard one of my buddies say that "Snoopy Land" had 10 coasters and his dad owned Kings Island.
Ya everybody at my school calls it Snoopy Land........some people really just say whatever. Haha.
This is all I have to say. Fail?
Comment from link above on facebook
Ever since Cedar Point bought Kings Island from Paramount everything has gotten dumber and dumber. They had to get rid of all the Nick. characters and made everything SNOOPYLAND for god's sake! and the new names for some of the rides? Ridiculous. Like, Drop zone got changed to Drop Tower.yea, people just amaze me, and good luck if you ever try to put any truth into your wall post, i've had every single wall post of mine deleted because the fifth grader running the page believes i'm lying about Vortex not sinking.
-
that sounds like a great 5@5 question, it would be very interesting to find out.
-
i love that the lights, when lit, don't look as if they are just thrown up on the trees.
great job Cedar Fair/Kings Island.
-
i love how you took the picture just as Diamondback was going through the splash down.
-
Park love and coaster painting, as I see it, have no correlation. Though, I still think it's ridiculous that Vortex gets painted in 2001 and again in 2009 when it doesn't need it, and then Flight Deck goes unpainted and rotting for years.
Keep in mind how bad Vortex looked before they painted it in 2001. It might as well have been painted white. I can't find a pic right now, but I found one in a magazine a while ago, and was shocked... that must have been it's original paintjob!

^try it, then you'll understand, i never wanted to believe him, until i rode there.

^i think holiday world, as a seasonal park, and disney, as a year round park, have got Cedar Point beat in the "keeping things a secret" department.

that is awesome, i especially like the wheelchair swings, it really lets them feel like they're fitting in better.
-
^ i'm almost 100% positive that they are like the ones on the cars that make up the trains for backlot, not like the ones on top thrill.
-
i think since the program has changed, the main reason i ride is just so i can hear the drive motors running, it's just some crazy echo-ie goodness that i can't get enough of.
-
There are actually TWO roller coasters at Ferrari World. One is a launched racing/dueling coaster, with cars that are similar to the Premier Backlot rides. The pictures linked to in the first link appear to be to this coaster, which is NOT the F-1 coaster. The F-1 coaster will use trains similar to the rendering shown in the second link.
i'm sorry about that, i misread the story on screamscape.
here is the link to the f-1 coaster trains.
-
another question, i know they look similar in pictures, but is flight deck an exact replica of Vortex at canada's wonderland?
-
^i don't think it will be possible to ever make Son of Beast look like an eyesore.
-
^yes, i e-mailed the park and that was the reply i received, as long as it was purchased by the 31st, i can process it whenever, but if i don't i will either have to spend more money on buying a platinum or, funny enough, spend more money on a regular season pass.
-
If this has been stated then please forgive me, but with work sometimes don't get to read everything posted on here. Yesterday when I was at the park, and got on Drop Tower, as I started up I noticed that they had taken all the railing down in the station for the lines (ques). Is that a good indication that it won't be redone and that we are heading for it to be dismantled. Like I said if this has already been said, overlook me.
i know i'm very optimistic about the ride, but could this just mean nothing more than new trains?
-
tomb raider opened in '02, not '01, and you can't go by a pattern like this, it all depends on the parks budget.
-
okay, i have a season pass question and didn't feel the need to create a new thread.
my family and i bought gold passes last season and are planning on renewing this year, my question is, we are uncertain if we will make it to the park before may 31st, if we don't, since we're just renewing, will they let us renew our gold pass after that date, or will they bump us down to a regular season pass?
-
^nah... they'll just remove the headlights and change the trains to all one solid color
-
not for sure, but i believe california's great america
