  1. well, i don't see the need in wasting money on a book, that when reading excerpts from obviously has lies written in it.
  2. who were your references? i seriously doubt that Kings Island's hiring center told you a lie about who ran their rides.
  3. yea, i kinda figured the knocked over light poles and crushed brick walls that we encountered in the park last february was because of vehicles.
  4. ^how often does Son of Beast valley? obviously not that frequently here in the past year.
  5. i love how they install stop signs around the park, it makes me imagine people randomly driving around the park for their own amusement.
  6. what makes me laugh is that he honestly thinks that if a broken lift system is broken, it can still successfully carry passengers to the top of a lift structure.
  7. your picture link doesn't work.
  8. also, these rides arn't ideas that are thought of one day and then the next day are added into an amusement/theme park, they are made into small scale, then full scale models and tested repeatedly before even being available for the purchase and installation into parks. if you are scared to ride something, there is no need to try and scare the public into believe things that are not true and as has been proven many times before, you can't trust what employees in a park say, most of them couldn't even fathom what goes into the complexity of amusement park rides. *in addition, accidents are little hiccups that happen. some cars burst into flames after a car wreck, are you going to write a book on the dangers of car manufacturing?
  9. if you all look at the web-cam right now, it's got some pretty awesome views of Diamondback in heavy snow.
  10. i like the logo, but to me it looks like the "way too much" is floating instead of attached to the logo.
  11. yea, i feel that when i was first tall enough to ride Vortex i burned myself out on it, thus making it my least favorite roller coaster at Kings Island (excluding the ride formally known as little bill's giggle coaster)
  12. ^the way the article read, i took it as Kings Island was going to name it thunder express, then after paramount bought the park they changed the name to top gun.
  13. have they released the height of the turn around? i was watching a video on youtube and either the supports are huge or the track is actually pretty tall.
  14. ^no they used to have a mine train style coaster named thunder express. see here
  15. my ride count on Diamondback was around 16, i only rode it once or twice each visit, i really didn't want to burn myself out on it.
  16. ^i kinda like flight deck better than thunder express.
  17. so, was flight deck/top gun, supposed to be opened as "thunder express" pre-paramount?
  18. so if that's the case, why did Cedar Fair go and re-theme all of the paramount related things at the park?
  19. wow , that's a big miss, is it really that hard for someone to find a picture that's current?
  20. ^your link doesn't work. edit: never mind, you must have been editing your post while i was typing mine.
  21. okay, wasn't sure with all of the crazy weather the country has been having and especially after nothing else appeared to have snow on it.
  22. looks awesome, i'm not really up on the weather in orlando, is that faux snow on the "town" roofs?
  23. too funny, this makes twice, it at least seems, the park did something that someone on here posted as a suggestion. post 23: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=20630&st=15&p=359035&hl=great%20wolf%20lodge%20discount&fromsearch=1entry359035
