  1. i don't care about the number of coasters, as long as they are ones worth coming back to the park for.
  2. ^^i'm not sure, i've never been in the graeters in Kings Island. i'm more of a soft serve kinda guy in all honesty. edit, terp knew the answer and posted it before me.
  3. ^^are you saying this fahrenheit is a one trick pony? though i've not ridden it, it looks more than a 97* drop to me.
  4. yes, and now on the opposite side of the park, you don't have to worry about the if's in life.
  5. Would you like to enlighten me as to why? he did kinda.
  6. wow, just had another random Kings Island dream. so in my dream dare-to-fly was my bus driver (this was one of those dreams where everything seemed normal until i woke up) and jeff siebert was a teacher at my school. so dare-to-fly and i were discussing trim brakes and how much we dislike them when jeff showed up and asked what we were talking about, so we told him and he got a twinkle in his eye and held up a key ring and shook it. i asked him what the keys were for and he said they were to Kings Island and that they still fit the locks. so that night jeff, dare-to-fly, and i sneaked into Kings Island and removed all the trim brakes in the park and loaded them into dare-to-fly's bus. then we drove off until we got to this big field behind my high school (which in real life doesn't even exist.) and burned them all to ashes. the weirdest part of this dream to me is that i've never even met dare-to-fly or jeff siebert in person in real life. yet they both appeared in this dream.
  7. ^and starbucks, although tiny, it still has an indoor seating area.
  8. ^^^Kings Island didn't even open until 1972, so it wouldn't be from the sixty's. judging by the price tag/ logo it was from before paramount, so you know it's at least 17 years old. so at least you have a start now at finding it's age.
  9. great trip report, i love the pictures too. this is why disney is my favorite amusement park chain, i felt that i enjoyed seeing the little kids running up to see their favorite characters more than me getting to be back at disney. i'm so glad your daughter had such a great time while at the happiest place on earth.
  10. because those are the kinds of things that scare some people. plus when you think about it there are a few "horror" movies out there that show scenes that involve indecent exposure.
  11. congrats on being part of history. http://kingsislandin...r.blogspot.com/
  12. ^that's the first reason i would never try out for a part in that play.
  13. well, i'm not going to star in a musical to get my point across.
  14. well, my hair is longer-ish, it goes down to about my collar and it almost completely covers my ears, i just don't see why it makes that big of a deal what your hair looks like, as long as it is taken care of properly and well groomed.
  15. ^if that's the case, Cedar Fair's "hair" ruling isn't as bad as disney's, to work at disney, a males hair must not cover the ear or touch the uniform's collar.
  16. how do parks get by with doing that? i'm actually quite amazed that there hasn't been a "discrimination" case thrown at them.
  17. does Cedar Fair have a strict rule on hair like disney has?
  18. ^sweeper's jobs are more than "trash clean-up." if i ever worked at an amusement park i would choose between sweep and ride operator.
  19. posted from over at screamscape, pictures of kings dominion's 2010 attraction began testing. link to photos although just pull through, this is, in my opinion, the best part of the ride's construction.
  20. ^also note "subject to change" they can update to add, or remove, rides from that list as they please, there are also rides that are almost always open on math and science days that didn't make that list.
  21. okay, thanks everyone, well tylerrider and violakat03, for answers and terpy for a creative joke.
  22. yea, but your missing something big, those blueprints don't just magically appear, you have to pay a company or someone to draw them up, print them off and hand them to you. i don't see them just wasting money to have them made just to close down a park.
  23. quick question, on my dad's gold pass from last year, his signature rubbed off to the point that now you have to look very hard to even see that it has been signed. will they still renew it?
