^you mean blu-ray? i'm about 97% sure that it's only being released on blu-ray.
-
speaking of that documentary, any word on when it will air on t.v.?
-
wouldn't the heat the ride gives off cause evaporation of the water in the "lava pit"? and is that why it's so cold in the ride chamber, to prevent sweating of the ride parts?
-
^where in that picture are you talking about? all i see is The Beast's lift hill in a "blizzard"
-
Son of Beast also appeared to "not have been touched" while the loop was removed, but from areal pictures taken you could clearly see that more work had been done than removing the loop and replacing it with a bunny hop. the way most people complain about the ride, the part that you see the most is not the problem area, it's the bottom of the rose bowl, which very little can been seen of while not inside the park, or anywhere but on the maintinace paths for that matter.

^that house was the home of the owners of the land Kings Island sets on before it was purchased to build Kings Island, so yes, the fort was built after the house.
-
what are you talking about?
-
i never got to ride it. the year i was finally tall enough to ride it was the year it was removed.
-
i was thinking more of this, from one of my favorite musicals: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgL6nZ2hYXA not technically "downtown" but it says it a lot.
-
okay, i know that there are threads with king cobra pov's, but this one is different from all of those, plus it was released by Kings Island *clicking the video works the same as a link
-
i really like standbyme's suggestions, but if the house is in well enough shape, i think it would be neat to remove the fort structure and do some touch up work to the old farm house setting in side of it and then the train operators could have a spiel about how that was the farm house belonging to the people who owned the land in which Kings Island sets on before it was purchased and Kings Island built. kind of like a mini history lesson about the park.

you, the way your post read, you were agreeing with terpy's post about how every time he hears Diamondback's horn he almost always thinks first " today's going to be a great adventure!" which was a reference to kingda ka's horn.
-
^ the interpreter was referring to Diamondback having the same horn as kingda ka (which is located at six flags great adventure.)
-
well, it's about time they changed the signs. they still had the looping Son of Beast logo on them. (still being positive )
-
terpy, how do you come up with this stuff.
-
^did you just hint a liking for Son of Beast?
-
^umm... how many people does it take to push that train back? although only a three car train, it still has to be heavy, doesn't it?
-
^i thought it was kinda neat that they asked you for a suggestion.

^not to mention the box of scooby snacks setting by the mantle. i guess you have to give them some credit though, the ride hasn't ran with the public as riders since the re-theme. -
the mystery machine was what the front of the photo booth, that was until it became fairly odd coaster.
