  1. ^actually on dragster, if something you want held onto in the station, weather it be cell phone or what, they tell you to stick it in your shirt, but you are allowed to have them in line.
  2. but the poll was the best fail ride, not the biggest.
  3. yea, like me terpy.
  4. he's a little more careful when it comes to keeping up with smaller objects. i know it's kinda confusing.
  5. well, he enjoys riding too, and i don't think he would like the idea of playing pack mule while i went and rode rides all day.
  6. ^ i guess i could, but i'm always afraid i'll lose the key, unless my dad is there to hold onto it.
  7. i know they've had at least one sale on raptor (me), but that was during the '08 season, i think they are a really neat alternative to on ride photos
  8. sorry, my computer submitted my post twice, one half way through typing.
  9. well, if i ever bring one, no rides for me, unless you count the Eiffel Tower as a ride.
  10. here is a link to coaster101's attraction awards of the decade poll.
  11. are ride op's allowed to hold on to things like that in the control booth for people?
  12. wow, lol, i forgot all about that thread, but i remember that right after Son of Beast re-opened that season, my sister brought one of her friends with her to Kings Island and my mom and dad bought each of them a copy of the video, mainly because in the clip you could see the part of them going through the cobra roll and my sister elbowed her friend in the face.
  13. i've never taken one to the park, but if it was me i would either rent a locker to place it in, or schedule days at the park for me to just go and take pictures, since i have a season pass
  14. if the reason they took them out was because there wasn't many people buying them, they took them out way to quickly, imo, to be able to tell. i remember the park advertising them in the photo booth, and i think it was late in the season before they were completely installed, and then they were removed over that offseason.
  15. wow, sounds like a scene from final destination.
  16. this was my favorite from '09 durring construction, and i believe that it was also the first web-cam image of the splashdown posted here by moi.
  17. ^what?! you called me out and told me i wasn't a doctor because i said "nobody had a "dag near stroke" on Son of Beast" and then you turn around and say everyone's right "there are no such things as "dag near stokes""?
  18. i think i've heard ready to go play at the sears in florence before, but a lot of the songs that they play in that store, at least to me, don't sound like "shopping tunes".
  19. ^ready to go by republica? ever since i went to Cedar Point for the first time, i can't watch national lampoon's vegas vacation without thinking of standing in line for it.
  20. You are 100% right on that terp 2 wrongs dont make a right. but three lefts do make a right
  21. wow, to me that means that something that went unnoticed in the last inspection could snowball into a much bigger problem, for example, a couple of nails on a piece of wood that was located towards the bottom of a lift structure had wiggled loose, and then under the pressure of the weight of the entire lift hill element the nails fell the rest of the way out and caused a colapse. so in other words something that would be a simple fix, turns into a nightmare of a repair. or am i just over thinking this.
  22. i have a question, when a wooden roller coaster goes down for an extensive period, does the daily walk throughs/ inspections still occur, or does the park suspend them until the ride reopens?
  23. and as soon as terpy starts to remove the hood that hides his face in the shadows, he takes it and pulls it even further down over his face.
  24. terpy, i'm going to agree with you, but i guess you have to give Cedar Fair credit for not going solid red.
  25. to me white seems to get dirty very quickly, look at top thrill dragster for example, and to me gray makes it look like all they did was put primer on the track and didn't even bother to finish the job.
