The sad thing is that people will say that such and such things things that went wrong, when the only ones who have the real answers are the park, and the people investigating the accident. I have seen that very thing on a parks Facebook page.

The park was the same way as far as the responsibility went when Six Flags owned it. KK needs to tread lightly with the government funding thing. That can be taken away real quick.

I still think we should make a follow up to this for Haunt hiring. Start it off like this video and have the Haunt scareactors invade it and chase everyone off! We should do a Thriller thing.

I tend to check out the clubs main web pages too if they have them. A few have forums too.

It's just the fact that the lines are in that area, and you have water around.

I always get a tad scared when i go to SC due to the high voltage power lines that go over the water park. I don't remember the water in SC being warm at all.

CP has it's downsides. I hate to say that though. Opening day bugs that are bad, and the fact that the season pass system they have never works right with platinum passes bought at other parks. You have to go to either Guest Services or the season pass center to get it fixed. I have had that problem as have many many others. It doesn't help that they blame other parks for the problem.

We stopped by KI on the way to Holiday World for Holiwood Nights Friday, and ran into a guy who was going to go to KK. He told us that the park was closed when he looked on the site.

KI never does that. They always give a heads up once the calendar for the season comes out. They will have a color code for hours and days closed. Alot of people fail to look at it. KI's Facebook page lets people know as well i believe. They close the park to the public the Sunday of opening weekend, and in Sept. a few times. That is why Haunt opens later the first Saturday of Haunt in Sept.

Beast has a camera at the first tunnel. The only 3 coasters that do not not have cameras are Invertigo, Racers and The Bat.

It takes alot to get us done up for Haunt. Lol. The actors are just one of the things. The park would have to hire makeup and costume people as well.

I have said to people that KI does that every year.

The flat rides need major overhauls. That's one of the things a big themepark never really invests in. Even though i never ride the flats, it's nice to see them redone.

Everything will depend on what you will be taking. Look at what you will need and won't need. If you just want to take money, keys and cell phone, get shorts or pants that have zip up pockets. Don't use the hourly lockers. Don't use the Soak City lockers either unless you plan to go to the waterpark as they will close at a certain time, and you won't be able to get to them. The front of the park lockers are better. As Dieseltech said, your trunk is good too.

Could be replacing something?

KI might need to invest more in the dino's to get them working right again.

It's hard to tell whats going on at GL anymore. Lol.

Whoever owns the land right now. No one wants the coaster unless the owners auction it off to a park that can use it. The Columbus Zoo needs a coaster badly for the waterpark.

I know that they have a big tow truck event in the fall every year. But does that no rooms available thing mean that they are booked, or they are doing for annual maintenance? Not sure why they would close down when they are busy at the park. It's indeed annual maintenance. There's no way they would be fully booked for those dates this far in advance, especially the weekdays. And the shutdown period always shows up as unavailable on the rate calendar as soon as the dates in question are visible on it. So much for doing it during the winter lol.
