  1. Yeah that looks like it might be that.. but probably nothing as exciting as the double down just before it
  2. Im not talking about the speed though... not exactly hah, like it hardly looks like a crest at all rather than a straight section that tilts. Im just saying its hard to tell. 29 seconds doesnt seem right. Lol voyage alone has 24.3 seconds which is a much longer ride. From the animation im gonna guess somewhere between 15-18sec still great! But if it was gonna break the wooden coaster record for most airtime KI better be promoting that [emoji110]
  3. Looks sweet.. not sure about that trick track to the right before swooping up to the break run. Hoping it has some air but it doesnt look like it
  4. Same. But as a kid I loved them.. I'm sure it can be just as exciting for kids today. They get to drive! Attendance wasnt poor IIRC when Italian Job came in
  5. Sounds like slight poor foresight if that is the case
  6. Very often will people prefer the old, if it was really good before, it's darn near impossible to do better unless the old has faded
  7. Id hope KI and both Busch Gardens have already thought of this. I wouldnt expect the engineers to puff till after the cross
  8. I've heard Firehawk (XFlight) was originally designed FOR KI in Action Zone. Paramount changed their mind after the design was finished, and Geauga Lake took it instead. Firehawk (xflight) being up for grabs years later probably made Cedar Fair easily pick KI for it, if they knew this (assumingly true) information.. Almost with a thought of "they were gonna get it anyways" sort of thought.
  9. But it still makes money where as a coaster wont directly create funds
  10. KI's history really is Coney Island's history which is only 16 years after Cedar Point opened.. Lake Erie is impossible to beat.. but idk for most others, but I dont know any friends or family that go to Cedar Point because its got coasters and a beach... i only ever hear them talk about the coasters... for whatever that's worth. I think Cedar Point gets to feel more like a resort with all the different styles of arrival, and being where it is, but park wise, I dont really think CP offers an incredible amount more that it can't ever be met.. sans an unforeseen revolutionary addition
  11. I think it stopped being majestic the year Paramount removed the Les Taxis and put in IJST
  12. I will be surprised if all three trains are the same color since we know for a fact one is orange-copper-brownish lol Orange-- because the ride is themed with the story involving a baby blue chevy.. And we have seen the queue truck.. and we know the the front of the trains are slated to have resembling fronts. all of this makes me think at least one will be blue.. and probably only one.
  13. See ya later metal fencing Sans switch-back railing
  14. That would be a dream come true. There wouldnt be any copyrights for those characters would there? They were generic characters right?
  15. I hate its capacity more than i hate its location
  16. Whos fault was that accident again? I dont remember
  17. The GP always complains about headbanging, if S&S or Vekoma could somehow make it work, that'd for sure do it I think.. But I don't think that's going to happen Hopefully CF doesn't ever decide to slap on VR.. I'd rather tear it down and get something else
  18. Now that is a VR implementation that I can get on board with. Doesn't cut ride lines in half at all.. And it could be a neat little test for if they ever wanted to do a dark ride that didn't need physical construction. Could save on money in the long run, space required etc.
  19. Yeah, though I'd rather the TR building be figured out before Action Theater. AT is relatively out of sight, sans Racer and WindSeeker.. but TR building is an obvious structure. Maybe Mack could figure out a mine train type of wild mouse that took more vertical space floorspace.. Maybe the first vertical lift for a wild mouse.. How's CF's relationship with the people who made Cannibal? If they can make a tighter coaster, but have weird elements to represent the makeshift nature of a mine, that'd be very cool.. but those supports would have to be TIGHT! I was going to say Gerstlauer but.. I wouldn't want their OTSR. Zierer has already shown they can do their coasters with lapbars... who actually could also be a good candidate.. Maybe S&S once they figure out Galeforce..
  20. Nothing specific, but some signature element facing the clock and tower, other medium sized airtime hills to balance the view.
  21. I always felt that, if the coaster was ever sold off, *Hallelujah* it would need to be something really gorgeous.. esp from the tower looking across. Park planning wise though.. nothing abnormally tall would ever likely be there though; too close to the tower
