I think that would certainly help, though I wouldn't hold my breath for anything crazy for a complete redo. The simple painting of the visible side of the barn certainly helps with the immersion already! It was a detail I didn't realize we needed, but since the building was visible, it certainly helps. Especially since this new ride seems to be related in theme to FOF. I'm glad CF is continuing the trend of soft theming for their rides.

If that's true, then it looks like the ride will send off launching or lifting over top of Voyage's first drop, and then... is that an inversion through that gap of supports in Voyage's lift??? There IS a lot of space there above the return-trip track.. would they do such a thing?? lol EDIT-- It also seems to be too far north to be using that gap.. but, going through existing structure seems even more unlikely..

And it's too bad they can't have FOF's, Backlot's, and Millie's un-boarding station. I feel it would speed up capacity on a couple of our coasters. (especially for Banshee, Diamondback, The Beast, and Vortex)

Looks like they changed the chart on Firehawk for some reason. Sorry for adding to the explosion of replies. :p

Yes, exactly. Not sitting on a wheel seat makes a world of a difference.. and although some parks may advise not to lean forward.. I lean forward and avoid getting my head smacked; I will not explicitly suggest that anyone else do it; it works for me however. I will say, related to roughness.. I've found that Banshee has become unenjoyable to me at the bottoms of the hills. There is so much rattle. I've ridden a fair number of B&M inverts, including the very first at SFGAm, Batman.. but Banshee, one of the newest ones, somehow has aged to develop the worst B&M rattle that I've ever experienced. Diamondback only has the one moment, and it's still not that terrible, but I walked off Banshee with a headache the last time as did my sister who rode a different train. I don't understand what causes it, but I hope someone does understand why it's there this year, and they are able to help reduce it.

Banshee had station and lift vertical progress by Sep 10th 2013. I'm expecting mid-late August to be the beginning of vertical construction.

Doesn't the height calculated from the blueprints assume the ground elevation is the same as the elevation at the beginning of the lift? Or is it based on a footer height underneath it? I have a feeling the height of the ride will be announced with the glorious 300.. but it's just a hunch :p

The 2019 show for the bandstand is Off the Charts; another year, mostly different music. Hot Rhythm Nights was only for Grand Carnivale here and at Kings Dominion. Probably will be brought to the next two parks for Grand Carnivale.

And what a fantastic rider Apollo's chariot is too! :p -
Anyone who looks excited and eager to dance can be invited to dance Less likely if you're an adult surrounded by 5+ outgoing kids, though.. no one's gonna tell you not to come out and join while the floats are parked and safe.

I think China's level of visuals and athletic ability is the bigger draw for the crowd than its admittedly good location; I'm very impressed whenever I see that stuff on TV or at a circus, so now I can see it at KI

That'd be a mighty fine place to outflow the ride's opening weekend crowds IMO. Could even wrap it to the south and have the line be close to the ride's helix before its final turn :p Otherwise, plenty of space northwest. Probably wouldn't want people on the access roads though. Could end up looking like when Firehawk opened too :p

That's a little worrisome! Seems that there are at least some small plans for 2020 at the Kingdom, however!

I wouldn't expect much until after June 15th; after Grand Carnivàle has debuted. Just my expectation though.

I really enjoy the line splitters usually. You don't have to worry about keeping your group together. But sometimes an employee will give you attitude. Simply requested the front row after he gave us numbers (party of two), and just short-like said, "I said row blah blah blah." Like, dude, if it's that big of a deal you can say, "sorry, we need to keep the lines even." and just be polite about it, or... just let people wait for the front. Sometimes I wonder what would happen if we just let people cut us till we get a row we want :p Never done that, cause I'm only that petty in my imagination, but.. I mean.. someone has to get the front eventually, right? I think if you are a group of 2, there's almost never a reason to not let someone request a certain row.

Same could be pointed out about WindSeeker. :p The riders probably aren't reaching that 301' height

There's always some group of people that decide the world needs to hear their low quality (because it's probably stolen imo) music blasted on their speaker haha Especially unfavorable when you're hiking trying to taking in the views and atmosphere that nature has to offer.

It's just good Youtube practice :p It draws people in

It's unfortunately been mellowed out over the years with retracks. The original POV shows that it wasn't a mere right turn w/ a speed hill. It was deliberate before .. and I think it was more rough there before aswell haha

Imagine how it felt for this lol https://rcdb.com/277.htm

I said nothing negative lol

This station has the roof of Invertigo, and the body of... I guess Firehawk's? Looks like it'll fit in the area well.

This doesn't block future expansion. Notice the supports. You can tell where it doesn't reach the ground sometimes by looking at supports. The cement path that still exists will still be walk-able under that helix at the end too. Though connecting from the main X-base plaza will pose some awkward pathways for sure. Also as someone else mentioned, the track will bank beyond 90* in at least 2 places. I'm just hoping for at least 300' height straight below the highest point, and hoping for this to not have a nearly 100ft tall final brake. I think both can't be granted with this layout. Otherwise, why does Kings Island continue to shade way less than 50% of their queues? This one will be packed with people and we still have only a couple of places with shade. (these places may not even be walked through once we get passed opening years).
