  1. It's true. As of May 2018. Rebel... Wait.. Racer75 runs very smoothly. I will say the airtime was quite lacking compared to our Racer.. But most people, not I, complain about the roughness.. Racer75 was as smooth as Mystic Timbers 2017
  2. I think with the removal of a high-thrill coaster, personally, I wouldn't expect a big investment aside from a high-thrill coaster.. until another high-thrill coaster is placed back in. That said, a high-thrill dark ride... or any dark ride, for that matter... I would greatly cherish.. especially in those hot, july afternoons; I miss TR.
  3. Got my final ride on Firehawk at 6:50pm ish. Probably only 30 minutes worth of queue behind us as the park was about to close.
  4. Just having more indoor attractions would be a huge plus.. No more TRTR, Action Theatre. More things to do on oober hot days or rainy days would be nice.
  5. Where's that photo from? I'm so ecstatic to see that stage being cleared up and probably being used in the future
  6. For people confused why a cirque show or any show wasn't mentioned for KI Theater.. I'm surprised you haven't checked the site: https://www.visitkingsisland.com/play/shows within the last week it has been up
  7. I would love a to spin to return to KI, top scan, and a ferris wheel
  8. Unfortunately, there's probably a reason they didn't even do this for Winterfest 2017
  9. No shows yet aside from: https://www.visitkingsisland.com/play/shows/live-bands
  10. Kings Island: The Bat mostly (King Kobra honorable mention) Elsewhere: Big Bad Wolf// Hypersonic XLC// Drachen Fire.. I can't decide which the most...
  11. Past several years a Festhaus revue show did open with the park. 90s, Hollywood, Let It Rock, Boyz etc. Contracted-out talent doesn't always guarantee quality, I might add... uhm, IMO It does virtually guarantee availability and large companies of talent, though.
  12. I would love to see a Giga's lift hill travel from between FOF and Racer, and go over FOF and be between it and Firehawk... For no reason other than I think it's cool; which is what the majority of this thread is
  13. One wonders how many residents started living here before the park existed/ started having loud rides late at night. What noise we might have without them ~ Thankful and disappointed with their noise complaints
  14. I wish too- There was something very comfortable about the Giant Top spin - I don't like regular ones (least the one I rode); would spin too quickly, and you're crammed in next to people.
  15. You won't spot the dirtiness on them as easily once those start to collect eventually
  16. Which is a shame, because although MT is almost a family tier coaster, it'd be nice to have a coaster option for the kids, as well as the coaster option that the older people get to experience in winterfest temps; whatever that may bring for ye face
  17. Firehawk tends to operate too slowly for me to want to wait in line on typical crowd days, on top of the queue issues you guys mention.
  18. Why would that banner be in the shed.. lol Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  19. I don't have much time these days, but where exactly did this "antique returns" rumor come from?
  20. To rid The Beast or The Racer of the super tall (for me) back rests, where many far crazier and some rougher woodies don't have them, would be an A+ from me!
  21. For what it's worth, I've had mid 80s and had only wonderful rides on the coaster. the only bad ride was when I got the one seat the tightens too tight and my legs feel all the flying around my body is doing.. It's like Skyrush having all the forces on the middle of your thigh. If you can get a front row of whatever car you have, do it.. Make sure you have your belt tight-ish so that THAT is what take in your forces, not the lapbar. The belt on your waist will be much more comfy than a lapbar on your thighs. Keep your legs forward, try to lean forward on parts that you expect roughness. You'll be fine.
  22. Are you insinuating what I think you are? There are very nice, respectable, conscientious people that don't have the budget for expensive days at KI. There are the people you wish to avoid who actually have quite a lot of money.
  23. What FOF96 said. But also remember there is equipment on that stage (drums, keyboards, speakers, stands etc.) from Off The Charts. So you may or may not actually want to propose there. -Best
