  1. Sounds like slight poor foresight if that is the case
  2. Very often will people prefer the old, if it was really good before, it's darn near impossible to do better unless the old has faded
  3. Id hope KI and both Busch Gardens have already thought of this. I wouldnt expect the engineers to puff till after the cross
  4. I've heard Firehawk (XFlight) was originally designed FOR KI in Action Zone. Paramount changed their mind after the design was finished, and Geauga Lake took it instead. Firehawk (xflight) being up for grabs years later probably made Cedar Fair easily pick KI for it, if they knew this (assumingly true) information.. Almost with a thought of "they were gonna get it anyways" sort of thought.
  5. But it still makes money where as a coaster wont directly create funds
  6. KI's history really is Coney Island's history which is only 16 years after Cedar Point opened.. Lake Erie is impossible to beat.. but idk for most others, but I dont know any friends or family that go to Cedar Point because its got coasters and a beach... i only ever hear them talk about the coasters... for whatever that's worth. I think Cedar Point gets to feel more like a resort with all the different styles of arrival, and being where it is, but park wise, I dont really think CP offers an incredible amount more that it can't ever be met.. sans an unforeseen revolutionary addition
  7. I think it stopped being majestic the year Paramount removed the Les Taxis and put in IJST
  8. I will be surprised if all three trains are the same color since we know for a fact one is orange-copper-brownish lol Orange-- because the ride is themed with the story involving a baby blue chevy.. And we have seen the queue truck.. and we know the the front of the trains are slated to have resembling fronts. all of this makes me think at least one will be blue.. and probably only one.
  9. See ya later metal fencing Sans switch-back railing
  10. That would be a dream come true. There wouldnt be any copyrights for those characters would there? They were generic characters right?
  11. I hate its capacity more than i hate its location
  12. Whos fault was that accident again? I dont remember
  13. The GP always complains about headbanging, if S&S or Vekoma could somehow make it work, that'd for sure do it I think.. But I don't think that's going to happen Hopefully CF doesn't ever decide to slap on VR.. I'd rather tear it down and get something else
  14. Now that is a VR implementation that I can get on board with. Doesn't cut ride lines in half at all.. And it could be a neat little test for if they ever wanted to do a dark ride that didn't need physical construction. Could save on money in the long run, space required etc.
  15. Yeah, though I'd rather the TR building be figured out before Action Theater. AT is relatively out of sight, sans Racer and WindSeeker.. but TR building is an obvious structure. Maybe Mack could figure out a mine train type of wild mouse that took more vertical space floorspace.. Maybe the first vertical lift for a wild mouse.. How's CF's relationship with the people who made Cannibal? If they can make a tighter coaster, but have weird elements to represent the makeshift nature of a mine, that'd be very cool.. but those supports would have to be TIGHT! I was going to say Gerstlauer but.. I wouldn't want their OTSR. Zierer has already shown they can do their coasters with lapbars... who actually could also be a good candidate.. Maybe S&S once they figure out Galeforce..
  16. Nothing specific, but some signature element facing the clock and tower, other medium sized airtime hills to balance the view.
  17. I always felt that, if the coaster was ever sold off, *Hallelujah* it would need to be something really gorgeous.. esp from the tower looking across. Park planning wise though.. nothing abnormally tall would ever likely be there though; too close to the tower
  18. What if, since we'll likely wait awhile for a giga what if we, if we ever grt a 300+ coaster, end up skipping giga and going straight for a 400ft coaster? Fury is 325ft, and who knows who might try to up that concerning non-launched coasters.. i think not likely.. but.. maybe at least expecting taller than Fury. Kings Island IMO is really only a giga and one uniquely thrilling coaster away from being more well known than CP. Something less umique as unique SOB was.. but perhaps as unique as strata coasters are.. or dive coasters.. or drop track coasters? Idk. I'm also still waiting for a beyond 90° drop at KI. Edit- or one AT 90° steep drops are not KIs strong suit like at CP or heck even Hersheypark and Dollywood have us beat by two steep coasters.
  19. Yeah, but what I mean is make a new coaster correctly but with completely new track [emoji14] So same layout.
  20. Yeah I could see that. Just depends where you draw the line at floater, strong airtime, and ejector.. ejector for me either fatigues my legs, looking at Lightning Rod, or makes me go "whoa" even if I expect it ... i.e. Maverick Floater is a weak airtime, voyage is strong (medium), but ejector makes me feel like I have more than 1x my body weight pulling me out of my seat
  21. Shhh... one should not say "spring is here" The winds will return and spite thee... Wait till you're complaining about heat before you can feel safe from the cold..
  22. I couldn't find any video of the snapchat video coming out the station. Maybe it wasn't the same, as I also thought!
